Atae checked her own person again before following Terasu in, chuckling to herself. Boy, weren't they a pair.
"Is that all you really have to do? Wander around?" Aside from the time she spent with Ed and Terasu here as a kit she couldn't really remember ever having anything to do when she was around HQ... o.0

A pair indeed. So long as they had innocent fun, that's all that mattered. Terasu grinned as he walked. "Wander wander. It's what I do in between that time is what counts." He said it as if it was a common knowledge before peeking at Atae. "Besides, HQ is too boring to be a home to come back to." Waay too boring.

Atae laughed and snorted almost at the same time when he finished his statement about HQ. "Tell me about it... if you and Ed weren't here once in a while I don't know that I'd come around at all. At least at home I can watch Ifrit argue with the furniture when he's drunk." Not that Ifrit was the only source of entertainment at home... just one of the most humorous.

"I honestly don't know why I bother anymore. Oh well, I end up always bumping into someone anyways." Sometimes even kitsus he'd known for awhile. Yeah, HQ had its uses. The tidbit about Ifrit, whoever that may be, had him cracking up. "Sounds like something Ronan would do." He chuckled some more at the image.

Atae giggled. She couldn't remember if she'd ever actually met Ronan... but the idea of two Ifrits playing bad-cop good-cop with the lawnchair came to mind and she almost doubled over laughing. "Imagine both of them together... poor furniture!"

"Good grief!" What images, and the fact that they were so believable was hilarious. "We'd have to move all the furnishings out of harm's way." How fun. This was probably the closest they could get to old times of hanging out. "We'd have to try that sometime." Just toss those two together and watch the chaos follow. XD

Atae knew what he meant but she stuck her tongue out and asked anyway, "What? Moving the furniture or getting them together to torment a lampshade?" Oh gawd. She really did double over at that one.

He rolled his eyes and poked at her shoulder. "hahaha.." That would be a fun event, if he could just find rainbow butt to pull it off. "I guess I'll have to find Ronan and meet Ifrit sometime."

"Well I guess if you're bored sometime you can wander toward my place... Ifrit's a bit of a night owl so he's usually around during the day." She pointed in the general direction of her dwelling. "Big white house, pool in the back, about 30 minutes from here. Not that you can't miss it, but... it's still there." She didn't really feel like walking home yet or she'd just show him.

"Heh, sounds good. Especially the pool." He sat back with a slight yawn. What an ride of emotions for one afternoon. At least in Terasu's case...
He soon slid forward till he was on his belly and rested his head on his paws. "So whatcha going to do now?"

Atae flopped down next to him and stared up at the cieling. "I dunno, really. I just felt like getting out of the house. Was sorta hoping to run into you... or Ed... not really expecting Ed, but eh." She shrugged.

Terasu nodded quietly. "Yeah, good luck finding Ed. When he wants to be alone, he wants to be alone." Something he was quite good at. He huffed out a long breath, pondering how time flew in such odd ways. At least now they spoke and released their burdens.

Atae grinned a grin that wasn't entirely happy. "He's way too good at disappearing, is our little Ed." And she was getting sleepy now that she'd burned off some of her energy and restlessness. "Mmm... maybe I ought to head back, though. Haven't been sleeping much lately and it's catching up to me." And she just didn't quite feel safe sleeping here for some reason.

Eyes caught the torn grin, but said nothing of it. Some burdens just remained that they couldn't talk off. A grin was his response. "Just...don't call him little when you see him." He blinked to her, seeing they both had tired themselves. "You're leaving? Well...I hope you get your sleep." He lifted himself to hug her goodbye.

She sat up to return the hug. "At least now you have some idea where to look for me when I go. Maybe if we both make enough shots in the dark we'll actually see eachother more often." She ruffled his hair and made a silly face at him before she headed for the door. "Take care of yourself, ok?"
