me_v_8725 does anyone know if theres gonna be another silent hill movie?or any horror movies..... As far as Silent Hill goes . . . I really haven't heard anything. I have a feeling that they left the ending the way they did (like a bad ending of the game) to make another one . . . I HOPE they do.

Well, according to IMDB's synopsis (which I don't want to trust after IMDB's little cast of RE5 fiasco, the second movie, like the game, won't have anything to do with the characters of the first one.

Yeah, but now you don't have to worry about them ruining it by handing the ending over on a silver platter or anything. It can be interpreted forever, and still we can get a sequel.

I don't feel like the first movie needs a sequel, I hope they just start off with brand new characters and a brand new story. Here is an article/interview where Gans talks about what he would change with the first movie and a little info about a second.

Apparently Gans and some other members of the team are working on something else at the moment so they won't be in charge of the next movie.

Yes, this troubles me as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but as of right now, I don't believe that SH2 will be as good as the first SH movie.

From the new stuff they have posted on IMDB about the second Silent Hill movie it sounds like it may be about the third game, anyone else get that feeling?

If it really is following SH3 and the reporter turns out to be the focus of movie it would be kind of lame. I hope that he just functions as a Douglas character.

Pseudokai Apparently Gans and some other members of the team are working on something else at the moment so they won't be in charge of the next movie. Yeah, they're working on an Onimusha movie right now. They REALLY WANTED to do SH2, but I'm guessing the movie studio folk here impatient and moved on without 'em.
