Vera walked out of her room, and smiled. "As you can see, my rooms are state-of-the-art, and full of precautions to keep me safe. Of course she had given him the tour, after a bit of "fun"

Vera pulled Jake into a corner, kissed hm once, and walked away. "I'll be back later" She said. She found Nikki and Chase a few minutes later, and led Nikki into Vera's private office, and shut the door. When she turned toward Nikki, she radiated power. She was across the room within a second, and she sat down in the chair if she had practiced it millions of times for that one moment. "So... Nikki. We need to talk."

Vera flew to the door..... almost literally, she was there so fast. She opened the door and screamed, "JAKE!!!" Jake reported a few seconds. "Take him to his rooms... and keep him there until I say so." She looked deep into Chases eyes, daring him to remember what happened last night. "Shes safe with me. Remember that." His eyes cloded, she had hypnotized him, altered his memory, so he thought she was safe. If she was or not was completely up to Vera. And Vera loved that.

Vera slid back down into the seat. "I'm just going to hop into the story, if you dont mind. So, when my father died, I was given his office. While the arrangements were being done, and the redecorating set in stone, the maids found something." She set a small box on the desk. "A set of ten letters... talking about two girls. A girl named Veronica Andrews, blonde with brilliant blue eyes, and A girl named Nicole Kresk, with brilliant green eyes, who was sent away because of a curse." Vera sighed openly. "It says that I was to be queen, and you were to stay at the farm, until the end of days. But my father was supposed to tell us at age ten, so we could be sure to never meet, but she never did. So now an old set of curses has been activated, slowly causing alot of very bad things to happen." She glanced over at Nikki. "Understand?"

"Because if you're not then I'm outta here." Nikki jjoked trying to lighten the mood of the room in an effort to comfort herself.

"Oh.... You can't be serious. Blaming all of this on some stupid curse." Nikki remarked, standing up to leave.

Nikki had heard enough, "Okay! For one thing my Father is back at home safe and alive and your father died for what he believed in and theres nothing wrong with that but just because he died doesn't mean you get to take all of us down with you, one way or another."She fumed, walking closer to the door before turning back to face Vera,"And secondly, I'm not dying all because of some stupid ledgend! You can if you want but I am out!" She finished, walking harshly toward the door where she tried to push her way through the guard and when she found herself inable to she stood there waiting for them to move so she could get Chase and go home.
