We just got 2 new horses at the barn named Mariah and Nikki, and OMGOSH they are drop dead gorgeous! One is a bay TWH and the other is a flee-bitten Arabian. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can. (Possibly tonight) So yeah. ^_^
Norman is for sale now. I knew my mom would end up selling him the moment I heard she bought him, but that's her mistake. I told her to get a nice quiet QH or something along those lines, but she never listens to me. Instead, she gets a 16hh GREEN A.C. draft horse. He's only 3 years old, and he's difficult to handle. He only has about 10 hours under saddle. Duh!
Oh, well. The county fair opens next week so we're going to post fliers there. He's also on equinehits.com, so hopefully someone will come along.

I rode Victor last night for the first time in weeks, and he did amazing. 4laugh We worked on getting his balance centered and making his trot smoother, and I noticed a difference in like 15 minutes! The fact that he was tired probably had something to do with it, but whatever. >.< I'm going out again tonight and my instructor is going to get on her horse so I can actually see what she's talking about, so hopefully I can fix his trot and start working on his lope soon.
Victor has this thing on his hip, and it's just like this hard contusion that he's had since he was a colt. (Supposedly he got kicked when he was a baby) I thought it might be serious for a while because I didn't know if he really did get kicked, but a friend of the new horse owner was out last night and she said that it was just a plate of bone that had calcified. *phew* It doesn't seem to be painful or affect the movement of his leg, so it's all good. ^^ I also just recently learned that Victor used to compete in 3-day eventing and stuff like that. I had no idea. O.o

I went out last night, and I practically had to run Norman into the ground. He was sooo hyper. confused He has to be kept in his stall because lately he's been kicking fence posts down. stressed That's part of the reason we're selling him.
Victor, on the other hand, was an angel. 4laugh heart He LOVES the 2 new mares! He got left alone in the pasture while Mariah and Nikki went up to the barn to eat, and he ran around, searching the whole pasture for them. It was really cute, but kinda sad. >.< I might ride tonight. He's getting really good about listening. 3nodding
