This is in reference to the sudden amount of new subforums. How do I put this?

...Why?...

Now subforums are a good thing as they aid in the organization of the forums and help with the cleanliness in general, but doesn't it seem like a bit much right now?

The guild hasn't even reached the point where it's members are listed on two pages. And some of the people haven't even posted anything yet. All of the subforums seem a bit sudden and kind of unnecessary to me. We aren't exactly a booming guild bustling with members with more joining everyday and they seem like a bit much more than the guild needs right away.

Don't take it the wrong why as I like that there is a good break-up and you clearly know where you need to go with just about any post, but with so few members at the moment it almost seems like a waste.

Now I know instead of talking about how I think they're not needed at the moment I could be adding to said subforums, but I sadly have nothing to add to any of them right now.

Well first off I admire your enthusiasm for the guild and its workings. The reason I have been creating all the new sub forums is because IF AND WHEN the guild becomes a bustling melting pot of posting activity, we will not suddenly have an influx of threads with no place in which to properly catagorize them.

Also, imagine joining a guild like ours, which expresses its hate for spam with vehement, only to find that it is in pocession of just one forum which is full of unsorted and uncatagorized threads of any description....That could scare off potential members. So look at the recent influx of new subforums as an investment in the guilds future. We may be lacking members at the moment but that is a problem myself and the VC are adressing.

Thank you for your concern though, if you have any extra questions or comments, do feel free to ask.

I really don't have much to add to them either, I think it helps keep the guild organized.

I try and invite members as often as possible- but it is difficult to find someone who fits 'intellectual'

I'd rather have several subforums empty than one that's full of spam. After all, that's why I join this guild. Like Colourblind Rainbows, I'll invite my friends sometimes, but only if I believe that they will make contributions to the guild.

Thanks guys. And as for finding people who we can class as intellectuals, well lets just say on Gaia, that generally classes as a person who AT LEAST is polite, trys to employ good grammar and isn't entirely stupid, they don't necessarily have to have extremely high IQs or anything, if they start spamming or making stupid posts, we can always kick them. Don't worry if they're your mates either, just say that son of a ***** Guild Captain did it wink .

Now lets get recruiting , ARGH! pirate

You're right, it is away of thinking ahead. So when people get here, it will be like "Hey we can talk about alot of stuff here." I think the more there is to it, makes it more interesting. Without the sub forums, I think it would look kinda...boring. On any guild, that is. I've went on some guilds and it is so un- organized and there is no subforums and I usually leave it, if it is like that...
