Asmaria smiled as she heard these words. "Finally, an angel with a bit of sense in her. Too bad I have to kill you so soon after meeting you." Asmaria said, swinging her bloodsword in a vertical circle by twirling it around her hand, then leaping onto the desk and swinging her sword down at the angel.

Reichelle had somehow tricked her own mind into thinking that Asmaria would be heartwarmed by the angel's dislike of fighting; the rude awakening came down upon her as the demon's sword sliced through her shoulder, causing her green eyes to widen in shock. Reichelle rolled out from under Asmaria's sword, clutching at her bloody shoulder.

So much for making friends, she thought. C'mon, Rei, you're slow. You can do better than this, she chided, narrowing her eyes and pushing herself to her feet. Carefully lowering her hand from her bleeding shoulder she raised her own sword in a defensive position, waiting for the demon to strike first.

Asmaria brought her sword to her lips and licked the angel's blood off it. "Mmm... Angel blood is so much better than the blood of the filthy humans that populate this planet." she said as she readied her sword again. "You don't mind if I help myself to more, do you?" Asmaria said, lunging toward the angel. Their blades clashed, and Asmaria pressed her weight behind her blade. "Give it up, my little cherub! You're no match for me!"

((I apologize if I don't do anything fancy during this little battle; I've not written fights very often, so I'm a bit timid about doing things with her. sweatdrop ))

Reichelle put her own weight forward against her own sword, her right foot a little behind her to support her body. She had to admit, this demon was pretty strong.

"You know," the angel replied, flaring her wings, then giving them a quick flap backwards to propel herself forward as she slid her sword away from Asmaria's and rolled out of her way, spinning around so that the vampire's own momentum had placed her with her back to Reichelle. "I liked you better when you were humming Star Wars."

((It's all right, I'm not very good at writing fights, either.))
Asmaria turned quickly around, folding her wings behind her so as not to knock anything over. She may have been a demon, but she still had respect for the shelves of books. As she faced the angel, her wings unfolded menacingly and she bared her fangs. "Well, I never liked you." Asmaria lied. She knew that she had felt something she had never felt before when she had first laid eyes on the girl, no matter how hard she tried to deny it. The feeling was somewhat how she felt towards a very good book, but then again, it was more than that. She wondered if that was how it felt to like a person. Perhaps, but since the angel had revealed herself as such, and since there was a war going on, Asmaria was forced to fight her to the death. "Prepare to die, little cherub." Asmaria said, lunging at the angel, her sword angled down. As she drew close, she swung the blade up at the angel.
