Arannis' confusion was evident on his face.
"I know nothing about Aelor, Ryn. Only that we seem to have a common.... history..."
The recollection struck him. Once before he had encountered Ryn in a similar state, and their recognition was as minimal as it seemed now.
"Perhaps we haven't met, then... My apologies."

Arannis shook his head.
"Again, this fails to bring any recollection. Perhaps I should leave you be, then..."
He turned to Ash.
"I should be in soon. I just need a bit more to pull myself together."
As he said it, he tossed a glance Kyouna's way.

"In any case we must more out of the walls of the Sanctuary, we are disrupting its energy nets too much," Ash said trying to hide the desperation in her voice. Ryn irritated her but she called to her every bit of strength to keep from acting on it lest the balance be destroyed and the world plumet into shadow.

Kyouna paid no attention to what was being said about her. She was too happy to stay where she was, still nuzzling.

Arannis looked over to Kyouna, frowning slightly.
"I can't keep you around, Kyouna... that, and I'm not sure it's entirely safe for either of us if I were to."
He looked up to Ash, an apologetic look in his eyes.

"No, no no no. Just get outside the boundry and quickly!" Ash said ushering Arannis and Kyouna out of the Sanctuary space. "There, we should be safe," Ash said sighing slightly. "The Sanctuary is a very delicate balance of all the elements. If somethings upsets that balance then..." She shook her head.

Arannis lowered his voice some.
"Ash, I know memory points to more hostility between myself and Ryn in the past, but it seems to me that this man honestly does not know me. I know of no particular reason for his coming, nor how, but I don't want to start any more trouble than absolutely necessary, please... I believe he means us no harm."
He looked over to Kyouna, almost blankly.

"Precautions still must be taken," Ash said in an equal tone to Arannis. "THere have been too many mistakes in the past regarding strangers. Ask Liallia, I'm sure she could tell you all about it,"

Kyouna kept close to Arannis, deliberately placing herself between him and Ryn's position. She looked up with a triumphant smile, as though looking for praise. She barked happily.

Ryn growled as he ripped open a portal, stepping through it without hesitation. A portal ripped open near the others, as he stepped through, a look of complete disgust appeared on his face.
"Insolent wench, you are, Ash. If you wish to know how I know your name, I will explain this. I am a Scryer, and with your mind as open as a door to a brothel in the slums, it makes extracting information from you quite easily."

Arannis looked over to Ryn.
"From any of us. What is the point to all this bickering, truly? Ash has done nothing wrong..."
He looked back to her.
"...or is there something I should be made aware of?"

Ash rolled her eyes. "My name is known to all in this realm. And yes indeed, what should qualify me as a wench?"Her eyebrows raised before she made sure her mental walls were up, there strengh rivaling Liallia's. "If it's because I made you move out of the Sanctuary then you are nothing but scum yourself,"She said with glaring eyes before turning and walking towards her horse
