Revan Star Aenakume DeirdreTonbo I don't think obscene snow sculpture is arrest-worthy, but that's just me. You're not thinking big enough. ^_^ I'm thinking graphic and detailed images of lusty sexuality done in snow at the size of at least twice your height. Think... BIGGER. And actually, what we got in trouble for wasn't the smutty ones, it was the one hanging over the sidewalk. DeirdreTonbo Driving home today I thought about making a borrowers type RP. You don't seem to be short on ideas, you seem to be short on people. ^_^;

That's what I keep telling her, Aena. I've got a couple of random ideas sitting on the back burner, but they sort of require bodies in them. More than me and D, that is.

Ya, I'd love to help, but recruiting was never my scene. Actually, I was the one who manned the gates and kept the riff-raff out, so you could say I was actually a negative recruiter.

Yeah, I know we're low on people, not ideas. (and when I HAVE people I'm usually low on time not ideas) BUT no one wants to join a guild with one active RP.
This is why I run thoughts through you guys to see if I can get a game that has and easier time of adding people to it than the Firefly game currently does? I mean we can totally figure out how to work someone in.
The secret to more people is more activity but we only get more activity with more people? *lol* It's a vicious circle.

There's always the Homeward Bounders game I was talking about last night. But...yeah. It's not hard to add people to the ship. They land in port and pick up new people. Hell, they even land in port something like every other week-ish at the rate we're moving.

If you're just looking to create RPs that can pick up people quickly, you should just go with the old standards - perhaps with minor twists, but nothing that requires too much from the players. You should wait to design more complicated and inventive roleplays when you actually have people around, not just so they can fill them, but also so you actually have people around to properly gauge interest.

I worry that people were thrown off by SCHOOL IN SPACE. St Al's is a pretty good school too. Your twins would fit in just fine there, too. It's the one I mentioned with the locked belltower
