Sawa gazed at his reflection a moment, head slightly tilted as he tried to steady his heart beat a little. That was... quite odd, usually he did not get nervous around too many females. He shook his head slightly and found himself laughing at his own thought process and then coughing to try and let his laughter die off, feeling a bit embarrassed for laughing out of nowhere, seemingly, like he had. He gulped at the water with his tongue, eyes shutting half way as his ears swiveled back slightly, still listening to Buu. The water was cool to taste from sitting in the shade all day, and he thought it was much more refreshing that most watering holes that sat in the sun all of the time.
He lifted his head a little and glanced over at Buu, smiling apologetically. "I be meanin' yer son an' yeh, no yer ... er... yer son's fa'er." He said, kindly and shrugging lightly at the mix up. He was pretty much through taking about the boy's father, because well... of course he wasn't about to make some other male look good while he was right here! As she went on though he turned and sat, still near the water and what he termed a 'safe' distance from her, because he was becoming very away just how much he was actually enjoying spending time with her. Ah, it would pass... the lustful feeling. It always did, in any case. His smile was slightly sad at what she was saying, but also almost hopeful for some reason. "Oy, yeh sure do 'ave weir' romantic notions.." He said, teasing her a little as he chuckled. "Though I do think tha' it be pre'y true... wishin' fer som'un yeh feel so strongly teh tha' even when they be close by yeh be worried abou' why they're no'ome yet." He took a deep breath and shook his head slightly, it was something he didn't think he'd ever have though. He liked females, he had a mate briefly at one point... it had been foolish, but he didn't regret it. Now? He wasn't sure what would happen.
His eyes met hers and he grinned brightly. "Aye, aye... I dare say I 'aven' smiled so much myself in some time." He stated, again his tone was slightly teasing but it was true. Something about Buu ultimately made him smile, which was a rare and good quality to possess. "Yer siblin's be very lucky teh'ave a sister like yerself."
He had noticed the blush on her fur, but tried not to think of it much. Surely this was a friendly conversation, he wasn't trying too hard at flirting... right, maybe she was just over-heated. His gaze shifted back to the pool behind him and his tail curled around his paws. "Lucky... the wa'er still be cool an' I think tha' it be more refreshin' than tha' wa'er always si'in in the sun." He said, laughing more.
