Kitty walked down the beach with Scipio. The moon was up and the waved lapped the shore peacefully. "Things are going to change soon, huh?" she asked.

"Yea." Scipio sighed. "It seems like we all just got here. Things are moving by too fast. I wish things would just slow down and we could all just relax. You know?"

Kitty nodded solemnly. "But we can't worry about the bad stuff. Otherwise we'll never get on with lif." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Faint music could be heard from the Ball room. "I know! Let's dance here!" she exclaimed and took Scipio's hands and danced to the music, with no particular step in mind. It looked more like a skipping race or something.

Scipio smiled at Kitty and wrapped his arms around her. They danced to the music, the moon shining a light on them like a spotlight. "You truly look beautiful." Scipio said, then he leaned down and gently kissed her.

Kitty's heart leapt. Her face turned red and she was thankful for the darkness of the night. She waited untill he pulled away and slowly said "Thanks...".

Nat was walking down the shore, far from those two. He stopped to look over at the night sky and admire the beauty that would shortly not be.

Scipio sighed, "I don't care. I can handle Nat. I just really like you, Kitty." He said, smiling meekly.
