((Sorry, would have replied sooner, but been quite sick all day ;__ wink )
Delta One paused not far away from the newcomer, seeing that she was obviously unarmed and appeared to be -relatively- harmless. She let the others speak while she searched the female in blue with her eyes, stepping closer and peering at her uniform, her gaze moving up and down as though looking for some hidden compartment. She eventually stepped back in satisfaction, nodding a little. "A map would definitely be useful," She muttered, somewhat to herself, and then rolled her eyes and sighed when Eta Seven gave what she thought of as an extremely unsatisfactory answer...but one they would have to deal with, nonetheless. Lowering her head and shaking it, she spoke. "Don't worry, I don't think anybody in this group is too eager to kill anybody else just yet. We're just trying to stick together, work together, and ultimately, survive this nightmare" She said, bitterness at the situation they were in laced in her words like poison. "Where did you travel here from? What is the situation where you came from? How many other people have you come across?" She was eager for some information, at this point, and bombarded Eta Seven with questions.

"Oh, um... well, I woke up as part of Eta squad; there were twelve of us. There was another squad there, too... Gamma squad, I think? I don't know how many of them there were. We all started in the town. This giant flaming horse appeared, and we tried to fight it, but it got away. And afterwards all but one of the Etas returned to the tent, but someone said she hadn't been left at the place where we fought the monster, so she must have survived, too. And then no one was willing to do anything, and sitting around certainly wasn't going to help... So I said I'd come down and scout the beach. I'd kind of hoped someone would come with me, but apparently they would rather sit there in 'safety'." She sounded a bit bitter herself at the last.
As far as the situation, well, supposedly they'd gotten themselves into this? She didn't remember. But the other Etas certainly didn't seem interested in getting themselves out of it, and even though she'd stepped forward to try to get them moving, no one had followed. That rankled a bit.

She listened intently to Eta Sevens words, nodding, urging her to continue. The information was lacking, and strangely unsatisfactory. She could feel her head beginning to throb, as anger began to creep back in. The same anger she felt just before the giant pony attack, the one that blinded her with red rage, making her a fearless and vicious opponent, ready to let her fists do the thinking for her. beep-beep..... beep-beep..... beep-beep..... She had her eyes clenched shut against the pain in her head and the flashes of pure rage that infected her mind. Stop...you have to stop...you were going to help these people.. beep-beep..... beep-beep...... beep-beep.... These people didn't need her help, did they? They probably wanted her dead! They were probably just biding their time..waiting until they had gained her trust and then... BEEP-BEEP BEEP-BEEP BEEP-BEE---- The noise cut into her thoughts, finally, and she couldn't take it anymore. With a growl, she grabbed at her phone, and checked the message. Four days left...Find a pendant...survive. What you are doing here is useless! She could see that now. Camped out on this beach, waiting for something..waiting for what? They had to take control here. They had to strike out. She was ready now.. But would they follow her? "We have to go." She said flatly. "We aren't going to survive this, by sitting here" She gestured to their spot in the sand. "We have to be more agressive. We have to find the pendants..... It's been two days, two, since Delta Nine and that Theta guy left us for the Dark Cove, and who knows what's become of them since then! They could be dead, and here we sit, waiting for the same to happen to us! Well I'm not sitting here anymore, waiting for a means of escape to fall into my lap!" She stopped, she had to slow down. Her dark thoughts were bubbling up to the surface and spilling out of her like her blood was eventually going to spill over these white sands if they sat here for the next four days. But she wasn't going to wait anymore, on the defensive, waiting to be picked off by the other desperate inhabitants of this island, the other greedy sons of bitches who would kill her just to better themselves in this 'game'. "I'm going" She whispered, her body shaking with pent up anger, rage, and frustration. "Come with me, if you want to try and survive. Whoever brought us here, they aren't going to reward us for hiding out and being non-confrontational" Her plan now? Kill as many as possible, and find herself one of those god damned pendants! It would help if the others in her group saw merit in her words, and came along for the ride. She was sure she couldn't take on the rest of the island alone....but she would if she had to! With her words finished, she turned and stalked off, her mind set on what she needed to do. Somewhere in the back recesses of her mind, a small voice tried to tell her that what she was doing was wrong, that she needed these people, that they needed her. She ignored it. When his own phone rang he took a look at the message. He had been content to just walk the beat. Instead though, listening to Delta One, he nodded his head. "Alright...your right, we can't stay around here, can we. Let's just hope your right, and can I trust you?" He asked, wishing he could pin the other with a look.
Even as Delta One headed off he found himself following. If this lead to him living, and Delta One somehow, he would have to thank them for this. He'd owe them, what he wasn't sure. If he died...he'd die cursing the other, especially if it was due to Delta One betraying him.

The insistent beeping of her cell-phone startled Eta VII, and without thinking she reached down to check it. She saw the first person from the group to talk to her reach down to do the same. The message caused a tight feeling in Eta VII's chest, that there was a deadline, and she wasn't making much progress in meeting it. But what could she do? She wasn't willing to kill, or even willing to condone killing, to take one of the pendants. And she doubted anyone would give one up for less than that.
When the person in front of her burst out angrily, insisting that they had to be more proactive, Eta VII agreed wholeheartedly, at least with the stated words. The offer seemed to include her as well, so after a moment to get her wits together, she jogged after the two Deltas that were making their way across the sand.

Delta Nine wasn't feeling particularly confrontational and honestly if that meant her death, well, that was just a chance she was going to have to take. At least her last minutes here wouldn't be spent killing those around her in an act of desperation over a pendant. Suddenly going out with something akin to dignity meant something to Delta Nine and she wasn't sure why.
She wasn't going to question it either.
Maybe being alone wasn't so bad, really. Maybe being alone was better. Less mess, less fuss.
Delta Nine was really starting to miss Theta Seven.
Inhaling deeply, Delta Nine watched the others leave. She didn't want to be driven by anger. She needed her mind to be clear.

(if I can still participate i would like to... came up with some RL issues that just knocked me flat for a few days, very sorry about that.)
Delta 5 opened her eyes and took a look around, suddenly finding herself very alone. Last thing she remembered was laying down to take a nap after one of the others had offered to take first watch... feeling more tired than she should have at that point. All that she remembered then was a few vague voices as some of them talked... evidentally they decided to move on ahead or split up. She wasn't too sure what had actually gone on here. "Heh... guess I can't blame them honestly. Need to keep moving and going on if you want to live through this thing...." she sighed, rubbing her head a little while sitting up and trying to take stock of the situation. Everything was still in her pack, so that was a good sign, at least they didn't loot her while sleeping.
After a few minutes of just sitting there it finally registered that her phone was going off again. "Good grief... who knows how many of these things I have by now..." Delta 5 groaned and started to flip through her messages. Most them seemed old by at least a day so she didn't even bother to reply to them... just take in what information that she could in hopes of preparing herself. Especially ones that seemed like they might be a trap. There was no way in hell she was just going to do what some of these messages said unless they specifically asked for her after what had happened to D-3 and the others.
"Hmm... wonder if any of them made it out alive... guess it can't hurt to look since I have no idea where the others went..." Delta 5 groaned a little while standing up, doing a few stretches to work some of the muscle kinks. Sleeping on the beach seemed fun and all until you really did it... then it seemed more like a bother trying to get the sand out of your mask and the chill from your bones. "Time to go 5, lets see what else they can throw at us."
