She shivers in delight, forgetting that she had intended only a short tender kiss as she sucks on Naruto's tongue in her mouth, flicking it lightly with her own. Rikku tugs lightly on his tail, tightening how they are wrapped together. In an attempt to get even closer she wraps her legs around one of his & presses happily closer.

Naruto feels a familiar jolt hit him again and he quickly stops the kiss, pulling away from her lest she find out exactly how she affected him. He rolls to his side, shuddering just a little as he tries to get his body back under control.

Letting herself roll off of the ninja she looks at him with hurt & confusion in her green eyes. "Ruto? I'm sorry... did I do something wrong?"
Rikku was confused. She felt so right & every iota of her being was aching for more. Tentatively she touches his shoulder, hoping he will not pull away & terrified something within her will break if he does. "Please... please... I just... with you..."
Her voice was barely above a whisper already & it dropped softer still. "oh, Ruto... I always seem to want more...!"

Naruto curls up a little, trying to fight back his excitement that won't go away, but he reachs up and puts his hand over Rikku's when she touchs his shoulder, whispering softly, "You didn't do anything wrong. It's just....I feel so damn good when I'm with you....and I can't get enough. And I'm scared I'm going to do something....or you will feel something....and I don't want to go away....cause... He squeezes his eyes shut, hoping his body will calm down and he can roll back over to hold Rikku again.

He did not pull away. Rikku let out a sigh of relief she had not known she was holding. "So do I." She frets a little that he curls up more, wanting only to hold him -just to comfort him- but clearly sensing that the shinobi needs his space right now.
"I don't want to go away either..." Gently -with no intention other than to console- Rikku lets her arm drape over his collarbone, resting her head tenderly on his should as she curls aound his back with the barest of touches. She does not press at all, just lightly touches. "But I don't know why. Do you?"

Naruto shakes his head, feeling his body finally calm down, even though it still feels hot with Rikku touching him, at least he doesn't have the urge to....what is this urge anyway? He pushes it away for now, not wanting to think about it, "I don't know...I am not sure what it is. It can't be bad though..." he whispers, letting his body uncurl slightly, reaching a hand up to rub Rikku's arm.

Rikku sighed happily into his shoulder, only slightly caring that they did not know what was happening. Key on her mind was the fact that Naruto was once again in her arms & that she was blissfully happy with that. "That's for sure... I feel too good for it to be anything bad."
The thief smiled & closed her eyes, just breathing in his scent. "I never thought I could be so happy, just lying still."

Naruto sighs happily, closing his eyes as a blissful smile goes across his muzzle, "Me too...usually I am bored out of my mind if I am not moving. But with you, it's different for some reason....I can't explain..." he whispers, his tail moving about to drape itself over her legs.

"I don't know if I'm bored when I'm not moving... I just seem to always be moving." She flipped her tail lightly on top of his & snuggled softly against his back. "There's just so many things I want to do & if I slow down, it's like I won't have time."
The hyper femme giggled softly. "Wakka used to say I had too much energy. That's why I was always bouncing. I've tons of energy right now, but I don't feel like bouncing."
"I can't explain it either, Ruto. Maybe there is no explanation. Maybe it just is." Her voice never rises above a whisper, but the gentle love infused in it would be obvious to anyone except the two 'friends'.

Naruto can't stop the tiny pang of jealousy when Rikku mentions this Wakka guy. What a weird name and how did he know if Rikku had too much energy? "You must have made friends with alot of guys back in your world..." he whispers, but there is a very tiny tinge of bitterness and jealousy there, his blue eyes narrowing.

The friendly female does not quite catch the note of bitterness in her friend's voice. She snuggles into him, smiling. "I guess. Once they got past me being an Al Bhed. Wakka almost wouldn't let me join Yunie as a guardian." She gave a sigh. "I suppose I can't really blame him, since up 'til then I'd been trying to stop her. I just didn't want her to die, like her father High Summoner Braska had for his Calm." A tear slips from her eyes, missing her cousin, & she wipes her cheek on Naruto's fur. Then she smiles softly. "But Sir Auron was cool about it. Even after making me take off my goggles & show him my eyes!"
"But then he would be... having been with Yunie's dad at the end. Not many knew it, but Yunie's half Al Bhed too." Rikku did not know why she kept talking. Probably to keep herself from kissing him. It seemed each time they kissed he pulled away, & she would rather not kiss than lose his touch.

Naruto's blue eyes go wide when she mentions someone named Auron looking into her eyes and another wave of jealousy hits him. What was up with all these guys looking at Rikku, couldn't they look somewhere else, didn't she have more girls that were her friends too! At least he didn't have to worry about Tidus when Moochi brought him and Yuna home. "So I'm guessing your cousin must have trained for a long time become a summoner..." he whispers softly, wanting to get the subject off all these guys he didn't know about and probably didn't want to know about.

"Yeah. The Trials of the Fayth were hard for her. I wasn't the only one who tried to stop her at first. Wakka & Lulu practically raised her on Besaid... they said they tried to stop her... it was hard to believe for so long. But they really do love her. Like a sister I guess." Tears were softly starting to fall. She missed her cousin. The others had been a part of her life too, but Yuna... Yuna in particular was special to her. "Yunie had so much love... she was willing to sacrifice herself for everyone. She knew her time was short, if she was to find the final aeon & defeat sin... I think that's why she had so many guardians. Why Lulu let her bring Tidus along although they just met... & why Sir Auron convinced the others -even Khimari- to let me join too. Because we all thought it was going to end with her dying. We wanted her time to be filled with love... with happiness... with all of those who cared about her." It hurt even to think about it. Even though it had not happened, the memory of that fear was still there, buried behind her bubble-y shell.
"Only Tidus didn't know. How could he? & How could we know that by finding a way to save Yunie & beat Yu Yevon & Sin forever that he would fade away? Or that Sir Auron was an Unsent too?" Soft sobs gently shook her & her grip tightened ever so lightly.
"Watching Yunie fall through Tidus was about the saddest thing I ever saw!" What was it with Naruto bringing these memories to the surface? "I think... I think I'm terrified one day I'll wake up & you'll be a dream too, Ruto. No one has ever been so kind to me... just me! Not one of High Summoner Yuna's Guardians, not an Al Bhed! With you I'm just Rikku. I don't know if I could be as strong as Yunie, if I lost you."
Even though she was making the comparison between them, she still did not see that perhaps she loved Naruto as Yuna loved Tidus. Her thoughts glazed over it, touching on other somehow more pressing things as she clung to his back & cried softly.

Naruto silently listens as Rikku tells of Yuna's training and the fact she would have sacrificed herself to save her world. He was pretty sure if it was Morgana or Miranda or Rikku, he would probably force them away, to make sure they wouldn't ever do such a thing, cause he knew his heart would break if he lost them.
He feels his own tears well up in his eyes as Rikku spills her fears of seeing Yuna pass through Tidus and then saying how scared she is that he will be just a dream and she will lose him as well. His own fears seem to surface, the fear that Rikku will see him for a monster and leave him alone. That she would disappear and he would never see her again. He wasn't sure his heart could take any of it, and doesn't feel the tears slip down his face.
He pries Rikku's arms from around him, but he quickly turns around to face her, wrapping her in a tight embrace, burying his face into her shoulder as he cries himself, whispering against her fur, "I wouldn't let that happen. And even if it did, I would find a way to get back to you. I would fight through hell and back, just so we can be together again." He nuzzles her shoulder, trying to fight back his own sobs. She didn't seem to see him as some loud-mouthed trouble maker, a Hokage-wannabe or a demon carrying vessel. She just saw him for him. And he was damn thankful for that.

After a brief second of panic, Rikku holds the ninja tightly to her. She feels his tears & strokes his hair. "Oh, Ruto... "
She is still crying, but the sobs are less. Just tears softly rolling down her cheeks as the thief consoles him in return. "That means so much to me... you mean so much to me."
Tilting her head Rikku kissed his hairline gently where Naruto's ninja band usually covered.
