Surprisingly -or maybe not surprisingly- Rikku was wondering the same thing as she listened to her best friend describe the gooey treat. She licked her lips thinking about it as she turned the hover-cycle on. "That sounds yummy!"
As the cycle powered up, Rikku winked back at the ninja. "Gaze up all you like, Ruto... but you'd better hold on tight!" She warned with a laugh, revving the engine.

Naruto quickly snaps out of his musings, blushing a little about where his thoughts were going. He quickly wraps his arms around Rikku, but quickly realizes he forgot something, "Wait, my headband, I can't leave that behind!" he cries, not wanting to lose that one thing from his world he held dear to him. He quickly hops off the bike and rushes over to them, hopping up and down as he tries to quickly put his sandels on one foot at a time. Then he grabs his headband and ties it on, pushing his blond hair away from his face again. Then he rushes back over and gets on the cycle behind Rikku, wrapping his arms back around her.

She nearly laughed at the sight in her surprise, but something in Naruto's tone holds her back. Letting go of the handles she hugs his arms around her. "What's your headband mean, anyway? I mean... it's not just keep your hair out of your eyes like mine. That's clear enough."

Naruto smiles fondly, remembering when he got it, "Well, it symbolizes what village I come from. Iruka-sensei gave me his when I graduated from the Academy!" he says proudly, reaching up and tracing the leaf symbol on the metal of the headband.

Rikku tried to remember what she had read about ninjas. Her face crinkled a bit as she did so. When she had found out that Naruto was a ninja she tried to read up on them, but he did not seem to fit the mold -so-to-speak- & she kinda let herself not think on it. But the thief vaguely remembered sensei. "Your teacher? So it's what says your a ninja? That's really something!"
Twisting her head she kissed his nose. "I like it! It's pretty too!"
Then she turned back around, & moved the hover-cycle forward. Frowning she pushed a couple of buttons. "Now where is it... I know I put it in here... ah-ha! Booyah! Insta-map!"
On the screen in front of her a map was displayed. "Now! On to the shop!" She shouted, showing much more enthusiasm for their departure than she felt.

Naruto blushes lightly over Rikku's compliment and her small kiss. He wraps his back around her tightly when she brings up the map and then gets the cycle moving again. He looks over his shoulder to look over at the lake again, smiling a little when he sees the Ayens still feeding and playing around with each other and he looks forward again.

She zips the cycle through the night quickly, wanting more than anything to make it last forever but loving the feel of the wind in her hair & the shinobi's arms around her as she speeds onward. Rikku only slows when they reach the shop, a heavy sigh falling from her. That had been over far too quickly.

Naruto also feels heavy sadness that their day ended so quickly, well, it was quick to him. When she reachs the shop, he whispers into her ear, "Go by the pond, I need to get my shirt and jacket!" he says, squeezing her lightly.

"As you wish!" She leans her head slightly into his whisper.
Gliding the Machina to the pond she sets it to hover then twists around to face him. Knowing what they are here to retrieve she spreads her hands along his stomach, feeling the resulting tingle shoot through her as usual now. Bringing her feet up behind her near the console Rikku leans forward to press her lips to his without having to move her hands. Her eyes close.

Naruto lets out a pleased sigh when she had turned around and touched his stomach, and he kisses her back, closing his eyes. He puts his hands on her shoulders, leaning closer, his stomach feeling hot and weird and electric as she touchs him, his tail wagging about him. He really wished the night wouldn't end.

Knowing she will only want more -and terrified AearHwesta will fly in to disturb them- Rikku pulls back slowly from the kiss. She lightly kisses the corners of his lips, then once more fully. She sighs happily.
Rikku sits upright again, hands still on his stomach, & smiles sadly at him. "You wanna take me home, or should I take you home?"
"After you pick up your clothes, of course."

Naruto is a little disappointed when she pulls back so soon, but he figured she really needed to get home before someone came looking for her, he didn't want a repeat of what happened last time. He shakes his head as slowly hops off the bike, already missing her touch, "No thanks, I am going to head the shop and check on my sister, Moochi told me she caught a cold and hasn't been doing so well. Plus, I really miss, I haven't really spent as much time I as usually did with her. I will see you around, right?" he asks hopefully, afraid she would tell him she didn't want to be around him anymore.

Although she was a little disappointed, Rikku held it in check. "Oh. All right. Tell your sister I look forward to meeting her when she's better, okay?"
Then she can no longer hide her sadness at having to part. "If you're staying here..." Green eyes pleaded gently. "One last kiss?"

Naruto smiles lovingly and he steps closer, wrapping his arms around her and planting his lips right on hers, putting alot of passion into it. He could feel his heart soaring and his body heat up again from their closeness. He just wished he could understand why they could kiss like Gojyo and Morgana did. He would probably ask the kappa again when he saw him, maybe he could get a straight answer.

She gripped the vibrating machina with her legs, leaning in to Naruto's arms.... & his kiss. She felt she was going to overflow with emotions, & she focused those feelings on their locked lips. Her elbows lightly cupping his shoulders, Rikku ran her arms through his hair.
