Okay, so what do you think about marriages now compared to marriages from the past. Now it's, 'i like you and you like me. Let's get marry and see what happens'. Some one you've been with for like a good amount of time, or enough to make you think about marriage.

Back then, it was more arranged marriages, marrying someone you've never perhaps met before, having to get to know them after marriage and ya know, learning to love them, if it's possible.

I personally can't agree with arrange marriages and I don't like how marriages are like right now too. I don't like that face that some people just get marry for the heck of it, moving too fast and then like couple of years later, like 3, they get divorce because it's not working out for both of them. And they don't care about what happens to their kids.

My parents were 'arranged' you can say somewhat. They've never really known each other until they got marry. They are very modest, even now, they are still marry to this day. (I think it's been 25-30 years) They fight, they talk, and they get along. For my parents, I think they are pretty good together, they may be very different, trust me, they are very different. And yet, they've been together for this long. Between my parents and their friends, alot of their friends who has have the privilege to get to know their partner before marriage are divorced now. It just made me wonder about arrange marriages and marriages now....

Hm, let me see. I'm not a big fan of arranged marriages either, maybe because it's not something people really do in the U.S. Funny thing is, my parents are splitting up now, but I still plan on getting married somewhere down the line. I'm not for sure if I will, but I hope to get married one day. A lot of my friends parenta have been together since they were 16, and it's amazing really. I mean, to hear my friends stories of how their parents met and when the actually got married and so on and so on. I think my bestfriend's parents were arranged to marry, but it's not a good marriage.

Marriage age. Hm, I think you are allowed to get married when you are 15 in Kansas. I'm not too sure, it could've changed. o.o;; I have no idea why someone would want to get married that young, but then again people think differently than I do.
