I would love to be a mod. As a mod, I would try to educate those about Invader Zim and all of the shows glory... And more than just GIR (Seriously, I have cousins and classmates who say they love Zim and only know about GIR... It kinda saddens me that a lot of Invader Zim fans are only GIR fans...). I will also try to educate people about things about Jhonen, Nny, and reasons Invader Zim was cancelled. I've been a fan of Invader Zim since it first aired (I know this for fact. I found my old sketch book from when I was like six and it had a drawing of Zim and Dib and some fan character I made O.o I'm glad my drawing skills have improved)
I've also seen practically every episode that was actually animated, listened to the audio for episodes that have never been animated, and even raid fanfiction.net and wikipedia.org for some stuff. I've been part of the council for the Vex of Irkens, a neopets Invader Zim fan guild and know a lot of things. My youtube and fanfiction accounts are nearly fully dedicated to Invader Zim and JTHM stuff. I even made a Nick account just to read what some fans that have a tolerance to stand by Nick actually do! (I was close enough to learning Irken, in fact!)

Oh, and if I act obnoxiously n00bish, I apologize... I constantly have off days and since I started doing more and more research on Jhonen Vasquez, his life, and his past (I haven't succeeded much in digging deeper into his life than his high school days and the creation of HNB and the orignial Johnny) I also get kinda lazy with my grammar.

I agree wholeheartedly with the mindset of the original poster,in the sense that there are so many people online,who appear to be smart at first,then you hang around them awhile,and their n00bish skills tend to start leaking out. domokun
Not that I've seen any of those traits in people here on gaia. burning_eyes
Of course,I've been busy with other stuff...so what do I know? sweatdrop
I'd ask to be made a mod,however...I think that would be a lost cause,since I'm not around very much.

I could be a mod if you need. Unlike most people here, I am a mod in another guild. I know what to do, and I go on there about twice a day and fix things/accept join requests/kick people out. well, what I am trying to say is, I know what I'm doing and usually don't need to be told.
Oh, and it would be a great honor to be a mod in the best Invader Zim Guild ever! *hehe, I love my tallest xp *

Tallest Red Okay, there are two issues that I'd like to address in this thread. First of all, bannings. It has come to my attention by looking through some threads around here, that it is far too easy for people to fake their way in to the guild in the "request to join." Then, when they actually get in the guild, their illiteracy shows. Sorry, but that's just not going to happen. (This is not in reference to people who have English as a second language, this is people who are too lazy to maintain something that's any semblance of English, like n00b-speak). So I'm asking everyone in the guild, if they see a member who is exceptionally n00bish and annoying, please PM me with their username, and several links to threads that proves this person is taking away from the experience of the guild more than they are contributing due to difficult to understand posts. You WILL remain anonymous. I will never give out names of those who report this to me. Some of you may be asking, "What is n00bish anyway? What are things to watch out for/make sure I'm not doing?" Simple. A-ny posts that are incomprehensible due to n00b speak (where everything's abbreviated or acronyms.. like "plz" "thx" "OMG U R" ..stuff like that. I really don't give a crap if someone occasionally goes LOL or something, but if their entire vocabulary consists of "LOL U R FUNNIE" .. then BZZT! You lose.) -Anyone who stretches the damn page unnecessarily (I just deleted posts from a member in question who spelled the word "rocks" as "rox" but with 80 billion x's, causing the page to be stretched beyond belief) -Anyone who spams or even harasses other guild members. -Huge stupid run-on sentences, but these usually are accompanied by heavy n00b-speak, so chances are they'd be identified as that before a run-on. I just put this here just in case. -All caps lock. x.x NOTE: I do not care if you make a few spelling mistakes. There are some people who apply and have a perfect grasp of grammar aside from a misplaced comma and a few words that aren't spelled right, but that's really not a problem at all. I'm not ridiculously picky. I just want to save this place from becoming more of an incomprehensible mess that some threads here are. Which brings me to my second point. We need more mods. Anyone interested, please post here with WHY you want to be a mod and what you hope you can do for the guild, and I'll put you under consideration. That's it for now. whats a mod? question

I could be a mod. I have always wanted to be one, and why not be a mod for my favorite guild about my favorite show! xD
I know I haven't really been into this guild so far, but that was because of a darn RP. >.< GRRR INVADER ZIM RPGs! Anyhoo, It'd be awesome to be a mod in this guild, and I would apreciate it if you would consider me. Thanks.
