Hullo, everyone. :]
I stumbled on this guild when lurking, thought it would be fun, and, well.. the rest is a bit obvious, isn't it?
A little bit about me... well, I'm 16, actually a female, and live in the midwest. I adore books; Jacqueline Carey and Anne Bishop are two of my favorites, along with Margaret Weis, creater of the Dragonlance series.
Video games are good too, ones like the Shadow Hearts series. The new one makes me a bit sad, since the main character is the one who uses transformation, and the transformations themselves seem to be a bit biased towards men... I still like it, though.
And if you hadn't noticed, I tend to ramble a bit. sweatdrop
Oh, yes, if anyone can guess where I got my username, they win an obligatory lapdance. Unless female, then they get cookies. ;P

From what I recall, Weis was a Co-creator, actually, along with Tracy Hickman.
Though my interest in Dragonlance has all but dried up of late... I should really get around to getting the third War of Souls ... sweatdrop
But Jacqueline Carey? Rawk. I need to catch up on her. <3

Gah, I always forget about that. xd I wish I could remember who it was during one of their D&D sessions that really inspired Raist... he's my fave. <3
I still prefer the original Chronicles and Legends to any of the others, but... that's just me. Amber and Ashes was really good, too.
I still have to finish reading her latest book, but it is so good so far. I won't spoil anything, but all I have to say is: ghosts and possession! <333333
And Imriel sounds like a total hottie.

Likes: Cats, cranberry juice, my special friends, video games, DDR, romance novels/manga (yes, you heard me), manners, the movie "Romeo & Juliet" (with Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes), digital pictures, making music with my friends, listening to new music, riding my bike long distances (50 mi +), etc.
Dislikes: Crappy internet connections, rude people, elitists, racial discrimination, gay prejudice (though I'm not gay, it's just wrong), heartbreak, apple juice, smelly dogs, losing my stuff on my long bike rides, "special collector's edition" anything.
Interesting accomplishments:
-Rode to Ann Arbor MI by bike from my home, 45 Mi away, in 3 1/2 hrs.
-I can put my legs behing my head, bend my hands completely back
-I play DDR like no other. (Won 3 different freestyle comps., placed in cool
-I have been kicked out of multiple GAIA guilds for "Radical Behavior"

I like music, especially the band Simple Minds, and got my username from a verse in their song Up On the Catwalk.
I learned that I forgot the 's' before the 'ch', but oh well, I'll fix it later. You can call me Deutchmarks (with or without the 's'), Deutch (with or without the 's'), Marks, DM, or make up a nickname for me.
I also love to read, and my favorite series is Warriors. (I love cats.)

I'm the one they call Tastick. I'm about to enter my junior year of high school and will be turning seventeen in October. I'm really into theater, voice, and all sorts of art forms. I am also an officer of my school's GSA.
I've been an ATer for most of my existance on Gaia (I joined in November of 03) and have recently become a lurker in several other forums. I occasionally grace the Indie forum, but I mostly stick to avatars, guilds, and my new incredibly unpopular HOT that I made with Alhandra.
I joined this guild as a way of getting to know different people from across the site, since I really haven't gotten the chance since I've been confining myself almost completely to a few certain areas. I hope to make more friends who give more of a hoot over things other than avatars, and in doing so enable myself to go beyond the boundaries I've unintentionally set up for myself on Gaia.

I joined in October of 2003 and have mostly stayed in AT.
I've tried venturing out a few times, but always went back to my avatar-making safezone.
