Enjoy the randomness...
I just had a thought, I've seen these threads in the chatter box that are trying to get to one million bumps, We could start one of our own, and make it "A million Bumps for the Annual Ball." Or something. A lot of people show interest in those kinds of threads, and it would get a ton of bumps. People may not learn per say what the annual ball is, but a lot more people would know it's name.
...That is me.
I like the idea (*coughmainlybecauseIdon'thaveafacebook,twitter,youtube,etc.soI'mtryingtofindsomethingIcandotohelpcough* ninja ). Once you start those up (which, trust me, takes effort) they really catch on and a bunch of people post in them. We could even just make it a chat thread rather than a bump thread for the annual ball.
There could be information about the ball on the first page and possibly a post reserved for questions from the other people of gaia that we answer. I'll even volunteer to make it.

-raises hand- i know! we can get some of the artists (like meh) to do a funny webcomic! it can show the members of the planning comittee preparing and such, but we can make it into some sort of funny situation! as to not exaust anybody, we can take turns making them. one week its by fulanita and the other week its by merengenita and etc.

something just came up, what if another artist cannot make it? should we have the artists pm the comics to sombody a week early then input it on the due date? and if they will not be able to make it, have the next artisit fill in, or should we have some sort of "understudy artists" to fill in if they cant make it? and what if instead of a comic, somebody does funny filler art or something like that, would that be okay?

listen to me complain about my own idea o.o i would advise a little more than a week in advance, more like 2-3 weeks in advance cause it would only take a few mess ups for a week to go by!

we should make a list of the artists and another list of "understudy artists". the lists can have an equal number of people or if we dont have enough the understudys could be assigned to two people. we can have the people who draw faster or dont have to much time to have a weekly post as understudys and we can follow the list of artists in order. under each comic we can put a banner or link to the ball and a link to the older comics, since we would have to take one down every week (the first page post would be wayyyy too long if we kept the image up forever), kepping a maximum of three comics up
im just wingin it here o.o
