That certainly is a persuasive article, but for every article you find trying to prove the link between mercury in vaccines and autism you will find another trying to dispell that theory, as well.
And the author of this article wants to know where all the 20 year old autistics are? Well, I know of quite a few here:
Autistic Adults Picture Project
And here:
WrongPlanet.net
You also have to be wary of an article that has atleast three errors that have been corrected, and also one that was printed in "Rolling Stone," of all places.
A couple of articles arguing why autism is not linked to vaccines:
The REAL Story- Vaccines DO NOT Cause Autism
Weight of Science Shows No Link Between Vaccines & Autism

You always have to be careful where you are getting your information from on any topic, not just getting both sides of an arguement. And you always have to be critical of anything you have put in your body. Do your own research and ask specialists and never take anybody's word as true until you get the facts themselves. My mom was nearly killed twice with the prescriptions that doctors had given her. Remember your primary care doctor may not specialize in the feild you have questions about or are getting treatment for, he or she is human and cannot know all the specialties of medical knowledge, so if it's something specialized find someone who's specialized in it. : )
Now for the first article if you had looked at the bottom of the page you would have gotten this notification.
Quote:
*Dr. Wile is not a medical doctor. He is a nuclear chemist. As a result, he does not dispense medical advice. He simply educates the public about scientific issues. Please consult a board-certified medical doctor before making any medical decisions for yourself or your family.
Not what I would call a specialist in the field.
But the second one I would find to be a reliable sourse with his credentials.
Quote:
Peter J. Hotez, MD, PhD is professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology and Tropical Medicine, The George Washington University, and senior fellow of the Albert Sabin Vaccine Institute. He is also visiting professor of the Institute of Parasitic Diseases of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine in Shanghai.
So I'm more likely to follow the second's opinion. Rather than someone who has a doctorate in another field or a Rolling Stone's journalist.
