Wyvern Knight Never been to Georgia, or the east side of the nation. So sorry. ninja Anyway, do think teh Python posted earlier before is a good gun? fun but if youve veer shot a magnum its not exactly great its loud, heavy, and only holds round 6 or 5 shots, plus its big and easily cought on something but if ya hit something with it, they are going to stay down in terms of home defense the best gun is the .38 special revolver, and in terms of target shooting, the ammo is cheap if your going to battle get somehting with alot of ammo, the best large caliber battle handgun out yet is the springfield xd chambered in .45 check it out

What weapons would YOU pick for fire teams? Here are a couple of my combinations:
Standard Combat Rifle: M16/M4 series. If possible, fit them with a Trijicon ACOG or EOTech HOLOsights, maybe even pistol grips. They're tried and true, and I don't see very many weapons that can replace them.
DMR: You don't need one for such a small group
PDW: P90 or MP7A1. They're small, compact... and could even be as lethal as they claim to be. I have to say that vehicle crews will probably recieve minimum in their PWD's use, so I'd pick the latter: it's simpler. But if they're ineffective, the MP5N gets my vote.
Sidearm: M1911A1 series, preferably customized. IF their hands are large enough. If not, Glocks, USPs, or P7s (preferably the M13 model)
Squad Automatic Weapon: M-249 SAW
My other combo:
M16A4 with HK upper and steel magazines DMR: None (just like the above and the fact is that fireteams don't need a designated marksman) M4A1 New build M1911A1 with better sights than the old issue Fireteams don't have a LMG, so I would still stick with the M-249 SAW.

The thing I like about revolvers, is that they NEVER jam, they look badass, and unless your in some kind of de-militarized zone 6 shots will do the trick.
