just to start things off i am male
the person who i first remember telling was one of my best friends i knew she wouldn't have a problem with it cuz she is bi
but yeah i told her that i was bi-curious and that since the 3rd grade(i am now 21) i felt like i should be the opposite gender.
i remember her telling me that she was proud of me for coming out to her
the second person i told was my now ex gf i told her and then the next day she broke up with me cuz of it...
but now im am in a relationship with my awesome gf xxamazingalexx and have been for almost a year
she knows that i am bi-curious and how i have feel about my gender and is ok with everything

My coming out story merges with some major trials other than coming out. The first person I told was my mom. We were garage sale shopping and on our way home I said "Mom, I am bi and have a boyfriend" She looked at me, in shock, I could tell she wanted to cry but she said "I still love you" we discussed it and decided it was best I say in the closet with it due to the fact I was on the state swim team being trained for the olympics.
During one swim meet, the big national competition, I passed out in the water just before the finish line. (remarkably I still managed 2nd place due to the fact I was so close I drifted to the wall, though I was in first before passing out)
I went from doctor to doctor trying to discover the cause, finally discovered that I needed brain surgery. Part of my brain was putting pressure on the spinal column causing work out related headaches. The surgery went smooth, though the swim team kicked me off because I would be in the hospital too long (I was quoted 6 months recovery).
During my hospital stay I had A LOT of morphine to stop the pain. I was on a constant drip button I could press every 5 minutes. My entire family came to visit one day and brought me various gifts like puzzles and stuff, and here is the good part.
My grandmother mentioned how the back of my head was shaved and not to worry though, it will grow back and the girls will love me again. Full of morphine I turn to my mom and say out loud (really loud) "or maybe I can find me a hot army man that likes shaved hair" The room went silent.
Yeah, that was fun mending once I got out of the hospital, but my family still supports me (one side of my family, super southern baptist side, still refuses I said anything haha the jewish side laughs at them for this)
I lost a lot of swim buddies because word got out, but now I have new friends who are super awesome and open minded so I don't worry. I have a degree now so my loss of the swim team isn't quite a big deal either. All worked out in the end.
