Finch’s tiny paws started to push at the stone that cradled the tiny flowers and slowly she worked them undone and carefully used her jaws to hold onto the roots of the plant as she tugged them away from the water and stone, turning to smile at him.
She mumbled under her breath.
“Behind you.”
And motioned for him to grab that batch. They would need a good number of them in order to cure the female, she assumed. Trotting through the cold waters the female didn’t even flinch, she wasn’t cold at all it seemed… she was more the less focused on her job at task than anything, really.
She wanted Zen to know! She needed to see him happy, frowns were no-good. She looked around for him while Flea grabbed the other flowers.
