Mafa was quite caught off guard with the random gesture of Tukutu, she was none too sure about it so she gave him her best glare and raised her jowl, a low growl came from her throat showing Tukutu that she was not too happy about this. She slipped out from under his paw and slinked over to Banzai and grinned up at him. Finally, no more distractions! They were going to find her mom and they were going to do it soon, surely there wasn't anything out there that could distract them! She beamed at him,

"I guess we should get going no?"

((I didn't have anything special to direct at Kicheko. I don't think he gives a damn if you're parents are dead. I'll be sure to give him a spanking for that. >.>))

Banzai's gaze went to Mafa again. He plumped his bum down, causing some bones to jump. "Yeah, sure, we can go now. Unless you wanted to say good bye to your little friends... "

He figured she would. She would probably never see them again, whether she knew it or not. He would probably never see them again either, which he was glad for. He didn't bother to look back at them, but simply point his tail in their general direction. Then it flopped back onto the ground, startling only dust, and not bones.

Busy with wiping the saliva off of himself, Tukutu let Mafa slip from under his grasp. Once he looked up again, he could see that Banzai slinked off away from him, taking Mafa with him. He snarled towards the other male. How dare he just stroll up like that and shove him down?
The hairs of the back of his neck began to rise. That lowlife wasn't going to get away with it. No way. He snarled with more ferocity than before, and fluffed his bristled fur up more to give a larger appearance to himself.

"Don't go wid 'im, Mafa. He ain't gunna find no one 'round 'eres. He jest wants ta get yew alone to eet yew. He even said that 'bouts us two over 'ere."

Tukutu inched his way closer to Banzai, still angry, but a kick of nervousness was settling in.

((Oh crap, sorry. I missed the sentence where Tukutu throws his paw around Mafa. *Goes to edit, and then will come back to edit this.* @.@))

Mafa snorted and looked to Banzai, who was now sitting next to her,

"Why would I wanna say good bye? They really don't care, they aren't the ones that'll help me find mom!"

She huffed and looked toward Tukutu, he was starting to lighten up, she was starting to feel guilty or leaving him, that stupid mongrel had grown on her. But no, she had to be tough, other wise, she'd never make it out here and they'd never find her mom and she'd be alone forever, surely Banzai wasn't going to stick around. She glanced back to Tukutu with a glance that said 'sorry' and then turned back to Banzai and whispered,

"Come on... Lets get outta here..."

((Lol... no worries... I dun think Kicheko cares too much about her mother being dead (had no father >.>; ) xp ))

Observing very carefully, she still did not think that Mafa was all that Tukutu had made her out to be. Kicheko snorted a bit, "She's about as fun as a stick in the mud..." However, Tukutu seemed to be getting worked up over the other female pup, nearly protective in a way.

However, being the pup she was, she was easily distracted. The bones that surrounded the adult were very tempting, nearly calling out for lil' ol' Kicheko to gnaw on them. Suddenly ignorant to all the drama going on, the red-eyed pup promptly trotted over to the bones, and clamped onto a rather large one with her teeth. She then attempted to pull it back to where she was originally, but the bone was too heavy. So instead of moving forward, the pup moved nowhere.

The little lion had seemed to have lost his way after fighting with his older sibling over something completly pointless. He'd felt bad after a few minutes, but the thing was, in all of his furious haze, he had gotten himself lost! How long had he been wandering? A day maybe. All Taabadu knew was that he was hungry, and this didn't seem like the place to get meat..... he guessed a sun charred bone would have to be sufficient. He pawed one gently, weak and emaciated. His soft mouth suckled it a bit. He wandered if anyone would come looking for him, or if anyone even cared....probably not.

Suddenly, his ears perked up at a high pitched....almost laughing...noise. He suddenly ducked and flicked his ears back, growling softly.

Hyenas! This could only mean one thing, a cruel and unusual death. Why was this happening to him? Again the laugh shrilled, and Taabadu closed his eyes tightly, almost level with the ground. He was shivering violently, bones rattling slightly. Anyone with ears could've heard him...

And of course, Banzai had better hearing than a rabbit. He wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible, though he could clearly see Mafa wasn't as tough as she wanted to be. She must already think the little male a friend. Tough cookies.

Scooping up Mafa by the scruff of her neck his teeth, he leapt off towards the sound of rattling bones without a word to the other pups. He could smell already that it wasn't a hyena. Soon he could see what it was- Another lion. What was this, the new pride lands? By now he was just plain fed up with all of these lions tresspassing into the lands he was kicked into. It wasn't right...

He skidded to a halt as he found the lion. He openned his mouth, letting Mafa drop to the ground in front of him. He spat out angrily, without humor. There was nothing funny about this. "Get out!"

Mafa was caught by surprise as Banzai grabbed her up and carried her off, she wasn't used to this, nor was it a comfortable postion, but it would have to do. She saw that some thing had caught Banzai's attention. For a moment she stopped wiggling and took a sniff of the scent. It was a lion. She spazzed and ran behind him, cowering behind the adult, shaking madly. She had looked up long enough to notice the small lion cub, she'd have to be careful if she didn't want to get eaten.

Taabadu bared his puny little teeth at the hyena. It didn't help much. Tail between his legs he slowly stood up.

"Puh..please, I will leave you alone if maybe you could spare some meat? Just a little something for my journey home?" He asked quite meekly. He saw the little fuzz ball quivering behind the adult Hyena. He peered at her and laughed,

"What are you afraid of? I hardly think I'm in a position to harm you, in fact, I should be the one quivering!" He scoffed and looked back up at the adult. He just noticed how badly his paws ached, as they were cut up from his long misadventure. Taabadu subconsciencely gave a small mew and stared at the adult pitifully.

Banzai growled. He wasn't very happy at all. What's the big idea? Is the graveyard the new pauper hang out? "Listen." he said sternly. "Why in the world would you come into this barren wasteland asking for food? Are you that big an idiot!? If you want to go back to your lucious green land, I will kindly make sure that I kick you all the way there myself, but as long as you're here, I ain't gonna have the decency to treat you as a living creature."

His mouth was foaming with saliva now, which he spat out near the brave cub. He soon became aware of Mafa, quivering behind him. He looked down at her annoyed. "The kid has a point, kid. He's not gonna hurt ya, he's a whimpy little groveling lion! Now why don't you come out and say hello to the ball of fuzz while you still can?"

Taken aback by the abrupt leave of Banzai and Mafa, Tukut spat onto the ground and turned to face Kicheko. He noticed that she wasn't pay munch attention, so he huffed out and slowly made his way up an elephant's chest to reach the skull. All he wanted to do now was sleep. And grudge against everything.

Mafa's small puppy teeth were chattering together in fear as she slipped out from behind Banzai, to his side where she was closer to this lion. She leaned close to Banzai, her whole body pressedd against his one big leg, if anyone one could take down a lion, it was Banzai, Mafa was sure of it. She smiled meekly at the cub and looked at his eyes, boy were they weird, a strange cyan like color, kinda like water. She looked up to Banzai, her face pleading for them to move on, she really didn't want to say anything to the cub but if she had to, she would,

"H-hi, who are y-you? You'd-d better listen to B-Banzai while you s-still can..."

She nodded lightly to confirm her words and then stepped back a bit.

Finally giving up on the bone, Kicheko turned around to find everyone had vanished. Gramps, Mafa, and Tukutu. Inhaling deeply, Kicheko could still smell Tukutu a bit. The other two were nowhere within her smelling distance.

Kicheko bit her lip and whined a bit. "nobody likes lil' ol' Kicheko..." she complained. The red eyed pup began to pace once more, rather seriously this time. Her tail drooped as she thought to herself Should I go look for Tukutu... or should I leave 'im alone. One the one paw, he was nice to me, and any company is better than none. On the other paw, if he liked me, he woulda stayed around... As these thoughts played with her mind, Kicheko's ears flattened a bit and she began to kick up some dust, though she was quite unaware that Tukutu had just taken residence in the elephant skull behind her.
