Yugi just watched him a few moments more before he flung the dagger at him halfheartedly. Just to see what his reaction would be.

atem sensed the daggers approach and quickly put up a slight barrier of shadow energy to protect himself. he knew that wasnt the best this person had and it was slightly irritating that this was carrying on.
he just stood still as he listened to the knifes clanking sound as it landed on the ground, with a slight dent from where it hit the barrier

He slipped around the perameter of the room, inching closer to where the horses were, his movement near them causing them to stir.

"why put in effort with a half hearted attack like that?"
he asked, turning when he heard teh horses stir, starting to walk around a bit, looking aroundt he area near the horses.
"you think you can hide in your shadows forever, dont you?"
atem said using the strangers words against him

He moved closer to the entrance of the stable now, intent on making his exit soon.

atem heard some movement towards teh entrance. it was then he decided to use his mastery of the shadows to seal off the exists for both of them.
"youre not leaving here......"
he wanted to know who this person was and why they seemed so familar
