Raithe leaned against Ashen's neck as he slowed to a stop near the man who had introduced himself as Orophin. She muttered to herself before answering the paladin. "Tael'braithe.... Hmmm. Where have I heard that name before...." She rested her head against Ashen's hard neck as she thought. "Oh! Right. He was that guy that started out with us. He disappeared a while ago though..." She said a little louder, so the man could hear.

Lifting her head off of Ashen, Raithe looked over the paladin. "Why are you looking for him? And why here?" She said skeptically. "You don't even look much like a paladin to me...." Raithe added, noting the bandages.

"Don't smell much like one either..." Ashen put in, catching the scent of blood and Luhix. He arched his neck and gave a draconic sneeze, small flames shooting out of his nostrils, in an attempt to get rid of the smell.

Theresa stepped out of the inn and stretched, the b*****d sword strapped to her back digging slightly into her back. She relaxed and loosened the straps slightly as she started towards the market. Market duty was her favorite, other than the occasional pickpocket, which was a rarity when she was on duty, there wasn't much, which basically meant she had the day to talk to people and enjoy the sights and smells.

As she walked into the market her smile faded as she felt a disturbance. Someone had teleported nearby, in her experience that was never good. She ran a short distance and saw a figure appear out of what seemed to be a doorway to a strange glass covered place. She stepped closer, opening her mouth to ask him his business, and stopped, shocked. She recognized that face, though it was much older now.

"Brother?"

Shadow looked sideways at the woman. Brother? But, I don't have a sister, how could I be her brother? He shook his head slightly and looked her up and down. She wore what looked to be dragonscale armour, made from several different dragons. She had a sword and shield strapped to her back and what looked to be a dragon skull on her head. Unusual look, but it rang no bells.

"You must be confusing me with somebody else, I don't have any sister, I grew up an only child and my father left before I was born..."

Hastily putting the black glove back on his hand, Orophin bowed. "My apologies for my...odd appearance. Tael'braithe is a wanted criminal, as stated by the Church of the Silver Flame, and various other governments across Khorvaire. I came here as ordered, having been told that Tael'braithe was seen somewhere near the 'currently-in-progress' Warforged fortress up in the Metrol area. My search eventually lead me here, where I met the two I mentioned before. They gave me the same information as you did..." Orophin hesitated. The fact they had all said the same thing without communicating between one another, the psion excluded, did give them some credibility.

"Although I can't help but wonder; Why were so many of you down in the Glass Plateau? Even raiders looking for treasure usually travel in smaller groups..."

"It has been decided" spoke the man garbed differently from the rest, his insignia across his back bore the symbol of 'power.' "Calandil!"

Calandil timidly stared up at his senior, having only been with the archsages for little over a year, he was very much the rookie. Though not the youngest, he was 30, and it was quite an accomplishment to say the least. Though his achievements were over-shadowed by that of those cursed prodigies! THEY NEVER DID ANY WORK AND ALL THEY DID WAS LAY ON THEIR ASSES AND DO SH-

"Calandil!" was repeated, this time louder, just to make sure he was paying extra attention. "You have volunteered to fight Thanatos, and possibly emprison him for questioning."

AT LAST! Calandil's time to shine was now, he would accomplish what 20 of his bretheren could not and be crowned champion he would be hailed the gre-

"We, as a council, do not believe you will succeed. But with such few bodies we cannot aid you. If you wish you can call upon the aid of William, he is currently in the building, and say he has the 'day off.' Do not past troubled waters get you killed. That is all. Meeting Complete." The entire room suddenly was no longer dark, the people no longer clad with faces not exposed. Now was a time for socializing.

Damn that William! Always trying to show him up. One day The people will shout Calandil's name! Calandil was rather short for an elf standing only 5-foot, and his intimidation stare was often met with laughter. This 30 year old had a vendetta that made him seen childish. His ambitions would soon be his downfall. As he smiled and spoke the normal banter with his colleagues, all he could think of was glory, little did he know that-

Will walked into the room, everyone cheered and emraced him. Will was happy to meet the few of his friends left... no... his family.

Calandil was furious, Will even interupted his foreshadowing!

Raithe gave the man an undistinguishable look that bordered on questioning and sarcastic. "You can't get a much smaller group then two." She said, seemingly misunderstanding what he said.

Without giving him a chance to respond to that, Ashen asked him another question, "So what has Tael'Braithe done to deserve being wanted by most of Khorvaire?" He was quite interested in the answer, and expected to have it answered. Because if Tael was wanted, and he used to be part of their group, others might be after the rest of the group.

Eclipse had been leaning against the wall that held the opening to the tomb. Arms, crossed, eyes closed Eclipse was rather deep in thought. Everyone had left it seemed, but Eclipse was aware. "Two things, You're Slow. You also don't do a very good job at hiding."

Reciting what he had been told, Orophin went on. "The murders of several innocents, including the incident several years ago with the dropping of the Glass Tower on Sharn, as well as torture, treason, abduction, blackmail, avoiding persecution and association with a wanted criminal. Please note he's guilty of several accounts for each of the aforementioned crimes. Anything else you would like to know?"

Theresa kept smiling. "You are my little brother, I'd recognize you anywhere." She walked up to him, her face shining despite her brothers look of confusion.

Who was this woman? Shadow had no sister, well none that he knew of. There was one way to find out though... As his smiling "sister" walked towards him he manifested mind probe. It easily found its way into her mind and he asked his question. Where do you know me from? And the answer immediately came into his mind. Him, as a child, running around. And he saw himself through his sisters eyes. So he did have a sister...

Theresa continued towards her brother, oblivious to the mind probe. She smiled at him and gave him a hug, feeling him reluctantly returning it. She then withdrew and still smiling starting talking. "So what have you been up to little brother?"

This must be what Phyril had meant... But I really don't have time for a family reunion. "As nice as it is to find out I have a sister, I do have places to be. And not to be rude, but I should get going..."

Theresa frowned. Should've known he would be busy, but where would he be off to in such a hurry. "How about I come with you, we can catch up as we go." Theresa smiled as she spoke.

Shadow frowned, unsure of how to respond. This wasn't something he was used to. "I guess." With that he started walking, his sister hurrying to catch up and walk beside him.

"No, we're good. As long as you aren't hunting down us, we don't have a problem with you." Raithe answered, shifting in the saddle. "Come on Ashen, let's get out of here. There's no further point in being here now." She said in a bored tone.

Ashen turned his head sideways to look at her with one eye. "Where do you want to go? It would be best to find a nice place to rest, and somewhere nearby." He flexed his wings as he spoke, getting them warmed up for the trip ahead of them.

A impish grin on her face, Raithe looked up at Ashen and replied, "How about we stop at Rhukaan Draal? We haven't been there in a while, it's on the way, and it's a friendly palce to rest up."

Ashen shook his head and gave a draconic smirk. "Fine, but only if we can stop in a forest or something on the way to get something to eat and rest up a bit." Raithe agreed and they said a simple goodbye to Orophin before taking off towards Rhukaan Draal.

Soveliss strode calmly from the Glass Plateau, keeping a careful eye on Eclipse. Both arms were as they should be, attached to his body, although he kept his left one wrapped in his robes. The scattered punctures to his pale flesh were likewise repaired, save for the gap where his left eye had been.

"I had some...catching up to do." His hollowed eyes traced Eclipse's new body. "You're not too great at hiding yourself. I would have thought it'd be...less obvious. I suppose I was wrong. Even so, isn't there somewhere you need to be?" Looking around, Soveliss saw what his mind already knew. Everyone had left, or started to.

"No," sighed Eclipse. Except his sigh sounded more like a concrete matter-of-fact, get out of my face or I'll kill you 'No.' "Not now at least..." Eclipse's eyes turned once again to their amber glory, yet these eyes were fierce, with a passion to kill. Eclipse hand sprung from its resting position and lunged at Soveliss' throat hoping to slam his head against the wall.

Eclipse's speed had been formidable, but Soveliss was faster. His own right arm parried Eclipse's blow, and Soveliss' knee drove for the other man's gut. It met it's target, Eclipse having scarcely any time to recognize any pain. Soveliss leaned in close, whispering into his ear. "Most unwise. You of all people should know I am beyond Death."

Eclipse coughed up blood, through his veil, double over he spoke "I guess He's sluggish. Anger will do that to most people." Eclipse starred up at Soveliss "I suppose a thank you is in order, something tells me one attack could finish this for me." Eclipse stood back up to his normal composure. "You probably already know this but my test was different. More of a lesson than a test. The real test will be coming soon. All the same I've learned a few things, among them is this wretched being who has ruined my life it seems for every second it counted." I can't believe the true enemy lies within... "So now, even I fear those eyes. Soveliss can I ask a favor?"

"A favor?" His tone was light and somehow soothing, a subtle smile shaping on his lean face. This could hold some promise..."Speak your mind, I'll see what I can do. But speak quickly, I, too, have something to accomplish before our meeting at the library of Sharn. And it is something, I assure you, that cannot wait." The elf's smile faded, replaced instead by a serious look. The look that hid the very same smile he had just been wearing. Careful now, not to be reckless...
