Kaleb was only tugged around for a bit before he sped up to match Vivace's pace. "Perhaps we could check a grocery store? They usually sell all sorts of candy."

He nodded. "after we look for a real candy store." Who knows there might have been one around that Kaleb hadnt seen so he had a chance. "Or maybe a toy store...thoes thigns usually have a big candy section cause kids like candy and kids go in toy stores"

Kaleb couldn't remember if there were any toy stores in the area either, but then again, he hadn't ever been entertained by most toys. Even as a child, books had been his thing. "You think we'd be able to find a toy store?"

He nodded enthustically against. "Yea .. there's enough stores around here that there's a good chance that there's a toy store too. All shopping places should have one just cause it makes sence to have places to buy toys for kids and stuff after parents have drug the kids around looking for clothes."

"I-I guess you're right," he said with a smile, and turned his attention to looking for a likely place. Vivace seemed to know what he was talking about, so the mage figured he'd trust his friend on this.

Eventualy he spotted a colorful sign. "SEE! I was right!" It wasnt a candy store but it was a toystore and there was a case of candy in the window. "They have to have candy in there if they have that much just in the window"

Kaleb blinked a couple times. He was sure he had been down that street before, but he was also pretty sure he had never even noticed that shop. He really needed to keep his nose out of his books while he walked if he was that oblivious. "W-we're going to go in?" he asked hesitantly, following just a step behind Vivace.

"Do you not want to go in." He tilted his head as he turned his head to look at Kaleb. "We dont have to go inif you dont want to but i though we could maybe find some candy and Father gave me some money and sugar is good so ... but if you dont want to go in we dont have to"

Kaleb blushed a bit, he hadn't meant to sound so edgy about it. "N-no, w-we can go in. We should go in." He felt a little nervous at the thought of entering the toy store, since it was quite a foreign place to the small mage, but sticking close to Vivace's side seemed to help a bit.

He smiled again and tugged Kaleb toward the door. "I'll keep you safe from all the squish fluffy squeaking toys and stuffs." The door chimed as he pushed the door open and nudged Kaleb. "They do have candy! Lots of it too and its all sorts of colors!" He pointed at a corner of the shop filled with all sorts of candies ment to keep kids entertained.

Kaleb blushed a bit more, but he didn't resist the little nudges or try to move away any. Once inside, the first thing he noticed was the colours, all over the games and toys, and the candy Vivace was eagerly pointing towards. "Wow..." He said, glancing around with an innocently curious expression.

Smiling at the shop keeper he tugged Kaleb past shelves of toys and toward the candy. "See .. toy stores are fun cause they're all colorful and happy and full of fun stuff" Letting go of Kaleb he went digging though a bucket of candy and pulled out two tubes full of brightly colored gooey liquid. "Look! I Bet this would almost glow in the dark!"

Kaleb passively let himself be pulled towards the corner with the candy, trying to look at everything at once as he passed the shelves of toys. For his first time in a toy store, one could say he was handling it quite well.
Once Vivace let go of him, Kaleb's interest was caught by some containers full of translucent fish-shaped gummies until his friend's exclamation demanded his attention. He tilted his head a bit as he looked at the candy Vivace held up, his expression a mix between utter curiousity, confusion, and a bit of suspicion. "That's candy too?"

"Yea .. its this sweet sour gooey stuff." He tilted the little bottle and the candy moved around much like honey. "Its really good .. like a melted gummybear or something. Only it sour too."
He pointed at the fish that Kaleb had been looking at. "Want some of thoes too? They look like they'd be fun to play with before you eat them!"

Kaleb would never have expected candy to come in a form like that, but there wasn't really any reason why it couldn't. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of something sour, but he would probably have to try the stuff before making a decision.
He glanced back over at the fish gummies, and then back to Vivace with a bit of a blush. "N-no, I'm fine, I-I was just looking..."
