NightShade moved silently through the trees of her new home, this was HER land she'd claimed it and now she'd begin her legacy on it. Her mate and daughters were out gathering new members for the herd they were creating together.

A brisk wind whipped her mane about her like an inferno of blue flames even though at the moment the sparks that usually ignited her silken strands was quiet and unseen.

Deep blue hooves moved almost silent across the hard packed earth and she weaved with constant grace between the deep black trees. The babble of a large stream nearby made her turn her head for a moment before she once more moved on, she was looking for just the right spot, the perfect area to claim as her and her mate's home, their small territory within the herdlands.

It took quiet a bit of walking, but she finally did, she broke into a spacious clearing, but it was shaded still. The huge tree that made up the outer ring had massive limbs that stretched out to meet each other in the center high overhead blocking out much of the sun and giving the small area an eerie shadowy feeling.

The stream ran through the center of the circle and wound it's way around either side of a huge flat rock that jutted out of the earth. Tossing her mane Shade walked towards it, "this will be a fine place to conduct buisness." She leapt onto to stone and walked till she stood at the very tip the front of her fore hooves at the edge of the rock. Shade looked regal standing there, neck arched crazy two toned eyes opened enough that you could see most of them in almost a normal expression. Her mane was billowing in the wind her tail whisking against her side.

After a few moment she jumped down and wondered towards a large thicket bush to one side and started cleaning it out to create a secluded sleeping spot for herself and Poison.

Kicking the discarded twigs into the woods she looked around and surveyed her home. Yes, this would do fine for her needs as well as for Poison.

Tossing her mane she recorded it's location in her mind and moved out to see if her mate had made any progress with members.
