Ultima roared in anger, unable to pinpoint Sora. Thus as it threw its head about it noticed another target; The Aronian prince. With a loud roar, it raised its hand.
Suddenly, the air condensed around the Prince and a tremendous explosion boomed, as its Light Pillar destroyed the clocktower. Ultima turned, stomping its feet and suddenly causing Quake 3 to destroy the ground around it in an attempt to lure Sora under the falling structure of the Tower, attempting to take out two birds with one stone.

Sora used his Flash Movement to avoid the disaster, before lunging forward with several more powerful slashes. He leapt back in a handspring and began moving again, away from the wreckage of the clocktower. He hoped that his slashes were wearing on the creature, but judging by the first set he wasn't getting very far.

Ultima roared as the barrier protecting it became visible, then faded. As it swung its body around the powerful Light Pillar attack appeared again, making an explosion that if it was lucky would destroy the pest that it seemed unable to keep up with.

The clocktower crshed to the ground, as the prince narrowly avoided the pillar with his disappearence into the snow. He emerged in the sky behind the beast, unloading the massively charged Howitzer Shot into the back of the enormous beast's neck, now zazukening his way to safty. He was not about to be hit by falling pillars.

Sora's flash movement saved him again, but this time he had barely made it. What was that barrier around the creature?
'Whatever it is, it's not getting weaker anytime soon,' he decided finally stopping his movement. In a situation like this, Sora realized, there was only one thing left for him to try.
"This one's all yours, Nightblade! See ya later!" the mercenary called as he used his Flash Movement to make a clean escape into Forest Aron. The trees would provide him with adequate cover to escape and/or regroup.

The beast let out a mighty roar as the blast hit its face, leaving a large wound that marred its face. Ultima roared, throwing its body about in unexpected speed as a blue glow faded. The enormous figure suddenly moved to Nightblade with blinding speed, having casted Haste.
Ultima burst from the smoke, catching Nightblade with its hand, and threw the figure at Sora as he disappeared at last. The air around Nightblade suddenly grew thick and burst into flames, exploding into his Shadow Flare attack in an attempt to eradicate the Aronian Prince. The smell of blood clung to the air now, and Ultima was either going to peel the skin from whomever's it was or lay waste to the city while trying too.

Ultima's frustration was evident as the creature was unable to locate the Aronian Prince. Raising itself into the air with its wings, the Ultima Weapon looked down on the city. Filled with life...filled with lifestream...its stomach began to glow, and in a moment the Ultima Cannon destroyed the once popullated area of Aron, murdering thousands of ex-refugees and families that had just returned from the exile induced by Midgar. A terrible cry echoed as the Ultima Weapon turned, healing the flesh around its now scarred eye with Curaga and moving towards the Colloseum; the next structure evident from its vantage point.

Ghaleon, the only god of gaia, would not give you a shield that lasted 2 turns anyways. He also ordered your silencing by the Weapon, and he killed you because you would have been dead anyways. And even had you concocted some sort of "defense", you spent that turn complaining over rules written in stone. You will still alter your attack, and please...if you post again, I'll use my OWN Angel Tear to bring you back and kill you again. That many losses on your record can't be good...

BYYYYOOOIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
Sora landed on the ground, having begun to patrol the area. "Man, this place is booorriiinnng. Where are all the PEOPLE I can terrorize-I mean, interrogate-I mean, speak to in a nice manner so as not to displease Nightblade..." Sora looked around, sighing and falling lightly onto his back once more.
"I wonder what this mission is...? The Emporer, something something, yata yata...I just want to know when it's time to get out of here." He rolled his eyes over, seeing a basketball laying nearby. Suddenly, a disturbing grin began to spread over his malevolent face...

Kyle stepped out of the bar, a bottle in hand. "Looks like another night of wine women and song. Just between you and me, I think I had a little too much of the wine. But the women didn't complain..." The drunken hero stumbled forward, waiting on any potential foe who would come to town. Despite his apparent unintelligent stupor, he was well aware of what was happening and had deployed himself here, awaiting anyone who would want to hurt this bar.

Whilst the battle in the Forest was soon to begin and Onyx was making her own way towards the Aronian Keep, light footfalls brought the leader of this invading party into the very center of the Ruined City. The nearby tower, destroyed by the power of the Midgar Cannon...the well which would stand honorably until the Prince and all his followers fell...and the remaining Aronian people who wandered the streets...all came into view as Ulquiorra Schiffer entered the town square.
"There is nothing but trash in this city," the arrancar observed in his deep and quiet voice. Green eyes searched from side to side before he opened his mouth...just a little...and inhaled deeply.
It was an innocent gesture in appearance, but when a strange light began to emanate from all the living residents of the city...and one by one they fell to the ground in a state of permanent unconsciousness...its innocence was revealed for what it was. A dangerous, and deadly assault on life...Konzui. It was the ability to suck the souls straight out of all those in a considerable radius who failed to contain significant spiritual energy. And with Aron practically abandoned by its warriors, it seemed there were few...if any...who could withstand it.
Ulquiorra finished his maneuver with his usual, deadpan gaze. He didn't even bat an eye at the bodies that littered the ground around him and the many more that were hidden from his sight. Death was what they deserved, after all, for desecrating their Emperor's lands with their filth. This was only natural.

Kyle's eyes opened as the people around him dropped, all except for one...a man clothed in white, and he didn't seem bothered by the change.
The wrap around his sword untied as he held it before him, scowling. "I take it you're the guy I've been waiting for. Did you do this?" Kyle stood tall, and moved his hand behind his back...
Only to draw forth a bottle of alcohol. "You don't mind if I have a drink, do you? You seem to have killed my bartender...something I'm gonna make you pay for." With another swig, he set the bottle back in its original position, and prepared to fight. 'Damn you, Ghaleon...'

"Can't you tell just by looking at them?" Ulquiorra countered coldly, not a hint of remorse in his voice. "They were all trash, nothing more." The arrancar stood motionless with his green eyes watching the man who was to be his opponent. He had a large sword and a bottle, neither of which the Espada believed to be a threat to his iron skin. He wasn't amongst Ghaleon's finest for nothing, after all, and this man would not pose a challenge.
There was a strangeness to the still manner in which he stood, though if Kyle could tell he hardly cared. His hands, limp at his sides, were always ready...the pressing need to be on-guard non-existent with such a...paltry threat. Ulquiorra's fingers almost twitched in anticipation of what promised to be an easy kill...

Watching from his hiding place, Gustav can see that Kyle is probably about to bite off more than he can chew. Knowing this may be a losing battle, the mythril warrior couldn't just let Kyle go down alone. Silently unsheathing Sylveril's Sword, the flawless warrior made a silent apology to his deceased lover and made his move. Launching himself skyward, the clever warrior made himself known on purpose by announcing his attack, "White.... WAVE!" As his cry echos through the area and he slashes downward, a large wave of white energy forms form the blade of his sword and launches at his motionless opponent. However, this attack would be obviously futile, were it not for Gustav's second part, using space compression to close the gap between himself and his opponent, he speeds up the White Wave dramatically, using the light it creates as it blasts Ulquiorra to hide his dash to Kyle's side, where he poses dramatically as though he'd just landed the killing blow.
