Welcome to the Contest Subforum.All members are welcome to use this and have fun participating in the contests here.
There are just a few things you should keep in mind:
- Always follow Guild Rules and Gaia ToS.
- Members who create and run their own Contests, please note you may not request material that should not be posted here in the guild. (please see the Rules if there are any questions and/or doubts about this.)
- Never Flame anyone when reviewing a story- keep it constructive, even if you don’t like the submitted material.
- All Contests should have a clear beginning and end. (as in a date submissions should start, then stop) And after a Contest has ended, we ask that you try to announce the winners ASAP- the timeline is up to you those who run the Contests, since they have to read and review them. The Crew and Captain are not in charge of this unless it is a Guild run Contest.
- Prizes/Awards are up to the Contest Creator.
- If you are a Contest Creator and do not hold up to your end of the promised prizes (if any) then you may be banned from running Contests again.
- No one is being forced to supply a prize for a contest.
- Story submissions should be links only- post them on FF.Net to be read.
- Members may post links to other contests that they run or have seen either around Gaia or offline as long as they do not go against Guild Rules and/or Gaia ToS.
