It always saddens me that so many guilds don't have a lot of people and thus not many posts. ;_;
Have you tried searching through interests that are relevant to the guild and sending guild invitations to the people you find? Just now I received an invitation to a ballet guild, and the only possible reason I can see why is that I have ballet listed as an interest, since I haven't really posted about it anywhere.
You could search a lot of things, like "recycling", "meditation", and "natural products". 3nodding

I've already spread word of our existence to two other guilds, asking for affiliation or at least a friendly link. Hopefully that'll get us a few members.
That is a good idea, though. I'll do it tomorrow, when I have lots of time to check the moderator panel.

We now have a guild mule! Her name is HippieMule. She has been promoted to Vice Captain. Should I appoint crew members in the future, they will have access to that account so that the guild can be managed in case I disappear from Gaia or something.
If you want to donate to the guild, please send gold to that account (because donating to the guild only contributes to things like subforums, while sending it to the mule means I can use it for prizes and other fun stuff).

I've sent out a bunch of invitations today, to people with interests like "environmentalism," "saving the world," and so on.
My next step will probably to send a friendly reminder PM to people who have joined but have 0 posts.

In lieu of a newsletter (goodbye, friends@gaia), I've set up a sort of "guild news" option in the mule journal. If you want to stay on top of things, please friend her, or at least read it once in a while.
