Heret nuzzled Lumi, smiling softly. "But, we can take it slow, I promise." He kissed her cheek before he pulled away and moved over to lay down on his bed. He may not be able to see, but he could most definetely hear when someone's voice began panicked.

Lumi relaxed visibly as she nodded her head slowly and took in a few breaths trying to calm her breathing down. She gulped once or twice and smiled finally. "slow is good." she laughed shakilly, "Slow is really good."

"Of course it is. Bad things can happen when you rush this sort of thing." Heret smiled, "So if you feel like I'm scaring you because I'm being too forward or something, please let me know. Kay?"
Balin smiled, rolling his eyes and stepping out to leave the two alone. They were so funny to watch.

Lumi faltered for a moment. She hoped Heret didn't think for one moment that it was him that was scaring her away. She felt like finding a cave and dying in it. "no... um... no... it's not that.... you're not... I'm just..... GAH!"
For once in Lumi's life, she felt terribly shy, so much so that she was tripping over her words, as she let out that final exclamation, swishing her tail and fluttering her wings in agitation. She let out a huff of breath before finally walking up to Heret and laying down beside him, and laying her head over Heret's neck.
"There's nothing wrong with you, I'm just dumb when it comes to relationships."

Heret blinked then smiled, nuzzling Lumi. "Well, I'm pretty bad at the whole relationship thing too. We'll work together on it, okay?" He knew that Lumi was the sort of person that he'd be able to have the patience to work on a relationship with.
Balin rolled his eyes and quietly slipped out of the glen, leaving the two alone.

For once in Lumi's life, she felt happy, safe, and most importantly, she felt loved laying there next to Heret. Even though she would probably count Makaio as her best freind, but when she'd spent the night in his cave, she'd woken up smiling but still with the intense urge to run, but then again, when she'd looked at Makaio she'd only thought of him as pretty, he'd reminded her of her little siblings. When she looked at Heret, all she could think of him was, Handsome. When she looked at Heret, she saw the male that she would be willing to spend the rest of her life with, she saw the male that she would want to have fawns with.
She smiled softly as her eyes went soft and she gently readjusted herself so that she would be able to lay her head down on him comfortably. Here was the male that she loved, she now knew what it felt like to find her missing half. She'd be willing to do anything for him, She'd kill for him if she had to.
As the realization dawned on her of what she'd just figured out, as her concious mind caught up with her unconcious mind as well as her heart; Lumina's eyes began to water, and she couldn't help but take in a shakey breath. She exhaled and laughed lightly, 'well work on it together'. Heret made it sound so simple, made it sound so easy. He made it sound like there was nothing in the world that would be able to take them apart.. and maybe it was just like that. Maybe they were meant to be together... But as she thought about all that had happened today, from the sudden realization of love, to the almost escape, to the realization of what had happened to Heret, Lumi felt a sharp pang in her heart. She knew more truth about Heret, than he knew about her... She would need to tell him the truth, eventually, but for right now, she didn't want to jeopardize their just born realizationship. So instead of spilling her guts to him, she simply nuzzled him, and in the most loving, most sincere voice she could muster she whispered into his ear.
"I love you Heret, no matter what, I'll always love you."
