Cindy stared the man over but then the man saw Cindy looking at him and caught sight of the insignia a top her head. The man smile a wide smile and then said "Oh! A marine eh? We don't get too many of those around here. No matter, we shall exterminate you just like all the other meddlesome swine that come around here trying to stop us!" Cindy simply stared at him saying "Are you out of your mind? I literally just got here and then was shanghaied into trying to stop you and your friends in order to free all the poor people of this island."

The skunk simply chuckled and then said "I suppose so!" and with that his back began to build up and then an explosion of gas flew from his behind causing him to fly upward. "That's amazing..." Cindy said lightly. She was slightly disgusted but at the same time she practically couldn't keep her eyes off of him. Sadly for Cindy though she caught a whiff of the gas and the gas caused her to begin to lose conciousness. "Ugh...that's not ordinary gas...it's poison gas..." With that Cindy fell over in a heap on the floor next to the shop.

The Skunk then landed on the ground and looked upon all of the spectators, some of them who had passed out because of the effects of the gas. "You see that! You see that not even the forces of the marines can stop me. You all keep wishing people will come and save you but nobody can stop Skunk One! Bear King will forever reign supreme over the island and all who may inhabit it." The people just stared with fear at Skunk One. He then removed a pistol and pointed it at the two old people who had previously talked to Cindy.

"You two! I know it was you who got her to try and fight me. And for that you shall now both die!" With that he pulled the trigger and two bullets left the chamber of the gun aimed at both of them. Luckily Cindy had some sort of immunity to the gas so it didn't take her long to wake up. She woke up to the sound of gun bullets. Quickly she spit just in front of the old couple causing a huge explosion that managed to deflect the two bullets. Skunk One turned around saying "You meddlesome punk, how dare you defy me!"

Cindy got up and dusted off her coat with a wide smirk on her face. "For one, that was a cheap shot with that gas, now that I'm aware of it though I won't get caught off guard twice. Second of all I'm not a punk as you say, the only punk here would be you. I am Cindy Juusanhime, Vice Admiral to the marines and I suggest you watch your tongue." Skunk One now looked rather frightened, just as he should be. Cindy slowly began to walk towards him and right as he was about to activate his Jet Pack Cindy spat at it causing it to explode.

The Gas then exploded all over Skunk One, Cindy knew he would soon be asleep. She walked over to him and picked him up by his shirt collar and got real close in his face saying "Nobody, and I mean no one calls me a punk. Why don't you go and tell your friends that this Island is now going to be closely watching by the marines." Skunk One slowly nodded his head and drifted off into a dream land. Cindy sighed lightly and then made her hand explode sending him off towards the large Clocktower, her work here was now done.

Taro walked to the clockwork island stopping at teh main entrance and looked up at the tall building. "Ehh, I don't feel like climbing up all those stairs. Jeeze~" He then took a seat and looked up at the clouds in the sky.

Cindy was walking off of the Island dressed in a large white trench coat that reached all the way down to her boots, it covered her entire body and on the back was the Marine symbol. Her boots were polished and white. Her hat topped off the whole outfit which was white and bore the blue Marine Symbol on it. She reached into her pocket and removed a simple cigarette, she had quit smoking long a go but the stress was really getting to her. As she walked out the entrance she spotted a marine much like herself. She stopped and gave a bit of a chuckle saying "You don't really see many Marines this neck of the woods..."

Taro hard someone talking to him and turned his head to see a girl dressed in all white bearing the marine symbol on her back and just gave her a slightly dazed look. Though he wasn't as dressed up as she was, he was sporting a blue vest that was open showing a pure white tanktop under it, slightly baggy blue pants and black sandles with the marine symbol on his white shirt. "....Hey!" He stood up and looked her over real quick. "...your kinda hot. Wana get a drink?"

Cindy rolled her eyes at his comment, that was how she knew he was a marine male, they were always looking to get some. "As lovely as that sounds I'd rather not, I'm on duty after all." She really would have never gotten a drink with this man. She was just saying the on duty thing to try and get him out of her hair.

Taro stopped for a second then turned to the side and looked off away from the tower. "Figured. So your a marine too Im guessing. What's your rank?" He said trying to make conversation since she is the first other marine he has met.

"Mhm, Vice-Admiral, yourself?" Cindy said trying to make conversation with the man which she was finding rather hard at the moment. "You have any interesting weapons or abilities perhaps?"

"Uhh..." Taro stood there looking off thinking about her question for a moment. "Well, I can do this." He held his hand up to his face and turned it into ice freezeing it over changing it into ice then changed it back into flesh again. "Do you have any powers?"

Cindy smiled "A Logia eh?" and with that she backed up slightly and then slammed her foot against the floor causing an explosion. "I explode, it's what I do."

"Oh. So your a..." Taro stood there trying to remember the word for the type of fruit power she had but ended up giving up on trying to remember it and changed tehe subject completely. "Any good bounties around here? I just wana get some work done and take a nap." He said yawning.

"Not many, the West is pretty dry. Many of the high bounty pirates are moving on to bigger and better things. Aka, the Grand Line." Cindy said with a chuckle. "But it's of no matter. They couldn't ge any where to escape from me."

"Someone's confident of their skills." Taro smiled at her then jumped slightly. "Oh. I almost forgot." He said saluting her in a lazy way. "I'm Captain Taro D. Willts. My motto is 'All in the end Justice'."

Cindy chuckled at this man, almost in a way that phrase had made her forget all of his pigheadedness. "A catch phrase huh? Gotta get me one of those. Perhaps we'll meet again Captain Taro, my name's Cindy and that's all you need to know." and with that Cindy walked away towards the docks.

After Cindy left, Taro looked up at the sky noticing the position of the sun and tuned around slipping his hands into his pockets. "Darn. Time for my shift." He walked off toward the locla village to make his scheduled security run.
