War is not its own end, except in some catastrophic slide into absolute damnation...
Amore flew high into the sky making sure that Rena was still holding on. "It's fine no harm done" she said smiling. There were a few stops that needed to be made before the big surprise. Azura said that she would be at the outposts surrounding the kingdom, and everyone knew where Valkenhiem would be. He was sort of hard to lose track of. Aithorn would handle what he needed to, and she could meet her father with Azura since he was usually there with a few dragon riders. Wouldn't want to ruin it by showing what her father had cooked up with Raze. For now she would show her the cool things about Alexandria she found on her numerous flights. Surrounding the main city kind of separating the city from the forest was a large waterfall. There were many bridges across it and soldiers posted at each one. Flying high she suddenly dived down below the water fall. Flying close to the water fall the dragon dipped it wing slightly in the cool water. They we close enough the Rena could dip her hand if she wanted to. Amore was looking around for something different though. finally she saw it it made a hard turn towards a dark looking cave. As soon as they entered it it lit up with strange flowers.
"They hunt insects by attracting them with the lights" said Amore smiling. "This is a very special place for me. He proposed to me here." She was so surprised when it happened and even now she blushed when remembering it. At the end of the tunnel was a light that came from the surface. Diving up she flew out of a whole that let up into the forest, and from there you could see the outpost. Slowing down she landed on the wall and stepped off helping Rena off. Her dragon rested its wings and looked at the two people stepping towards them. Azura and Cid with a few dragon knights with him. Smiling Amore waved to her father.
...It's peace that's wanted. Some better peace than the one you started with.

To love, and be loved,Rena sighed with relief when Amore held no grudge against her for the psychic thing. She truly couldn't help it, things just happened. Luckily no one ever had embarrassing thoughts around her. She didn't think she'd be able to keep the thoughts of others locked in her own mind without saying or doing something about it. The best example was Celeste's mind reading Amore's thoughts long ago. That ended up with Celeste's intervention and Aithorn and Amore ended up as a couple. That wasn't a bad result, but it proved that even if she didn't repeat the thoughts, she felt compelled to do something about it. Rena, however, wasn't sure that if she acted upon future thoughts that they would end up as well as when Celeste did it.
"It's so beautiful..." she said, letting the landscape drown out her own thoughts. She waved hi to the numerous soldiers on the bridges. They must like their duty since they got to see such a beautiful landscape every single day. Next was flying next to the water. She would have extended her hand into the water if not for the dragon. Its wing dipped into the fall sprayed a light mist upon her and Amore. It was a cool sensation that dried when they flew away from the waterfall. "Awe, that's so cute. Did he get down on one knee and everything?" she asked curiously as they reached the end of the tunnel.
Blinking to adjust her eyes, Rena let Amore help her off the dragon before seeing two very familiar people. Azura stood still with a faint hint of a smile as her armor gleamed in the sun. Cid, however, had a hearty smile upon his face as he waved back to his daughter. Shyness gripped her for a moment, but she pushed her warm smile upon her face as she ran forward and gave a hug to each of them. Azura froze in place, unaccustomed to people touching her and Cid gave her a bear hug in return. "Hello there my Queen, it is good to have you back amongst us." Azura said as she gave a slight bow to Rena. Cid shook his head as he clapped a hand on Azura's back. "You need to lighten up on the formalities Az. Not even Celeste wanted us to call her by Queen. But I do agree with Az, it's good to have you back and this time I can call you youngin'."
"I told you a million times not to call me Az." Azura stated as the two began to get into a heated discussion. Rena scratched the back of her head with a slight laugh as she watched the two. She knew not what to say and the two were currently bickering like best friends. Shaking her head, she her smile became genuine as she turned to Amore as though to ask what to do about the two. is to feel the sun from both sides.

Could you imagine how horrible things would be if we always told others...
"Yes he did" she said smiling. "He was so nervous about it too" She said that before Cid and Amore got to close. Amore laughed as she saw how Azura acted when the queen hugged her. She was probably the one who needed Rena around the most. She was heart broken after the war was over. And she knew her father more than anyone. He was wise beyond his years and simply waited for Rena to come to them. Still everyone handled sadness in their own way. Aithorn assumed the responsibility immediately, and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. She knew that Valkenhiem would want to see Rena soon. He had to make sure that she was still compatible with him. She would have to reestablish the link with her so that they could talk like they used to. They had time though. Today was to be a day of relaxation for the young queen, and she wanted to keep it that way. Amore walked up to the group after Rena had given out hugs. "I bet you enjoy it father. I sure don't let you call me that" she said smirking.
They spent some time catching up before everyone started to get hungry. They went below in the in sections of the wall. They had a kitchen where Amore knew the chef pretty well. "Hey Rita!" yelled Amore. A girl came up and greeted her. They talked a little before Amore joined Rena and the others at the table. Food was brought to them. Some other soldier were eating there as well. It was lively, but it wasn't to noisy so that you couldn't have a conversation.
...how we felt? Life would be intolerably bearable.

Darkness grows and distorts our path...Rena laughed into her hand as Cid and Azura finished their silly argument. Azura looked as close to flustered as the Valkyrie possibly could and Cid just looked like he just had the most fun one could have in a day. Walking up to Azura, she linked her arm with the Valkyrie as they headed towards the mess hall. The flight to... wherever she was took quite some time and it was already lunch. "I hope you don't mind me walking with you Azura." she said with a smile as she looked up at the Valkyrie. Azura was quite tall and even if Rena had been wearing heels, she'd still have to look up to see the woman's eyes. "I do not mind my queen." she said as she attempted a smile for the young girl.
That answer made Rena look a bit cross. She wasn't queen yet, that was Amore's position for now. To be honest, even if she was to regain that title, she wouldn't want to be called by queen. She had a name and wanted to be called by said name, not by such an indifferent title. No closeness came with it. "Azura, call me Rena. Please?" she asked with large puppy dog eyes. Cid chuckled as he watched Azura go through the spectrum of emotions between sympathy to that stubborn look to keep to protocol. Walking up to them, Cid clapped Az on the back. "Yeah Az, call her Rena."
That set off yet another argument during everyone's lunch. Dinner and entertainment, gotta love it. Sitting close to Amore in case food started to fly. The lunch went without a food fight, but it was still pleasantly odd. Everyone had memories of Celeste, but Rena had to take time to try to remember the faces around her. It was a bit overwhelming at one time. Luckily most of them gave her some space and just asked simple questions about her home on Earth. It pained her a bit since she had home sickness still, but she loved their reactions to her words about her home. Especially when it came to technology, no one understood what it was she was talking about.
'Valkenheim is near...' she thought to herself for a moment as her eyes took on a slight gray tint. It lasted only a fraction of a second, but she knew the mountainous dragon neared where she was. It wasn't often that Valkenheim moved himself, though it was never hard to find him when he did move. Rather it was surprising since she was supposed to go see him sometime today. Was he moving to her or moving away? She couldn't tell anything beyond the fact his bulbous body was moving. We must now wait for the light to reshine and guide our way.

War is not its own end, except in some catastrophic slide into absolute damnation... Amore stood up and stretched after finishing her meal. "It's about that time isn't it?" Amore said looking at Rena. Everyone nodded and smiled. Waving to everyone she walked off motioning for Rena to follow. Meeting her dragon who had been fed as well she smiled. She helped Rena on before jumping on herself and taking off when everyone one was ready.
Aithorn landed next to Cid and looked out to the dragon fleet seeing they were ready. "Glad you could do this for the queen Cid" he said smiling. Cid turned to him and smiled. He had aged well and was still as strong as he was when he was younger. Aithorn couldn't ask for any other to lead the dragon riders. "So you really think she is going to like it that much?" asked Cid crossing his arms. "We had to work over night to get the dragon's used to it." Aithorn looked out to the dragons. "Its a good thing we may have a purpose similar to it in the future. You know how Raze is with his inventions." he said smiling. Raze was crazier than his teacher was which in this case was good thing. He made their troops stronger, and even made new weapons and spells that made fighting easier. He flew off to catch up with Amore.
Amore flew right above the trees smiling the whole time. "Hold on Rena!" she yelled as she waited for the arms around her waist as a signal. She took off spinning as he dragon roared. Stopping as the flew over a lake. The dragon stopped flapping and runes on his feet began to glow. The dragon ran on the water as if it were solid. "Another one of Raze's ideas" said Amore smiling. Aithorn flew over head seeing the the girls were in position. Raising his sword it flashed signaling to Cid. The previous flashed were to tell them to start preparing. They didn't need things to call their dragons, and he hoped Rena forgot that. Cid raised his sword as the dragons all took off. Their riders held torches. It was about sunset and the sky was darkening. The riders lit fuses as they climbed into the sky. Amore had her dragon start to run as she heard the roars of the dragons. As the fuses finished rockets shot into the air releasing a beautiful display of fireworks. Amore looked back at Rena smiling. From the river they had a perfect view of the fireworks and the sunset. Valkenhiem flew through the fireworks guided by the dragon riders. Amore launched into the air again towards him. Flying between his claws and up his arm he landed on his shoulder letting off Amore so she could speak with him. "You guys have some catching up to do." she said as the fire works continued to go off. "Enjoy the show as well" She smiled knowing the only one allowed on his head was the queen. "Your the only one allowed on his head."
The crowd roared. Kestrel knew they were just tired of waiting. The main band took forever to show up. Kestrel always hated that about the famous musicians. They loved making people wait. The curtain was about to start moving. They were all ready to play. Kestrel on guitar, Lock on bass, Signa on mic, Klow on keyboard, Rok on drums, and Ragn was in charge of effects. The surprise they had for the crowd could scare them, but it would be worth it. They would just say it was amazing stage effects. The curtains parted and the crowd went wild. Rok started the song with drums as Signa got ready to sing. Kestrel came in with the guitar smiling a dark smile. They never informed the event manager of what song they were going to do or of the surprise. He was going to blow his stars out of the water. As the song got to the middle they all sang in unison.
2x: One final heart-break And blinding lights will guide our way Free us our blind state They will call us by our name...
The lights flashed and they all turned into their normal forms as the lights dimmed, and they switched songs. The stage turned demonic like the castle in the dark realm. Kestrel smiled. He was really enjoying himself. He wore armor like Signa and his hair turned white. Ofcourse he had no hat. Nothing like a little magic from Lock. The crowd loved them. They finished their song and the lights went out. Going back to their human forms they walked to the back, and the stage returned to normal. They walked passed the band who had freaked out faces on. "Good look out there. It's a tough crowd." said Kestrel smiling as he put his hat on and walked out.
...It's peace that's wanted. Some better peace than the one you started with.

I may not know what lies on the path ahead,"Is it about time to what?" Rena asked as everyone looked at her, smiled, and nodded. For a moment she wanted to freak out, after all they looked like a cult about to sacrifice her to some unknown god. But that was just the Rena with the Earth mindset. She knew in her heart that the something she didn't know from breakfast was about to become unveiled. Standing to follow, she hesitated only a moment before she ran to catch up with Amore. Another dragon ride - one of which she needed help to get onto the dragon - was short but breath taking.
As they flew, Amore began to spin the moment after her grip tightened. Not that it felt like it would help, she still felt that she would fall off the damn dragon. But once the flipping was done and she regained her bearings, the dragon started to act as though he was ice skating. 'Raze...' she thought to herself as she saw Aithorn overhead. She was beginning to wonder where he was, and now he had his sword again. But he had his dragon... Oh dear, what on Earth - she needed to stop saying that since she was off of Earth - ... what on Alexandria was going on? With the darkening sky, she had no clue what was going on until the first firework was seen in the sky.
"That is beyond beautiful..." she murmured underneath her breath as she stared up at the sky. They had gone above and beyond the fireworks show she had seen on Earth. Guess things are only better in Alexandria. And here came Valkenheim, illuminated like a god of dragons amongst the colorful array of fireworks. His presence against the edges of her mind was like a soothing balm, a reassuring presence that lifted her spirit. About to ask why she was the only one allowed on the top of his head, she bit her tongue and gave Amore a hug before starting her climb.
Rena wished she had wings since grappling against Valkenheim's scales was not an easy task. It might as well have been walking the Great Wall of Chine in heels. Oh well, she made it there eventually and stepped down onto the bridge of his nose. Turning, she sat down and stared into his large hazel eyes. They watched her with a friendly curiosity that came with knowing yet not knowing people. "Hello Valkenheim." she said as she rubbed a spot on his nose with her hand. Though it felt like a rumble beneath her, she could hear words in her head. It took a moment since it wasn't Celeste's voice, but she knew it was actually Valkenheim. Their bond had not died with the reincarnation.
"Hello my young Queen. You look like Celeste except for the eyes. Not only is there a color difference, but you still need to learn the wisdom she concealed behind her eyes." His voice said in her mind. "Time has not changed you though old friend." she said aloud as she shifted to look in his other eye. 'Celeste came to me once in a dream, warning me of another group that threatens me that isn't Pandorous. Can you explain? she asked in her mind, not wanting others to overhear her words. She didn't need anyone to be scared of fighting another entity.
Rena could have sworn she heard him sigh in her mind as he thought about how to say his words. "Rena... Celeste was a spirit of another world with Vesperus by her side. The others cast them down and created this world to keep them apart. Light and Dark. By all rights can go hand in hand, but that was not what they wanted. Wars ravaged because of their severed hearts, but in the end they died together to try to free this world from their conflict. Now you two are reborn and the conflict shall only increase. Do not fear, you and he have weapons stronger than any in their power, you just haven't figured out those weapons yet." he said as he kept a close eye on her. He needed to gauge her reaction to being enlightened to more truth than Celeste had revealed to her.
Sitting still, it took her a moment to process all that was said. In the back of her mind she knew his words were true, but she couldn't fathom why Celeste and Vesperus were sent down from wherever it was here. Why it started at the place of origin. Why to everything that happened when her life took a sharp turn. "Thank you Valkenheim, I'm sure I can count on you when I need you." she said as she stood and moved to stand next to one of his eyes. Kissing one of his scales near his eye, she patted him goodbye as she began her climb to return to Amore. The fireworks had ended and it was time to return home. She'd need to keep training so she could be reunited with Kestrel. but I do know that I will not let anyone stand in the way of my light.

Kestrel SamaelThey say that power corrupts...
Kestrel trained hard with the knights. They played concert after concert, and that proved to further Kestrels connection with Vesperus. Those powers flowed into Kestrel, and as they did Kestrel felt himself slowly losing control of his mind. The knights saw this, but did nothing. This was all apart of the plan. They would have their king back. Before this could happen the last remains of Kestrels soul fought back and took control of his body. But still deep inside of him rested a powerful king that wanted full control of his host. Little did he know Kestrel had surpassed him in power. It had been two years and he was growing into the man that would hopefully rule the world of darkness. He still couldn't believe how much he had grown. Still he worried about the state of Alexandria and Rena. He often visited it within the dreams of other people. Quietly he watched how Rena grew into a queen. Aithorn had watched over her and kept his promise.
Standing on a roof with the knight he knew that it was time to go back. He could feel that something was about to happen. Kestrel walked up to the wall forcing a portal to appear. He barely needed to think about it now. Appearing in the real of darkness he looked down from a cliff over looking the kingdom. Just like he did before he left. Smiling he looked down at it. "It will all be mine" he said. Turning they headed up towards the forest and Alexandria. It had been forever since he had seen this place in person. It was still as radiant as always. The knights walked behind him smiling. Even though they were in the light they didn't feel weakened. Their leader was a source of darkness by himself. As he neared the bridge the guards looked worried. Kestrel smiled at them. "Come on you don't remember me?" he joked. "I may have changed my clothes, but I'm still the Kestrel you know and love" The guards grunted as they stepped aside to let him through. Klow smiled sweetly at one as they stepped in. The town was as radiant as ever. No one not even Rena knew that he was returning today.
Walking near the training area a group of soldiers approached him. "We don't trust you Kestrel. Never did" said the one in the middle. Kestrel smiled at them. "This isn't the wisest group of soldiers is it?" said Signa chuckling. A soldier put his hand on Kestrel shoulder. "We remember how weak you are here Kestrel. We don't need someone like you here." he said trying to turn him around. Kestrel flashed him a yellow eye under his hat. Punching him in the stomach the man bent over, but with his fist in the man his lifted him off his feet. Then he threw him to the side. "I don't have that sort of patience for all of you..." he said smiling at the remaining soldiers. "But if you want to try as well I won't refuse." He spun a dagger out and grinned. The soldiers ran out of sight as soon as they could. Walking up to the chocolate stand he put some crystals on the table. Smiling he took a box of chocolate. "I'll pay properly this time" he said smiling. The man looked surprised, but happy.
The knights behind him though made the people feel uneasy. Walking up to the gate he was let in, but not the knights. "Just stay here you guys, and don't do anything stupid!" he ordered. Leaving them he walked into the castle and looked around. "Rena!" he shouted.
...Then absolute power must corrupt completely!

Pandorous' jaw slacked at the sight of Acedia. On the way, she had the souls that brought her there inform her of Acedia's aura. That slacked jaw and those squinted eyes could only mean one thing: punishment. After quelling her rage so that she wouldn't destroy the slim snake before her, Pandorous rose but one could see her frame vibrate from the control she exerted and the fury she restrained. After both her feet planted on the ground, she murmured something in a tongue and held her arms forward,as if pulling Acedia with a rope.
The floor beneath her slid over to Acedia and when they were face to face, the queen knelt down and leaned forward so that their foreheads touched before smacking both her cheeks and digging her fingers into her ivory skin. "Shhh," she rubbed cheeks with Acedia affectionately before grabbing her by the hair as her eyes flashed with the possible punishments she could force Acedia to endure but she regained self control, "Where is your shame, hm?" she asked with raised brows, her eyes giving away her hurt before hardening again. "Where's your PRIDE?" her voice sounded like a grated guttural grunt and it shook when she said pride. "I know the deviant's route." her hand shifted to Acedia's neck as she grew more manic, her visage falling apart. "I gave you all FREEDOM." Like a mother, she looked at Acedia as her grip broke the girl's spine only to heal around Pandorous' clutch. All of this happened within a minute and it took all the queen had not to demolish her. As she began to tug on Acedia's head to rip it off, the floor slid back to her throne and Pandorous settled for ripping a patch of hair out of the scalp, which would not grow back in the realm of light.
"Your parents will weep in your exile." She looked at her before the void of souls began binding her legs and tying her arms behind her. "Any last words?" The Queen seemed calm in her resolve, as if the worst part of the war was over. If Acedia didn't then the souls would rip a void into the realm of light and toss her treacherous hide into a well because it was the best place to get into the realm of light during the day and Pandorous didn't feel like being more creative. No, she was feeling relieved, so she rested in her chair and awaited to watch Acedia leave the realm of darkness forever. And once the souls were gone, she'd get a report on Acedia's removal from the Underworld.

Life is full of funny surprises,Two years passed and Rena grew in strength both mentally and physically. It helped that Celeste was with her the entire time. Some days one eye was blue and the other gray, showing the sharing of one body with two minds. Sometimes she even had the outline of light wings behind her back. The two worked well together to progress her training, and Celeste didn't want control over Rena. She had her time in Alexandria, now it was her new self's turn. Hopefully Vesperus would treat Kestrel the same way, but she highly doubted it. Maybe when they returned, Rena with Kestrel would help keep Vesperus's conscious at bay.
The day Kestrel returned to Alexandria, Rena was in the training area fighting against the fellow soldiers. The Seventh Sanctum was in the form of a long staff as she twirled it around gracefully, knocking down anyone who came near her. Though as they day progressed, she felt an odd foreboding in Alexandria. Something new, something she felt was unwanted. In her mind's eye, she saw a fist punch a soldier in the stomach before moving on. For some reason she couldn't see who, but she began to walk towards the entrance of the castle. Whoever it was, that's where she knew they were headed. 'Just stay calm, a focused mind is better for a tranquil society.' she thought to herself as she twirled a string with a crystal at the end of it. It too charged like the other crystals in Alexandria off of the foreign presence but it was more potent than the others if she used it against someone.
At the gate were very familiar figures that made Rena's calm facade break into the classic teenage girl grin. She saw those dastardly Knights of Sin, but quickly dismissed them. They posed no threat to her now that she had control of most of her old powers and some new. "Kestrel!" she shouted as she ran up to him. Opening her arms, she threw them around his shoulders in a tight embrace the moment she reached him. In the back of her mind, she knew she should scold him for hitting her soldier, but the old her was too happy to see him. Kissing his cheek she pulled back a bit and spoke. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming today? I would have had a room prepared for you...... What happened to your hair?!" Her smile was brilliant as her fingers played with his new locks. but that's only if you're open to receive them.

Kestrel SamaelThey say that power corrupts...
He had a few moments of quiet before he heard his name yelled. Rena shoved through the knights and hugged him. He hugged her back and smiled. "I wanted it to be a surprise Rena! As for the hair it happened gradually as I became more connected to Vesperus, but I kind of like it now." he answered. Klow made a face at Signa and tried to sneak over to Kestrel and Rena. Signa knocked her over the head and dragged her back. "Not on your life" Signa said to Klow. Kestrel looked at Rena. "You have got just a little bit taller" he said smiling. "I wonder if you have gotten any stronger." He had become almost as battle hungry as Vesperus. But this was still Kestrel talking. He knew that now Rena was probably the only one able to go toe to toe with him. He could beat Aithorn without even trying. "How about a spar Rena? It would be a good way to show each other just how strong we have gotten" he offered.
Aithorn came by with Amore. "What's with all the yelling?" he said laughing. "Welcome back Kestrel." he said. Looking at Aithorn he smirked as one of his eyes glowed purple. "Nice to see you too Aithorn" he answered. Aithorn was just as anxious to see how strong Kestrel had become, but something about that look told him the this boy was dangerous now. Kestrel had been inside of Aithorn's dreams as well. He saw that he wasn't getting any stronger. That disappointed the Vesperus in Kestrel. Looking back at Rena he smiled. "So how about it? I'll go easy" Aithorn crossed his arms. "Sounds like a good idea. It will be like a final exam Rena. I think We have trained you long enough. Show this knuckle head what you got!" said Aithorn. "Let's go to the trai-" Kestrel cut him off. "Not big enough. If you want a true demonstration you should let them fight in the place of origin" said Vesperus. "Ofcourse Rena would win if they fought here" Aithorn nodded. "You're right. Alright well go there after lunch." he said. Kestrel's stomach growled. "Sounds like a plan to me!"
Vesperus had no trouble taking control of Kestrel in small bursts, but what he wanted was all of it. That way he could take his place as the king once again. In his opinion there was no way that Kestrel could ever use his powers to the fullest. He would continuously strengthen his connection to Kestrel until he had full control. The knights of sin had done their job well, and no one had noticed a thing.
...Then absolute power must corrupt completely!

The highest proof of virtue is"Well however it came about, I love your new hair." Rena said with a laugh as she kept playing with his hair. She truly did like it, though her hand faltered a moment as she caught sight of the Knights of Sin. Her attention was brought back to him as he mentioned her current height. "I know, I had to re-tailor the clothes again." Pulling away from him just a bit, she took in how much he grew before looking down at her old body. Should they ever return fully to their old lives, no one would ever believe their transformation stories, even if their lives depended on it.
Body rigid for a moment, she closed her eyes a moment before smiling at him. She was about to reply to the idea of a spar but Aithorn happened to walk in at that time. No matter, everyone should be able to see the new Kestrel... or Vesperus. One eye turning gray, Celeste inside Rena began to survey the boy Rena's arms were around. Though her face smiled and showed no change, she couldn't help but keep thinking as the boys spoke. "Kestrel, I really don't want to. Fighting with no purpose to the extent Ves... you suggested is not beneficial in any way. But if you so wish a spar, I shall spar but not with great power. Is that all right?" she asked as she looked up at him with now two blue eyes.
Celeste was rigid, her hopes dashed for Vesperus. How can her love still be so thirsty for power? He was, after all, dead and stuck inside the mind of Kestrel. But to force him to the back while he spoke was to leave the new mind from learning of the world. They had their chance, how dare he take the chance given to them away from Kestrel? Rena, taking a deep breath, tried to calm Celeste. Too much thinking on Celeste's part gave Rena a slight headache which she did not need. Her mind had to be at peace if she were to concentrate and focus on the sparring match ahead of her. to possess boundless power without abusing it.

Kestrel SamaelThey say that power corrupts...
They all went to the dining hall and at lunch. "Celeste why do you always have to quiet my fun?" said Vesperus. "I know it's you in there." Kestrel focused deeply pushing him out. "Sorry about that Rena. It's getting harder to keep him out" he said laughing. "He's like an annoying older brother! And ya I don't mind if we take it easy." Kestrel finished his food taking his time for once. He wasn't as anxious to fight as Vesperus, but he still wanted to test out his new skills. Kestrel was able to keep Vesperus out of his mind for the rest of lunch so that they could all eat in peace. Something was different today. Kestrel could feel it. He wasn't usually this forceful. After lunch Kestrel walked up to a wall. Stomping he slid his foot drawing a circle. "This will take us there" he said as he walked into it. He had become rather good at making portals, and he had been to the place of origins during his training once so he knew the way there.
Everyone stepped through and they made their way to the center. A large crater had slowly began to heal. This was were Vesperus and Celeste had their final battle. "It seems a little weird being her again." said Kestrel. He looked at Rena and smiled taking a stance opposite of her. "Good luck" he said smiling. Aithorn and Amore stood a little ways away so they didn't get caught up in the fight, but could still see the fight. Kestrel absorbed a large amount of darkness from the area and red energy seemed to ooze out of him. He would wait until Rena was ready before he began to attack. Vesperus was at that time saving up energy to fight as well. He would wait for the right moment.
...Then absolute power must corrupt completely!

When the darkness bounds us to lost memories..Just as the woman entered and held her emotionless gaze towards her queen a sense of danger loomed everywhere within the very room.Holding her composure Acedia took a deep breathe to prepare for what was bound to happen.Being pierced in the shoulder was for sure not the only thing that Pandorous wanted to do to her for betrayal, there was something more.
Before she could pull her eyes away from the queen they focused on the face directly in front of her.She knew something painful was going to occur so why flinch? Her purple eyes still holding on hers as though ready to take what was coming for her.Next thing she knew she let out a painful yelp as the demons fingers dug into her face. The sound of Pandorous and her affectionate responses gave her thoughts a wake up call to a point that she tensed up completely. As her long white hair was pulled she groaned in pain as she winced. The first time she has ever felt the wrath of the queen was long ago but she knew Pandorous wouldn't be so kind to her this time.Acedia knew responding to her queen in as such a state as hers that it would kill her instantly.Even with the severe pain she knew how to think straight enough to keep her mouth shut.
Just as her eyes shifted back to the insane woman's eyes Acedia felt burning fingers wrap around her neck.Right as she felt her spine break Acedia let out a dreadful scream of agonizing pain. Her breathing grew heavier as her heart beat quickened its pace and she stared down into those maniacal eyes. The once emotionless face grew into a tortured expression but showed know signs of mercy. This assassin knew she had done wrong, but why did it feel right to save the king?..Acedia's body only felt limp of what seemed like electrical shocks in her queens grip and the woman could tell she was expecting a punishment. When anything could get worse she whimpered as her hair was ripped from her head. There was nothing she could do now to help herself.
With her deep breathing and suffered face Acedia looked around the room.It was like she was taking one last look at the world she lived in,soaking up last memories. Those piercing eyes giving out to a dazed sight her strong will still held enough strength to stare straight into the queen's eyes. 'This is the end..' she thought.Holding what was left of her in her heart and mind she showed she had nothing to say. What could she say? "I will be thy blade in the dark. Now that I have been broken I cannot be of use..I am now only to walk amongst the dead within your eyes." she stated with short breaths between. She referred to the promise she made to Kestrel but Pandorous did not know of such thing, and therefore without the queen realizing Acedia pronounced her loyalty to the rightful king Vesperus but also her end of her fighting days to the queen's side.To Pandorous she was talking like either a poet of a bumbling idiot. ..it never makes us any stronger.

Mysterious WomanAs Acedia appeared in the realm between the dark and light the woman looked upon her with no expression. "What a strange demon you are. One with loyalty only to one. Even if that one person is weak." she circled Acedia. She didn't seem to make a sound as she walked. "It has already been two years since your exile, but it seems like nothing doesn't it? Too scared to approach the light..." she said. Her voice was cold and without emotion. She didn't even seem to exist there. "Oh how you have suffered...and you will continue to suffer." she continued. She disappeared for a moment. Then two hands were placed on Acedia's shoulders. "Pandorous has given you to me, but I don't have a use for you not yet. I could always just wipe you from existence and recycle you...but that seems a little rushed. Perfection takes time..." She walked past Acedia and back to the middle of the room. Raising both hands and smiling the ground began to glow. The image of space appeared around them. "Doesn't it make you feel small, and meaningless? To know that you are only a small part of what makes this Universe." the woman chuckled. "Let's see how you do. I'll give you what you want. Fight for the realm of light. They won't be accepting. Then we will see if the choice you made was the right one..." She snapped her fingers and Acedia was transported smack dab in the middle of Alexandria. The towns folk started to slow down noticing the new demon in town. "Did she come here with Kestrel?" said a woman but the one that brought her there was no where to be found.
