Aegle gladly met Juri halfway for the kiss. As they were kissing the sun began to set and the sky turned into the colors that dye Aegle's body.

Aegle blinked, confused. She then saw the sky and chuckled. "Why thank you. But I do love the sky when it is the same as me. To me it is the prettiest sight I can see..... You however are the best and handsomest sight I'll ever see."

Aegle laughed and nudged him. "I'm sure you do." She said watching the sky grow darker, "Seems like it's almost time to go home. Mother will be worried if I'm out late at night. I told her I'd be home shortly after night fell."

Aegle giggled and began walking towards the grove that she called home. "Oh she'll be quite surprised and delighted when I show up with you."

Aegle smiled while walking close to him so she could nuzzle him. It took quite a while to get to her home and night had completely fallen by that time. She stopped before entering the trees that surrounded the little clearing that she lived in. "We're here." She said before calling out, "Mother! I'm home!"
Twilight trotted out from the trees, clearly worried. "Aegle! I thought you'd be home long before this..... Oh my!" She said finally spotting Juri, "Who is this young man?" She smiled kindly at her daughter and the male she was thinking of as her daughter's boyfriend, if not mate.

"Mother.... This is Juri," Aegle said looking at him and smiling, "He's the one I hope will be my mate."
Twilight's smile grew wider at Juri's bow and politeness. "Hello Juri. So wonderful to meet you. You know you are the first male she's brought home to me." She said hearing Aegle. She looked at her daughter pleasantly surprised. "Your mate?! Oh wait until your father hears!"

"Well...I hadn't exactly been asked about the mate part...but I am certainly not opposed. Aegle and I played together when we were children, and much of your family is in my herd."

Aegle shook her head rolling her eyes. "Yes you did say earlier that you had no problems about being my mate..... Believe it was you who said you'd be courting me." She said giving him a wink, "Mother..... Can you please hold off on finding Dad and telling him. I'd like to tell him once we've officially decided to get married."
Twilight absolutely beamed at the young couple. "So you know much of the family, don't you Juri. Well that'll make it much easier for you." She said with a chuckle, "Alright dear. I'll let you break the news to your father."
