Two murder suicides in one week sad
One of them in a hotel more or less a street over from my school. I live in a part of town just outside the city where the crime rate is really low, so you don't hear that stuff much, and its like 9 or 10 people killed in the course of a week.
In one case is was the father, he killed his wife and 3 or 4 small children... and (dont highlight if squeamish) he stabbed them and then used hedge cutters to cut off their heads. He left a note saying he did this because of financial stress. They were in $300,000 of debt, and he couldn't handle it.
In the other case, they were New Yorkers (parents and I think another sibling) visiting a girl at Loyola college. There's not a lot known about this one, except it wasn't with a knife or gun.
I guess I've just been really shaken by it. I was joking around at first people from New York come here and immediately want to kill themselves, but it's serious, it is. I don't get it. I don't get how people to that to others as far as suicide even, but murder, that's something I'll never comprehend. So sick... sad

Maryland is kind of depressing. I went there over the summer in '07 and it rained a lot. That really sucks. -joins group hug-

Unrelated:
There's a jail next to my school (prime location) and someone knew someone who worked there and he told me that the guys named all the girls who walked by during gym class.
I can't recall specifics, but I definitely did some sketchy things on those walks. burning_eyes
