Ash chcukled and relaxed some, her hand moving slightly away from the bow. She sat back down and observed the energy patterns that were knitting themselves back together.

Arannis raised himself to standing, taking note of the sudden entries. He looked to Kyouna, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Then I presume you must be Kyouna?"
He turned to Ryn, his face expressionless.
"And what, if I dare ask, brings you here?"

Getting up on her back legs, Kyouna brought her hands up to hold onto Arannis' shoulders before licking his cheek. The wolf-girl's tail continued to wag in excitement.

Ash laughed lightly and stood up, feeling the energy of the Sanctuary. She watched Ryn carefully, her hand staying close to her bow. She went back and sat on the base of the statue with obisidan wings with rubies.

Arannis looked back to Ash for a moment.
"Not everything is as it appears, Ash. Just as I often wonder if I am who I always wished to be, I imagine I am not alone in that regard."
He turned back to Kyouna, eyes showing all too much understanding that the wolf at his side was not merely instinctual.
"You do realize, don't you... that I prefer to be able to communicate both ways, no?"

She barked happily and gave him one more lick on the cheek before releasing him. Kyouna sat at Arannis' feet contentedly.
"I figured that much. It may take a little bit of time for me to remember how human-like species interact. That was my way of a greeting."
She grinned, showing her sharp teeth before turning to see Ryn. Her ears lowered slightly, but she smiled all the same.
"Ryn! You found me!"

Ash looked curiosly at the Lycan again before the pain in her chest became almost unbearable. She rubbed at it silently, willing it to leave as it had since she had become a Demoness. It finally began to subside and Ash relaxed.

Ignoring the man, he looked over to Kyouna and waved slightly.
"Or it seems you've found me, little Kyouna. I take it your brother isn't too far off, is he?" he said, walking towards the werewolf.

Her ears flattened and she cringed slightly at the mention of her brother.
"Please don't tell him where I am, please, please, please...."
Circling around, she hid herself behind Arannis, clinging onto his legs. She stared out at Ryn, clearly giving him a sad puppy look.

"You have no worries from me, Kyouna. Remember, I'm no longer on that vile council. I am marked for death, remember? I won't be saying anything to him. You have my word."
He smiled some, beckoning her to come closer.

The wolf-like creature hesitated, not willing to move from her spot. A low whimper rose from her as her hands tightened their hold around Arannis' legs. She nuzzled her cheek against his leg.

Arannis looked to Ryn.
"So, you have left the Council? What will you do, then? I pray we do not find the same upon us as had been all those years ago."

Ash looked curiously at Arannis before attempting to standnup. She coughed and bent over slightly, the pain in her chest bringing tears to her eyes. "I'm fine," She coughed out before drawing fire to her. It eased the pain and she let out a sigh. "I would love to invite you to the castle for some dinner, would you care to join?" Ash said.

Ryn looked at the man now, with a disgusted look.
"I don't even know who the hell you are, let alone how you know about Aelor. So, go back to that odd woman whom keeps talking to you."
He turned his gaze to Kyouna.
"Seriously, you know I'm not going to harm you. You act like I'm going to destroy the world or something."
