This is a sticky where members can talk about whether they like the DNAngel manga or anime better, and why. Whether it be because of character differences, or simply because you don't like one of the two, please explain your preference.
Since this topic is now a sticky, any new threads made about comparing the DNAngel anime and manga will be sent straight to thread hell.

The manga goes in much more depth and the characters look more detailed more too - so I'd say the manga. =)

KumikoxChan The manga goes in much more depth and the characters look more detailed more too - so I'd say the manga. =) I second that. The anime is cute though, plus a lot of favorite seiyuus are in it.

I like both the anime and the manga, though I wish the anime could be longer.

I love the anime, but the manga is just so much cooler. More about the characters, funnier, and just over all better. I just wish that they would list a release date for the 12th one in America.

I really liked both, but I liked the manga better. It had more character development than the anime, and since it hasn't ended yet, it has a much more flowing storyline. The anime pretty much just ends abruptly. Although, I do wish that Mio Hio had been in the manga and that Keiji Saga was in the anime. They both rock.

i gotta say the manga. i've seen the entire anime series, and read half of the manga series. the anime was fun and cool (even more so cause vic played dark heart ~risembool ranger here~), but the manga seems to have more meaning to it. it has all the incredible scenes (volume 3 is my favorite!) and so much going on all at once! and it's hilarious. the anime on the other hand i have noticed that a lot of the episodes are the bonus chapters from the manga. they didn't have my favorite parts from volume 3 (it made me sad)! and everything just seems so different. anyone agree with any of this?

I would have to say the anime, for i've loved "moving cartoons" for all my life, though i would have to say that the manga had a greater flow to it...

i say that that the anime is better because there are voices!! and you get to see color instead of the constant black and white >.<

i would choose the manga. i have the whole anime series and it was okay. it had a whole different story line, but was pretty cool. the manga had more plot and i just love the art. plus, the manga had some awesome parts that the anime didn't have.

I prefer the manga because there's more interactions between the main characters in the story. The plot was much more detailed and weaved-together, and the characters were more fully developed. Some of the "funny" moments in the manga aren't shown in the Anime (which I was a little disappointed about). Sugisaki Yukiru's artwork is absolutely beautiful, and I hope that she finishes the manga soon. *wishes upon a star*
^-^
