I.Y. 0- Time is recorded by scribes writing on walls, tablets, and wood. people become sedentary, and the first farms are created, as well as herders.
I.Y. 25- Griknus establishes the first walled city and conscripts the first known army.
I.Y. 50- Griknus, by this time, has established the first true empire and bore four sons and six daughters. Discovery of bronze forging is made.
I.Y. 60- Griknus passes away, and his eldest son, Wrestborn, takes the throne.
I.Y. 65- The reik-human war with the first empire of Anthelos begins.
I.Y. 67- Wrestborn is killed by his jealous little brother, who in turn is slain by the next youngest, who takes the throne, under the name Daedalus.
I.Y. 68- The first human Empire is nearly destroyed, save the capital. Daedalus does wonders defending it.
I.Y. 72- The capital city's Forces, after four long years under constant siege, massed up for a counterattack and won. the city is named Daedalon, and Daedalus earns the title, "Daedalus the Tenacious". The reiks are scattered into nomadic tribes by the sheer fury of his repeated assaults.
I.Y. 79- Iron is first discovered and used in crude forms.
I.Y. 81- Gryk population rises greatly. Another, smaller empire is founded to the east of the first, under the leadership of Aelthwynn the wise. She finds out how to purify and mold Iron.
I.Y. 84- Daedalus dies against a gryk chieftain, heralding the end of his empire and the beginning of the human-Gryk wars. Daedalus's firstborn takes the throne, under the name Heckwoth.
I.Y. 85- Heckwoth leads his father's great empire into ruin, which is claimed by Aelthwynn the wise. Though a strong leader, even she cannot break the war with the Gryks. Heckwoth dies trying to flee from angered peasants.
I.Y. 88-Aelthwynn dies of a mysterious malady. the Gryks destroy Daedalon, and Aelthwynn's seven great generals start grabbing land for their own empires.
I.Y. 92- The seven great generals have left their countries in bad condition. the dark ages of Humanity begin. long treasured secrets are lost, and iron working is thought lost.
I.Y. 100- The mysterious malady that claimed Aelthwynn's life now grips the land. humanity believes itself lost. the plague infects gryks and humans alike.
The war is brought to a standstill.
I.Y. 115- The plague dies down, leaving humanity, reiks, and gryks severely crippled.
I.Y. 116- Humanity begins to take life again. notable rise in gryk population. Iron working is found once more.
I.Y. 123- Five empires are now carved out in Anthelos. They are led by Delaney the fat, Mogli the quick, Ashkur the brave, Vaust the demented, and Golem the giant. The human-gryk wars begin anew.
I.Y. 129-Cast-Iron working is found by Vaust, who then kills the creator after obtaining the secret and keeps it hidden, save for his elite soldiers. Granthos is born.
I.Y. 134- The battle of the raging boar is fought, killing Ashkur and one of the Gryk's chieftains. Ashkur is replaced by Bairn the yellow.
I.Y. 138- The great library is founded by Vaust the demented.
I.Y. 139- The great library is burned down by Vaust the demented.
I.Y. 140- The great library is rebuilt by Vaust the demented.
I.Y. 142- Vaust passes away, replaced by his daughter, Lily the crazed. Delaney the fat dies from a heart condition, and is replaced by Doxy the cheery. Golem the giant was presumed dead after a close scrape with an ancient gryk, and is replaced by Mellon the conquerer.
I.Y. 145- Lily the Crazed goes on a rampage on Anthelos. Granthos appeals to many, and soon gains an army.
I.Y. 146- Granthos gains much more strength and many more men through use of diplomacy and force. Lily begins to fear for her life.
I.Y. 147- Granthos now owns well over Half of the human lands. Lily, seeing the threat, tries to assassinate Granthos at a feast, but fails and is slain herself. Granthos takes her kingdom, now controlling the human lands.
I.Y. 150- Granthos had been building his forces for a final attack on the Gryks, to decide the rulers of Anthelos. The battle-legions are so huge, the gore crows blot out the sun. The gods themselves take part in this battle. After three days of fighting to a standstill, Angstrom breaks the tie and assists Granthos. Granthos beheads a gryk chieftain, ending the battle.
There were nearly two million lives lost this bloody day.
Granthos is coronated in the blood of his enemies on the battlefield as undisputed ruler of Anthelos. The golden age begins.
I.Y. 152- Ragnus gives Granthos the chosen steel as a gift for the mighty battle two years prior. Floomier gives currency, for uniting all Anthelos.
I.Y. 157- Medicine is put into practice and purified. A medical college is created.
I.Y. 199/200- Granthos dies as the bells toll in the new year. once more, the land is divided.
