She briefly recalled her previous card playing experience with a sigh.
I don't think it would be a good idea...he might recall his friends as we play, at the Underground...and I don't want him to be homesick for them.
She said, "No thanks...I'm not in the mood for cards I guess." She got up and stretched about, her back cracking as she did.
"Ahh" She murmured, cracking her knuckled and elbow as well.

"Oh... ok... ummm well..." He was out of ideas... he went back into the bathroom, the clothes were damp but he needed to get out so he pulled them on anyways and went back out dressed "What would you like to do?"

"I...I'm not even sure." Suddenly, as she stood up, she felt a bit dizzy. "Ah, I feel like I ought to lie down for just a moment." She stretched out on the bed. "Maybe I'm coming down with something." She murmured, facing away from Eric.

He rubbed the back of his neck, she seemed to be out of it a bit "Anything I can do for you?"

He nodded standing there a moment deciding what to do, then he left the room grabbing one of his daggers and his purse on the way out. He went into town and browsed the shops. He bought a small bottle of wine, some fruits, a bag of dried cranberries, and some meat to make a small dinner. He returned to the inn, but didn't go to the room, he asked the owner if he could use the kitchen to make the dinner and the man gruffly agreed. Eric set about making a meager, but nice dinner and then packed it into a basket it. He was gone for about two and half hours.

"Yeah.I would give anything for this all to just stop.It's annoying with the thought of your comrades dieng and your people suffering." he said looking back at the sky. "I don't really like fighting, but I would if I had to.But I don't see a reason to fight any one." Avel stared up at him for a second. This certainly changed her perspective of the Mael nation. If they ALL didn't have fighting as an instinct, they couldn't all be bad... To avert herself from the subject, she looked down and said, "And that's why they think you're strange, isn't it...?"((Sorry for interrupting... sweatdrop )) ((now I'm interrupting XD)) Naum nodded again. "Yeah that's why I'm the strange one.All my friends when we were young wanted to grow up and be in the war, but me, I wanted to stay in my home town and work with my uncle at his shop." he said while still keeping his eyes on the sky. "They all made fun of me for it."

Avel couldn't even manage her usual stutter, just silence. She stared back at him, her big innocent eyes blinking back at him. She finally managed to say something, though even quieter than usual. "I-I think you're perfect..."

Nika woke up a few minutes later and noticed Eric was gone.
"Agh..." She yawned. "I guess he went out afterall." She got up and did some jumping jacks to get her blood flowing.
