I really don't consider the things from 28 Days Later to be zombies.

They are infected, though, not undead... Zombies are usually corpses reanimated by a virus or some other odd method. In Night of the Living Dead, the original, the news people reported that radiation from a fallen satellite was reviving the recently dead and in getting bitten or killed by the corpses would do the same. In 28 Somethings Later, it is because of the Rage Virus. Hmmmm... where as 28 Somethings Later, the infected are dangerously fast and have projectile vomit, they are easily dispatched like normal humans, although they take a few more hits. In Night, they can only be killed by destroying the ENTIRE body or the Brain, and fire could keep them at bay. In the sequels, since the initial radiation victims are fewer compared to the infected through being bitten and killed, the scientist in Day of the Dead studies them for what is different between the corpses and people, and the reasoning for why. It is suspected of either a virus or bacterial infection. And in City of the Dead, they redevelop more reasoning skills and therefore become a roving horde of semi-intelligent beings and since they definitely outnumber humans, that can be seen as a dangerous adversary compared to brain-dead creatures that just bum-rush and try to puke on you.

When you said City of the Dead, did you mean Land of the Dead?

Yeah, my bad... wasn't it originally titled City of the Dead? That is what I usually go by with that movie for some reason...

No, actually, the original title was "Dead Reckoning" (yes, the name of the big Anti-Zombie vehicle), but then they called it Land of the Dead.

Umm... You might be thinking of the Resident Evil novel based on RE2. That was named "City of the Dead".

No, I found it the source of why I call it CotD. City of the Dead is the god awful video game tie-in to the movie.

Ohh, right. The Xbox exclusive, wasn't it?

Ah, the curse of movie based games.

You're thinking "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green" or something like that. Not bad if you buy it at a discount price, but you've been cheated if you actually bought that new.

City of the Dead was a George Romero vidya game that never came out. Lord knows if it would've been good or not but yeah.

So if it never came out... It can't really be decided as god awful, can it?

Well, I automatically assumed that if Land of the Dead was what came out, then it was the same game that had been pushed out to tie in with the movie.
