Teita glanced at Xavi, back and forth, her gaze switched to and fro. Piper, the tall intimidating alpha, and to her brother. Piper... was huge. An overbearing size for a she-wolf. She was much... much bigger than mother.
Teita nearly flinched at the alpha's words. She didn't seem to want to deal with the two pups at all, and Teita was starting to think she should've told her brother she had been having second thoughts of approaching Piper.
"Could we... prove our worth to you?"
Teita was trying very hard not to quiver, but she was sure the alpha knew. Teita did want to learn, want to prove herself to both the alpha... and herself. Deep down Teita knew she needed something to bring her back from her scare. She needed that worth.
