Everyone finally together, with the exception of Soveliss anyways, Shadow walked back up the stairs, just in time to see Raithe hand some gem to Tyrin. Maybe now these people would get some help. And so he stood there, leaning against the bannister. He couldn't do anything else to help, up to the mages now, and so he did all he could. Wait and hope they could do something to help those people.

Will knew Tyrin's asessment of the situation was accurate, and so was his choice of spells but one thing remained, "Tyrin, perhaps it would be better to use a less expensive thing? I mean I could feed some starving children with that money, or us for that matter..." realizing the fact that people might catch on Tyrin's small obsession with pretty things to use for spells, William quickly shut his mouth and allowed Tyrin to work. He needed all of the little concentration he normally allowed himself.

Raithe still had her back to Tyrin, but she managed to catch what Will said about using her gem. At that, she wasn't facing away from them for long. She immediately turned on Will, pointing a gloved finger at him warningly. "Hey, don't even think about. If that gem isn't being used for this spell, it's going right back into my pouch. And if it's still intact after the spell, I'll be reclaiming it." Her voice was filled with venom, merely inforcing the threat that she didn't have to speak.
Ashen only gave a smirk and shook his head at her response. Typical. He expected Will to know better by now, after all the mage seemed to prize himself on being able to tell a person's character.

Trying to flat-out ignore Will and Raithe, although unable to keep from smirking, Tyrin took the onyx in one palm. With his other hand, Tyrin unhooked the scroll on his back. "Lucky you," he said fondly, "you're getting more use the past few days than you would in weeks." Setting it gently on the ground, one of Tyrin's thumbs slid under a specific latch, after choosing from the several dozen he could see. Next was the gem: Tyrin set it in his palm so that, when closed, a sharp end of the gem would be facing the inside.
Simultaneously, Tyrin unlatched the scroll and clenched his gem-wielding hand. The fine edge cut deep, dripping warm blood down it's sides, onto the scroll. A gentle white light emanated from where it made contact, moving slowly to cover up all of the bodies which it's caressing glow. "Keep it going..." Tyrin winced as he squeezed harder on the chunk of onyx, drawing more blood.
The result was a second spell, this one taking on the form of a fine, sky blue mist. It, too, washed over the still bodies. With the combined effects, bones would regenrate, organs reform, and tissue stitch itself together. These people would hardly be able to tell that this had ever happened. Except...
Rehael watched intently as the magic worked it's wonders. Something that looked so simple, seemed to take so little effort...and it could save lives so easily? Rael felt her appreciation for the magical arts growing. Even so, there was something...off about the bodies. After being healed, it was still only their eyes that were moving, and still their flesh was pale.
"There's something else wrong with them." Rehael pointed out at Tyrin's side. It looked to her as if their mouths had been stiched shut, but there were no stitches. She was certain her eyes would be able to pick up that much. "They look...inhuman." Rehael didn't know how else to describe it. They were alive, that she knew. But they weren't doing anything, as if they were dead.
Tyrin nodded, "I'm not exactly sure what. Some sort of necromancy, no doubt. It's like their bodies have...stopped working? I have no idea how to fix that. Sorry, guys." He smiled apologetically. "I've done all I can for now." Drawing a white cloth from a pouch, Tyrin wrapped up his hand. Magic wouldn't be healing that..."Ah, Raithe? Your gem." He tossed it over to her. "Although....I'd be happy to accept that as payment for helping these...friends of yours?" Tyrin motioned to the bodies he had healed.

Will quickly smiled and tried to cover-up his words. "I didn't mean that gemstone, I meant a gemstone worth that much, because Tyrin likes using expensive things." Will stared on as Tyrin's spell just wouldn't work. Everything seemed to be in order, but there was something else. William really didn't want to have to say this. "Tyrin I think you'll agree, we need Soveliss to do thi-"

Raithe caught the bloody gem in one hand, the drops of blood on it quickly soaking into her leather glove, and immediatly pocketed it. Her only response to Tyrin's comment about her giving it to him was a sarcastic smirk and a rude gesture before she turned her back to all of them and walked over to Ashen. Once at his side, Raithe sat down at the base of his neck, leaning against him for support. Looking up at his face, Raithe saw the satisfied smirk, and asked him what he was grinning about.
"Nothing." Was his reply before looking away, still smirking.

A thing garbed in a gold embroidered gray cloak rose from the ground. It's rising looked like a black liquid forming into the shape of some sort of humanoid. The It stood to a height no taller than 6 feet, and it's body was covered. No mount of flesh was visible, it's cloak giving the thing an image of girth. It's robes hung loosely over it's feet, and it's sleeves over-his hands. It's hood most of all was strange, without revealing any other part of his face, it allowed for it's soft golden eyes to pierce through the darkness that seemed to trap the thing's body.
Without so much as paying any attention to a single person in the room, it glided towards the pile of bodies. It's golden eyes became covered by the darkness, maybe he was closing them, and the air in the room began to move rapidly. Cloak, hats, and all sorts of garb flailed helplessly in the cyclone that now existed. But the thing's own garments stayed still, it made it seem that not even the smallest draft had ever entered the room.
After perhaps three seconds the gale stopped. The bodies were gone. The adventurers still stood, perhaps slightly less physically appealing, but no harm was done. It stared about the room, his eyes seemingly shifting shape as he stared into each and everyone of them. Most notably his eyes changed shape to mimic that of a dragon when staring into Ashen's. It finally stopped when it met eyes with Will. The words that came from his hollow hood seemed to depict a calm, and intelligent voice. it adressed the group kindly, and with a small hint of urgency.
"Excuse my interuption, but I must ask all of you to please join me in my office to discuss a very important matter. Much of this information is especially important for the one unworthy, the betrayer, the martyr, the two friends, and destiny's voice."

"Umm....Tyrin? I don't suppose you know him, too, do you?" Rehael asked, cautiously glancing at the...thing from the corner of her eye. And the kids in Sharn think I'm a weirdo... Another thought came to mind. If this guy was looking for a fight, she hadn't brought her weapons...Rehael laughed quietly to herself, scrapping the thought. Even if it did come to that, she was fine with her fists.
Shaking his head, Tyrin looked once more at the spot where the bodies were. "What did you do with them? Where are they? Why are you here?" He scanned the new appearance's clothing. Nothing he had seen...maybe a merchant from Xen'drik? "Nah...oh, and nice to meet you, by the way. Name's Tyrin. Nice entrance, too. A little showy, but hey, we're all used to all-powerful, otherworldly beings here, right?"
Tyrin extended a hand, then reconsidered. He wasn't keen to seen whatever hands that thing might have. "Err, right. So, the bodies? What did you do with them? I need to know before I go anywhere with you."
"Oh, they're safe."
It's tone had changed. Lighter, almost...nonchalant. Tyrin couldn't place it....what was with this thing?
"At least, I hope so..." It continued, "If not, well, that'd be a real shame." The figures shoulders seemed to rise then drop again, much like a sigh. "Don't worry! I took care of them. I know how to fix their condition, too. Thank me later. Now come on, follow me."
Tyrin hesitated, looking around the room for some indication of whether to listen to it or not in the eyes and faces of everyone else.

Raithe's eyes cleary showed what she was felt. They pratically burned an emerald fire of pure determined defiance. She had no intentions of going with someone who had just appeared in the room and told them they must joing him in his office. Besides, Raithe never liked offices, and always made it a point of avoiding them. She associated them with nothing but trouble. Even when she was called in for a job, if the person who wanted to hire her did so in an office, it usually turned out bad for her. So if this thing wanted her to follow it, it had better give her a damn good reason, as far as she was concerned.
Unlike his partner, Ashen's expression showed little of what he thought or felt. The most that could be taken from his face was that he was still tired, and didn't really care if they went or not. His outer eyelids were lazily half-closed over his eyes, like a cat that was dozing off in the heat of the sun.
He was indifferent if they followed whatever it was that had invited them in, but he knew Raithe wouldn't be too keen on going. It was a mistake to mention an office, Ashen thought, knowing how much the half-elf hated such things. She really has bad luck with them too, he mused, remembering all the events that took place when she went into an office. It brought a small smirk to his draconic mouth.

Eclipse voice his own oppinion on the situation, "I'm not going anywhere with you. Namely into some office."
Its eyes seemed to spread wide in shock, as the golden eyes switched to two thin gold slits in the darkness of his hood. It instantly glidded towards Eclipse, not giving him to react it proceeded to put its hood almost into Eclipse face, using some for of intimidation. His voice was cackly and dark. As if life was a game of chess, and the pawns were expendable. "Well Eclipse, you're going into my office or I may have to murder everyone of you in this room. It would all too easy, breaking your necks with my bare..."
William took a commanding step forward, this character was rather odd, "Hey!"
Its eyes changed color once again, reflecting a soft golden color once again. His voice calm and collected, and extremely nervous "I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to... If I could ask good sir, please do not address me again. You make me very afraid... Well I'm sorry for the confusion, by office I meant my home. I live here in this library. One of the locked rooms filled with books, very impersonal actually. It won't be a very bussiness setting." It seemed to make a sound that was reminiscient of a chuckle. "I do beg of you please to come with me, it is of a dire importance." It began to make a start for the stairs. "Oh, and you all may call me Cyril... if you all speak common..."

Leontynne was taken aback by the next man's entrance into the room. Theatrics, like magic, unnerved her greatly. She jumped up from her seat on the floor and looked around, confused, but wary. Everyone, or almost everyone, else seemed to know who this man was, so she decided to go along with the majority of the party. After all, ominous though this man appeared, she was also curious as always. She waited for someone else to make a move.

The prophecy, this thing was talking about it. The unworthy, the betrayer, the martyr, the two friends, destinys voice, it was from their prophecy. They had to go with him, he might know more. But they were untrusting, well now was as good a time as any to tell them what he had learned and so he spoke the words of the prophecy in the minds of everyone in this room.
"'Champions are called forth, setting in motion the gears of revolution. One among them proves unworthy, his calling far from met; forever to live in the abyss. Another is bound to the taint of betrayal, once and forevermore condemned. Closest of friends, two among the rest, each born to take the life of the other. The ultimate sacrifice of one serves no purpose. The last shall be alone to rise, this legend of champions born on their lips.'
I think we should go with him..."

"Who told you that, it's improperly translated, and far from correct. Come along now we don't have much time, especially I. I will soon be free from this world." Cyril spoke into the minds of everyone, much like that of Shadow. His golden eyes seemed to relfect a wiseman who for many years had done nothing but study.

Rehael spoke up, waving her fist in the air, "We've come to a decision, then! Let's go!" She grabbed ahold of Tyrin's arm, pulling him towards the disturbing, cloaked man. How bad can it be, right? "I've got a hunch that whatever it is it wants to tell us, it's gotta be important. They're even dressed for the occasion." She said, noting it's robes.
Not resisting the jerking motion of suddenly being pulled, Tyrin followed step lazily. "You've got...a hunch?" It was little to go by, but may as well. If all else failed, they could always leave without a fight...hopefully?
"Yeah, just a hunch." Rael smiled at Tyrin, her slightly tanned face glowing. "You're not scared, are you?"
"Wha-? No, no. I'm going, we're going it's...going. Let's go?" Tyrin stumbled over his own words, smiling nervously. This is more trouble than it's worth...
