south park is dumb the creaters are they are heartless for this read this south park is dumb i hope they get banned for this isn't funny sad
The US TV network behind the cartoon South Park today defended a controversial new episode that lampoons dead crocodile hunter Steve Irwin.
The episode, shown in America on Wednesday night on Comedy Central, depicts a bloody Irwin with the stingray that killed him still attached to his chest.
He attends a Halloween party thrown by the devil - where other guests include Hitler and Diana, Princess of Wales - but is kicked out because he is not in fancy dress.
But Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox said the network had no qualms about showing the episode and would do so again.
"The South Park guys do inappropriate things all the time, that's what they do," he said.
"Their goal is to make people laugh, not to offend people.
I think they went too far in my view I feel so sad for Terri and her family I hope they don't see this just plain bad.
