Kikuka Her breathing was heavy and she was glaring. Slowly she lowered her bow and her breathing slowed. She slumped. Her bow and arrow clattered to the ground as she saw her tears dripping off her face to the ground. She covered her face with her hands and shook with stiffled sobs. A muffled wimper was heard through her hands.
She clamped her mouth over her hand and looked up to him, her eyes were red. "I'm sorry..." She wimpered. "I'm....I'm not, normaly like this." She looked down in her embarasment. Why did I break down like that? And if front of him?! She thought. He looked down upon her after finally reaching her. He wasnt disgusted, he was concerned. These humans, these emotions, what a puzzle they were. But Eli had to agree, things have gotten more interesting with her around. He kneeled down at her level as she appologized. He shook his head. "There is no shame in crying if there is a good reason for it." He hesitantly put a hand on her shoulder to reassure her. He wondered if he was the cause of this outburst. He looked down and finally decided, she didnt earn it like he said but... "My name is Eli..." he finally muttered.

Kira nodded slowly, accepting his reasurance, but keeping her eyes down. When he told her his name she looked up, surprised. "Eli...?" She repeated. She wiped her cheeks with her hands. She was pale and shaking. She stood shakily and bowed to him, trying to keep from falling over.
"One- one of- of the demon brothers?" She stammered after rising from her bow and collecting her bow and arrows. "I am honoured." She replied in thanks. She was still shaky and pale.

Kikuka Kira nodded slowly, accepting his reasurance, but keeping her eyes down. When he told her his name she looked up, surprised. "Eli...?" She repeated. She wiped her cheeks with her hands. She was pale and shaking. She stood shakily and bowed to him, trying to keep from falling over.
"One- one of- of the demon brothers?" She stammered after rising from her bow and collecting her bow and arrows. "I am honoured." She replied in thanks. She was still shaky and pale. He placed his hand on hers to recover her weapon. "Honored... you owe me no such satisfaction." he said mournfully. With his free hand he placed a hand upon her to steady her a bit. "Well practice again later, you look as if you need to lie down." He lead her back to the castle slowly. "I may have pushed you too hard Kira, but you are not weak." He saved himself from another potential plight.

After entering the castle she took a seat in the sitting room by the lit fire. She stared at the crackling fire wondering, thinking. Whats happening to me...? She looked down at her hands, orange in the glow of the fire.

She looked down at her hands, orange in the glow of the fire. "Pushed yourself...?" she acted as if she was training and went too far. He helped her inside and assisted her into a lavished living space. Couch, sofa, fireplace, the works. Eli used a match to light the fire. He left for a moment to put back the weapons she borrowed before returning to her. He stared at her and went silent before finally spoke. "Im sorry..." he paused. "For taking you." He didnt know what made him appologize or why he even cared.

Kira shook her head solemly. "No, again demon --" She paused "Eli, you are wrong." She looked up at him with eyes that held to the emotion in them for dear life. Her eyes were understanding, yet...confused. As if she had no idea of what she was saying yet, compleatly sure of herself.
"Being taken here," She paused again considering her wording. "May have been one of the better things in my short lifetime." She looked away to stare back into the orange-red cracling fire. "One of the best things..." She murmered as if confirming it.

Impossible that she would abapt in less then a days time. He watched her before bowing his head a bit scoffing. "You humans are such puzzles, but if you feel that way... " he turned his back to her and looked up his arms crossed. "As long as your here, this is your home, feel free to go where you like and use what you wish. Except my brothers possesions and rooms of course... or if it is locked." he announced proudly. This place wouldnt be so quiet anymore. "Rest now and regain your bearings, Ill fetch you something." He began to walk to the door.

Kira blinked as it sunk in. Then, impulse struck and she lept up and grabbed his arm before he could walk out. Just that small action left her hard of breath. "Thank you..." She whispered, her eyes half shut and glassy. She mannaged a small, weak, smile. And she truly ment it, there was no remorse, nothing mischievios in her voice. No slyness in her eyes. She released him slowly and allowed him to walk out.
She collapsed onto the couch breathing shallowly. She put the back of her hand to her forhead feeling its coolness on her hot, aching head. She laid her head back against the couch and put her hands on the back of her neck trying to ease the nausea creeping up on her.

Eli blushed a bit as she smiled at him. "Your...welcome..." he muttered after an unsteady paused. He went into the hallway and stopped for a bit to think before continueing. He went to the kitchen and prepared a cup of herbal tea with some medicnals that might help her get better. He then quickly warmed up some soup from their stock room and placed it in a bowl. He put the cup, sugar, milk, bowl and utensils on a platter and carried them back carefully. He looked like a butler at that moment.
He entered the room with Kira lying on the sofa. He walked over and put the platter on the table. She looked pale, did she make herself sick? Eli went to one of the chairs and pulled off a blanket for her, lying it on her. He then sat on the ground and looked at her. He didnt know if she was asleep but didnt dare disturb her if she was. However he was growing concerned at her shallow breathing.

Kira curled into a ball pulling the warm blanket tighter around her. She did look pale and there were dark rings about her eyes. She coughed in her light sleep and turned over.
About a half hour later she rolled over again and opened sleepy eyes to the steaming tea and soup. She sat up slowly hugging the blanket around her. She looked sleepily around and spotted Eli. "Thank you" She mouthed having found her throught hoarse. She picked up the tea and sipped it feeling warmth spread through her. She gave another small smile.

Eli nodded to her when she thanked him. He approached her finally to examine her himself. He felt her head, alittle hot, her breathing was raspy, skin a little clamy. Diagnosis... "You got yourself sick somehow. Stay off your feet for today. I know you like archery alot but our herbs and medicine can only do so much. If you get sicker, there will be little I can do. Understood?" He sounded more like a parent then anything else but it was the truth. Nearly any sickness could lead to annuemonia and if that happens, shell be in trouble.

Kira waited through his examination and diagnosis before heaving a sigh. Must have worked myself into a fit and it made me sick. She thought pouting a bit. She understood she couldnt chance making herself more sick, but she hated not finishing a chalenge. She nodded to him and sipped her tea. It was minty and already she was feeling better.
((I think ya mean pnumonia.....^^ *laugh* cha......))

Eli acknowledged her. "THis house isnt much for entertainment but no more archery for a while. Sorry but your health comes before your art." Eli clammered about what to do or say. He was used to not saying much but it felt improper for him to remain quiet. He didnt want to make her speak if your throat hurt.

Kikuka Kira put on a pouting face. That did not sound like a very fun aspect. In a soft voice she ask. "So what shall we do now? This does not seem the house to have electronics. A game of chess perhaps?" She sugested. He sat on the floor and leaned his head against the couch he was on. "Nope sorry, old house. Old technology. You might have a point though, this place is kind of dull. Ill go steal some stuff later. No to the game though and Im not much of a thinker in such aspect." He would play occasionally with his brothers and he always lost which always made him mad. Eli became curious about something then. "I hate to make you speak but to be honest I want to know more about you Kira." he said this while staring at the fire. "You dont have to answer if you dont want to..."
