RP Response: Meadow’s bright smile made his eyes sparkle; they were always the prettiest shade of blue. When he dipped her back and asked if she was ready, she felt her face flush a bit and…did her heart just jump into her throat for a second? She dismissed it and nodded with a smile, her frills wiggling in little waves. “Ready!” She whispered back to him. As they leaned back they gripped each others’ hands firmly while their spin got faster and faster, the skate of her lifted foot nearly touching the back of her head. With the lights on them as they did this, she could only imagine that they looked like a glittering whirlpool of color on the ice right now. Her heart raced as they spun so fast, slowly pulling each other up right so they could slow down for their “death.” The blood must have rushed to her head because she felt dizzy and all she could focus on was Meadow’s eyes. They were supposed to collapse…..but as she felt him start to, Aurelia dipped him back and planted a firm kiss to his lips. By the time she straightened him up, what she had just done had sunken in and she covered her mouth with her hands; what the heck had she just done?!

This was it! The finale! As they spun faster, Meadow's hair tie decided it couldn't take this anymore and snapped, shooting off somewhere, and sending Meadow's hair free in a shower of glittery sparkles. When they slowed, pulling themselves upright, Meadow grinned. No one would expect a death to the performance, right? He started to lean back to 'die' when Aurelia suddenly leaned over him. Wait, this wasn't… Wait… Wait a moment. She kissed him. HOLY NINE DID AURELIA JUST KISS HIM?! Meadow could only stare at her when she pulled him back to his feet as the music ended and she covered her mouth. Meadow's cheeks were bright red. Heck, his fins were probably red too!

RP Response: She just kissed him…..She had just kissed MEADOW! Her best friend! What in the hell had come over her?! One minute they were spinning and the next she just felt this sudden want to kiss him. Aurelia had just been so caught up in the moment that she thought it was her imagination running away but no, she had actually done it. The whole of her face from chin to the tips of her frills were practically crimson and oh Nine, Meadow was blushing, too! Not only did she ruin their routine but she had embarrassed him in public by doing this. “Crap….I…I ruined it…I’m sorry, I..” Aurelia’s eyes darted around them at the people that were watching them. Were they offended? She couldn’t tell but she felt so mortified, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked back at her best friend. “….I’m so sorry….” She shouldn’t embarrass him more; she turned away and made to skate off the ice, just wanting to hide until this was a blurry memory.

The final touches were being added in for those extra points in technical moves, and racking up the extra big points for the more flourishing and higher difficulty jumps. Valory wasn't one for slouching or playing it safe. He went big everytime, giving it his all no matter what. The conclusion of their song was coming, and he curved his route to reunite with Tobias for their finishing pose. His heart too was racing, but he was rather satisfied with what they'd put out there. No falls, no falters, an acceptable display through and through.

Something he certainly hadn't cleared with his partner, because that would make it even more genuine. Tobias swept broadly to a stop, ice spraying from the force of his skates even as his arms wrapped around the slender kumiho. He dipped his pale partner over the ice and kissed him--and it certainly was no chaste peck on the lips. This could go horribly wrong, of course. He could find himself getting punched hard in the face--but he was betting that Valory wouldn't dare sabotage an otherwise impeccable performance.

But it couldn't have prepared him for how his partner would act... As they'd done many times before, Valory was enveloped by Tobias in an elegant dip to show off their flexibility, control, and strength with something very lovely... but it seemed Tobias wanted to add a little extra. The kiss instantly made pools for eyes flash open wide, and the fur on his body begin to puff sharply. If it weren't for his immense self control, and desire not to lose any points... it would have been far more extreme. Body tensing, a very faint, threatening, and low growl began to rumble from him that only Tobias would be able to hear with their joined lips.... even as his heart was now kicking faster than it had been during their entire show.

Grinning broadly at the audience as he released his partner, he locked his fingers around Valory's so they could both hold up their arms at the roaring crowd and bow. He let go shortly afterwards, still laughing softly to himself even as he skated off the ice. He was undoubtedly going to hear about this, but it was a fair price for having to wear this sparkling, glittering outfit. Revenge was so very sweet.

But he was in front of an audience, he had judges that were still grading them til the pose was complete... he had to keep it together. Still, his fur was visibly puffed, and his expression held a twinge of tension in it as he refrained himself from scowling and snarling at his partner. With their hands laced, he squeezed to let his sharp claws p***k into Tobias' hold, muttering for only the imp to hear, "You shall pay for this dearly..." gravel in his hiss of a voice.

"What are you going to do?" He taunted gently, still grinning from ear to ear. "Make me wear nothing but a glittery thong next time? The crowd loved it and you know it." His fluffy tail swished lazily from side-to-side, reflecting how utterly pleased he was with himself. It was a petty pleasure, being able to rile up the snob, but Tobias had learned to live for petty pleasures whenever he could afford them. It wasn't like Valory's opinion was going to change about him anytime soon, so why not tease him? He'd absolutely play up the uncultured brute role, if needed!

Whether they won or lost the competition, they had certainly won something else. Her fingers slid between his claws as they waited for their turn. Yes, they had definitely won something today. Tilting her head up toward his, she smiled and lightly squeezed his furred hand. This last routine was the one they had worked the hardest on, the one with the hardest lift. Klaus would need to lift Eira above his head, but as long as they did everything just as they had practiced everything would be fine. WC: 111

RP Response: Klaus was becoming more and more attuned to Eira's quirks and body language as the days wore on. He looked forward to every moment spent with her. His mind was replaying over and over the kiss they shared when he felt her squeeze his hand which caused him to stop his musings and look at her lovely face which was his undoing. That smile! If she only knew how it slayed him, he would be her slave if she only asked.
He sensed she was nervous or unsure due to how she squeezed his hand. He had to reassure her so he bent slightly to her lovely ear and said in a very soft reassuring tone "We have worked very hard at this routine, this last set will be the toughest but I have faith in you we can pull this off. Win or lose we did our best and for me being with you was worth every bump, fall, sprain, bruise and injured bones. You are flawless, beautiful and enchanting. Show the crowd and judges the real you, the one I see." with that said he slowly moved them onto the ice as they were given the signal it was their turn.
