Alright, everyone (and by that I currently mean Aeridea and I), how can we get Novos back up? I'll list the suggestions here, as we get more.
1) Clean up the forum a lot, a bit of starting over from scratch
2) Figure out exactly what it is we want out of Novos, and what we want it to provide. Included here would be a clear, explicit list of our purposes.
3) Go back to ED and advertise. We need new members, obviously, and that's the only place we can get them.

One thing I've been trying to do is anytime I have a thought that could possibly have anything to do with Novos, I make a thread on it.
What kind of cleaning should we do? I mean, it's hard to get rid of any threads in here, because each one has a certain idea that has a lot of potential. Maybe we could look it over, and if there's more discussion, we post in it, and if not, we could make a topic of past discussions? That way there could still be some record of it, even if we do delete it.

That's a good idea, making a "past threads" section. I guess what I'm getting at is just making Novos look shiny and new for potential members.

Guess I better return to my janitorial duties at this guild.

mostly it was just clearing all off-topic posts, and if I was going to delete a thread, I gave a week or two notice, so people could save any conversations they wanted to keep in there.
So now before deleting a thread, I could put a summary of it and other key points mentioned in it in a "past threads" thing.

Swordmaster Dragon That's a good idea, making a "past threads" section. I guess what I'm getting at is just making Novos look shiny and new for potential members. Do you see the 'archived threads' subforum? That's where I was moving all the old, worn out, threads last time I spent any real time working in this guild.
