-Today was Gomez's first day practicing with the team, since leaving.
-Crayton is expected to be back tonight
-Rumors flying around saying RW Eric Vernan will have a trial with the team.

DC United has signed central defender, Mamadou Danso.
Dave Kasper: "We are pleased to have obtained Mamadou from the MLS waiver process. He is a strong central defender with a big, physical presence and we look forward to giving him an opportunity to earn a spot with D.C. United."
Kom Momeni (Danso's [now] former coach: "He has always been very reluctant to play as a forward, as his natural position is a center back. He will be a professional in that position. He never felt comfortable as a Forward. He just did it because it was best for the team."
No clue who this kid is....

had to've been developmental somewhere in MLS cause they got him out of the waiver process.

i searched for him on wikipedia and mlsnet.com. he was on the list of current MLS players, under DC United, but he didn't have an actual page. When i searched for him on mlsnet, it came up with no news results. he isn't even on the roster on mlsnet.

Casting Pearls night i searched for him on wikipedia and mlsnet.com. he was on the list of current MLS players, under DC United, but he didn't have an actual page. When i searched for him on mlsnet, it came up with no news results. he isn't even on the roster on mlsnet. That's because he's only on trial. He is not on the team, officially. At least not yet. In other news, Joe Vide will not be returning to DC next season.

elicea_009 It's official. Wells has retired. that's sad...he never really got to play starting goalie, except for subbing for onstad and the little bit before he got hurt last season at DC
