It hurt her heart to see Kikuka beg, especially for something she never should have had to ask for. Dark eyes stayed on the trapped princess's face as Jasae blundered in, all sunshine and smiles and cookies he had probably filched earlier that day. He prevented her from answering immediately, and the chime of a timer kept her again from replying. She removed a pie as Jekk drifted in and set it on a cooling rack.
The ink stains on Kikuka's hands faded from sight as they were discussed, a tiny twitch of Aren's lips the only betrayal of how.
"I'll see what I can do about the windows, Kiku," it was a soft voiced promise as she inspected the little box warily--for more reasons than just the potential plushie explosion.
"If you can spare the time, I could use some help taking these to the villagers." Her voice was even softer, but still, somehow, audible. "I kind of overdid it a bit..." She moved the box to one of the now very rare clear spots on the counter and tugged the ribbon loose. It would be nice if all the Saviors came--the villagers always like to see them, when they had the chance, and they hadn't had an outing, together, in so long.

jasae laughed and reached under the counter pulling up a picnic basket and began sneaking pastries and delicious confections into the basket
"we can stop along the way and have a picnic!"
ghost kitty wearing a bear costume filched a bear claw
smarter than your average kitty
the box contained four shiny plushies! of kikuka, jekk, jasae and aren herself! under them was also a bucket hat and an unusual belt that seemed to give off an odd feeling

Off in the nearest village, an old woman shuffled back from having gone out to collect flowers to sell. She set a big wicker basket full of them down on her usual street corner and began sorting the flowers into bunches which she tied with string.

Kiku watched her hands, keeping her face down as slowly the black and blue blots faded back into the pale white color of her skin. From underneath her blue green bangs she glanced toward Aren, a tiny twitch in one corner of her lips.
"That would be wonderful and greatly appreciated, Aren. Thank you." The lady knew that Aren could very easily prod and push the guards into being more lenient. Now, there was that whole issue of getting outside...
Kikuka's green eyes flashed to Jekk and back to Aren. "Aren, you know I always have spare time for my people and my warriors." She'd decided by now. Jekk, captain of the guard he was, wouldn't be stopping her now.
Kiku moved closer to the counter, but decided under better to avoid and not venture any closer to the new plushies on the table top.

((Yay for you posting, and boo for Gaia eating your first reply!))
Liza was placing the flower bunches in groupings according to color...
blue here, pink there, yellow in between, purple next to that, and mixed bunches right there.
((And I hope you can get your former regulars back in here, I think this is a very likable RP! Meanwhile, I'm just hanging out here amusing myself biggrin ))

a diminutive form wandered through the small nearby villiage wielding a wooden mallet and looking around curiously
"i taught i saw a puddy cat!"
it was a fuzzy ball with arms, legs, a pair of curled horns, a large mouth and blue eyes

Liza was just putting all the bunches of flowers randomly back into her basket when she noticed the fuzzy little ball wandering by.
"Why 'ello ther." she said to the creature.

"Oh, yes!" Liza replied cheerfully. "It uz out in th' fields near the blue... no, tha's not it, it was by th' ittle ellow daisies... no, wait." Then Liza shook her head and skewed her mouth all to one side, thinking. "Nah, tha' uzn't'a cat onna blue'n'green watchtower... it uzza tree wit'a black'n'white kitty walkin' near it."
Then the stooped old woman sorta laughed a little, a bit of a wheezy chuckling sound. "Wan' sum flawrs?"

Aurelia woke up unsure of where she was or what had happened. There was a different feel to myria, lighter somehow. She opened her eyes and was greeted with the familiar darkness. But even that darkness seemed lighter. She grabbed her violin and slung it onto her back. She picked up her staff and used it as a walking staff. She listened carefully for people but heard nothing so she continued her trek. Her staff hit a wall, Aurelia carefully reached her hands out and felt the wall. There was something familiar about the wall. 'Could it be the castle?' she wondered.
