The point remains with most artificial fibers and plastic. People lack a good dose of manufacturing lore, if you ask me - I only realized this by studying advanced chemistry.
Which is why I use cotton, even with the fact that the progress used to make it into thread and fabric wastes resources too. But atleast the resource isn't oil. neutral
