Oh. A'cause I did. xD On Saturday. My uncle found one for me. Been playing constantly. Somebody buy me more games!
Now who wants to come over and play? =D And I thank Pvt Tamama for wasting my time arguing about the Wii. It's called an OPINION. No need to judge me and all Nintendo lovers and bring up Hitler for nothing. Really, nobody gives a damn.

How is it lame? I don't see the Xbox 360 or the PS3 having motion sensor controls. It's a major jump in technology, verses a jump in graphics and gameplay. The Wii's making history here!

I thought we were just talking about the "lame controls".
Well... let's say you took a game made for the Wii and stuck it in another system. Would it be much fun? No. The controllers give you a better feeling of control over the games.
And I didn't say I liked it BECAUSE of it's gameplay. I just said that I liked the thought of technology better. It could change the world one day, just you wait.

It could change the world one day, just you wait. The thing is... games aren't that much fun on the Wii in the first place... the controls are badly done, awkward and just plain not very good... I think most would be better on other consoles anyway... Like Red Steel. The wii is a console designed for the family... not for gamers... I run a NINTENDO (woo) themed guild, I wouldn't be saying it's bad... unless it's bad. You'll get board of it in a week or two...So did HitlerNo I said you like it despite the bad gameplay/graphics/speed/reponsiveness/good games/good online service/other features... is that really what you want to sacrifice in return for some gimicky controls? If so, you are no gamer. I would also like to ask you one question, which games consoles have you had in the past?

If common sense serves me right, I believe I remember "gamer" being defined as 'one who plays games'. Who says a family can't be gamers? Maybe it's designed for families because that's the way Nintendo's always been. The first game system released to homes was called the "Family Computer". The Wii is also the cheapest of the revolution consoles. Probably because it is aimed at families. Not everybody has tons of money to burn on expensive things. And what makes you think it'll bore me in a few weeks? You don't know me.
Once again, the definition of "gamer" is 'one who plays games'. Just because somebody has more expensive complex systems with different quality games does not distinguish them from anybody else with a different game system. Simply anybody and everybody can be a gamer.
Now that you mention it, I'm so hardcore Nintendo because that's all I've known my entire life. We own just about every Nintendo game system ever made. And I do have a PS2, a Sega Dreamcast, and a Sega Genesis Obviously I might like Nintendo more since I don't own most of other game company's consoles. I don't see why we're arguing about the Wii since I can't say I have an Xbox360 or a PS3. -shrug- So this is quite pointless.

I have every Nintendo Console since I was born, however I dislike the wii. A family can be gamers but that would be pretty wierd... This statement obviously shows a lack of understanding of the definition of a gamer, If I were to stack three bricks ontop of each other so I could change a lightbulb, would that make me a builder/Rock climber/electrician? You are using such a loose definition it's painful. They are not true gamers. Simply anybody and everybody can be a gamer. That statement outlines exactly what is wrong with Nintendo's Attitude.

That's exactly why I stopped posting, Melon. What really is the point of arguing the friggin' meaning of a gamer? There is no point. Everybody's different. And everybody has different opinions about different things. Arguing can be pretty damn pointless sometimes...
And you can come over whenever you'd like, Melon. I never have anybody to play with. Everybody's too busy for me. ^^

You might like Elebits. It's totally pointless and random, but it takes no brain to do anything. xD
Or Warioware.... or just plain Mario Party. *shrug* haven't seen you game since the Maplestory days.
