Story: In the year 200X, master robot designer Dr. Thomas Light, and his assistant, Dr. Wily, worked on a project to create human-like robots with advanced intelligence. They created a robot, their first success, which was named Protoman. Protoman was a robot that was human like in all ways. With the success of the project, he then builds six more of the Robot Masters to be used for industrial purposes: Cut Man, whose first purpose was to cut down trees for loggers; Guts Man, whose purpose was to pick up huge rocks for building houses; Ice Man, who was meant to be used for Arctic exploration; Bomb Man, who was meant to open blocked caves; Fire Man, who was used to make fuel by burning logs; and Elec Man, to provide inexpensive electrical power. After these robots, Dr, Light made two housecleaning robots, Rock and Roll. Mega Man Powered-Up features two additional robots Who were meant to be in the original : Time Man and Oil Man. The project was a great success, and for his work on it, Light was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics.
Around this time, Dr. Wily grew envious of Light, and stole the prototype. This robot, named Proto Man (originally called Blues in the Japanese version), was in danger of having his energy generator going critical. Wily gave him a nuclear energy supply to extend his life, and learned much about creating robots from studying his design. (He also likely learned the means to reprogram Light's robots from this.)
Wily snuck into Light's lab one night and reprogrammed the robots, but he failed to reprogram Rock and Roll (who still operated on an earlier system,) and made his getaway. When Light found out that Wily had escaped with the Robot Masters, it was too late, as Wily had already sent his new robotic army out to conquer the city.
Rock, having a strong sense of justice, volunteered to be converted into a fighting robot to stop Dr. Wily and his minions and restore peace to the city.
Characters: Mega Man — Tool assistant, originally known as Rock (or Mega in the remake), created and modified by Dr. Light to combat Wily. Dr. Albert W. Wily — The antagonist of the game, his goal is world domination. He appears as the final boss in a hovering ship (at first a tank-like machine in the remake). Dr. Thomas Light — Creator of Mega Man, aids Mega Man on his adventure to stop Dr. Wily. Roll — Mega Man's sister, she makes her debut in this game, though in the NES version her name is not mentioned. She is only seen at the ending of the credits in the NES version, but she can be downloaded in the PSP remake as a playable character. Robot Masters — The various industrial robots built by Dr. Light, reprogrammed by Dr. Wily to do his bidding. They become playable characters in the PSP remake. There were six in the original game, but there are eight in the remake.

Story The instruction manual for Mega Man X contains "The Journal of Dr. Cain", in which the story leading up to the events depicted in the game is narrated through excepts of Dr. Cain's personal journal. According to the journal, Dr. Cain, an archaeologist searching in the year 21XX for fossil records relating to Mesozoic plant life, accidentally discovered the ruins of a robotics research facility that had once been operated by the legendary robot designer Dr. Thomas Light. Among the ruins, Dr. Cain found a large capsule which contained a highly advanced robot the likes of which the world had never seen before. This robot, Mega Man X, had human-level intelligence and emotion. Fascinated by the genius of Dr. Light's design, Dr. Cain studied X and Dr. Light's few remaining notes. With X's help, some months later, the first "replicate android" or Reploid (in Japan, Repliroid), a robot who can think, feel, learn, and grow exactly like a human, was made. Within the year, the design had been standardized and Reploids were being mass-produced.
However, with the free will given to a Reploid came the possibility of criminal activity previously unknown to robots; such rogue Reploids were said to have "gone maverick" and were later referred to as Mavericks (in Japan, Irregulars). As the public outcry against the few Maverick incidents became too great to deny, the government stepped in, and under the advice of Dr. Cain, formed an elite military police organization called the Maverick Hunters. The Hunters would capture or disable any Reploids that posed a danger to humans, provide damage control at Maverick uprisings, help with disaster recovery, and perform other tasks as needed.
For the leader of the Maverick Hunters, Dr. Cain designed a very special Reploid, one with a very advanced thought system. This Reploid, thought to be immune to whatever defect of manufacture, design, or social conditioning caused Mavericks, was named Sigma. Sigma headed the Hunters for about three years before the very head of the Maverick Hunters himself became a Maverick, taking the vast majority of the other Hunters with him. Sigma seized control of a small island and drove all human occupants out. Claiming that the humans were "inferior" and that they were limiting the growth and potential of Reploids, he called for his followers to begin a massive extinction effort. It seemed, with only one remaining Hunter able to fight (the mysterious Zero of Unit 17), that all would be lost and human extinction would become inevitable. But X, guilt-ridden at having helped design such a ruthless and warlike race, decided to join forces with Zero and attempt to stop Sigma at any cost.
Characters Mega Man X X is heralded as being the first robot to think for himself, as well as having his own feelings and emotions. He was discovered by Dr. Cain in a capsule sealed by Dr. Light to be opened thirty years later after he was encapsulated (although X was in actually sealed for 100 years). Using X as inspiration, Dr. Cain created a new race of robots called Reploids. Some of these robots turned "maverick" and began to threaten the existence of the human race. X feels it is his duty to protect humans, which serves as the main conflict between the Reploids and the Mavericks.
Zero Created by Dr. Wily in the past, Zero was the last of the doctor's creations and was based off of X's model. He was once a maverick as shown in Mega Man X4, yet was defeated by Sigma and studied by Doctor Cain and joined the Maverick hunters. Now Zero allies with X in his fight to defeat the Mavericks and Sigma, showing up from time to time to help X out of tough situations. He utilizes the Z-Buster exclusively in X1, and it is much more powerful than the X-Buster. in X2 and X3 he utilizes a beam saber also, but mostly his buster. In X4, however, he utilizes the saber exclusively. From then on, he gains new saber techniques, but is also able to employ the buster, except for X7 and X8.
Oddly enough, this is the only game in the entire series where Zero has brown eyes. Even the remake changed this.
Zero also appears in the Game Boy Advance game series Mega Man Zero. In this series, X has been copied, and Zero must be resurrected in order to be a formidable challenge for "Copy X". Zero uses the Z Saber and Z Buster, but also learns new abilities and gains more weapons along the way.
Dr. Thomas Light As the creator of X, Dr. Light felt it necessary to seal him away until his capabilities and reliability could be confirmed so that he would not harm any humans. Dr. Light appears as a holographic image inside capsules that enhance X's abilities.
Vile Vile is the top commander of Sigma's Maverick army who does everything he can to crush X's and Zero's efforts to topple the Mavericks. Vile was shut down due to his violent behavior, but was reactivated when Sigma started the rebellion. This recurring enemy shows up twice in his mobile armor suit in order to get the advantage over X, although he is very maneuverable on foot. He is patterned after Boba Fett from Star Wars. In fact, his original Japanese name was Vava, clearly similar to Boba.
Sigma Sigma plans to start a new civilization of Mavericks without the presence of humans. Because of his intentions, he is hunted down relentlessly, but is guarded by his Mavericks to impede the efforts of the Maverick Hunters. Sigma is one of the Reploids Dr. Cain built from information gleaned from X himself. After going Maverick, Sigma has apparently determined that the human race is inferior to Reploids and must either be enslaved or killed.

Story The player controls Mega Man Volnutt, a teenage digger and archaeologist of sorts who searches underground ruins mainly for Quantum Refractors, which are the civilization's primary source of energy. He was found as a baby on Nino Island at the bottom of the closed-off Nino Ruins and was raised by Professor Barrel Caskett along with his granddaughter, Roll Caskett.
Giving them trouble are the Bonnes, a group of pirates consisting of leader Teasel Bonne, his sister, Tron Bonne (who is also allegedly infatuated with Mega Man), Bon Bonne, their baby brother who somehow can drive a large mechasuit. (known primarily for his oft-repeated line, "Babu!", which has become a catch phrase among the series' fans) and the 40 Servbots (41 by Megaman Legends 2). More trouble is given to Mega Man by the Reaverbots, the techno-organic semi-intelligent residents of the underground ruins who serve to protect its contents.
Character MegaMan Volnutt/Trigger (also called Rock Volnut) - A teenage digger and protagonist of the Mega Man Legends franchise (excluding The Misadventures of Tron Bonne). During one of Barrell Caskett's digs on Nino Island, he found a large crystal embedded into the wall with a baby and a monkey inside. As Barrel investigated this further, he touched the crystal which caused it to melt and the duo to be released. Since Barrell had snuck into the Nino ruins without permission, he took the baby and the monkey (Data) with him. The baby was later renamed Rock Volnutt at the request of Roll since it was her favorite video game hero. It is later revealed that Rock Volnutt is a first class purifier unit from Elysium, whose job was to eliminate malfunctioning units (Much like a Maverick Hunter from the Mega Man X series). Megaman's voice was performed by Corey Sevier in the first Legends and Susan Roman in Legends 2
Roll Caskett - Rock's adopted sister. Roll often aids Rock during his dungeon adventures by making him weapons and transporting him around the city. Not much is known about Roll, but her parents were diggers who mysteriously disappeared on a dig of Forbidden Island. She is 14 years old (at the beginning of the series) and has quite a bit of skill in mechanics. She also constructs special weapons for Rock during the games. Her voice was performed by Tracy Ryan
Professor Barrell Caskett - Roll's grandfather, and Rock's adopted grandfather. Barrel is a famous Digger who has wrote many books on digging. It was he who discovered Rock in the Nino Island ruins after sneaking into it without permission. He took care of Roll after her parents disappeared and later looks after Rock as well. George Masswohl played the professor for both games
Data - Little robot monkey that saves the player's game, accompanies Roll somewhat as a pet, and gives you helpful information if asked. It is later revealed that Data contains all of Rock's memories, but were stored inside him so that they couldn't be retrieved by anyone but himself. He can talk, but only Rock can understand him.
Tron Bonne: Tron is the genius of the trio, she created the Servbots (Kobuns in Japan) and also creates many of the Bonne's fighting machines.
Bon Bonne: Not much is known about Bon, but there is speculation that he is actually a genius baby in a fighting suit. He is only able to say "Babu", but his siblings understand him just fine. Others say that Bon was actually created by Tron, but there is no official information on him.
Teisel Bonne is the brains of the trio who has a unique way of thinking. His plans and tactics are often extravagant and would most likely work if it weren't for MegaMan and team.
Glyde - Henchman of Lex Loath, who leads the Birdbots, small bird-like robots with meaner dispositions than the Servbots. In The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, he captures Teisel and Bon when Teisel fails to pay the debt he owed Loath in time. Glyde and Loath are defeated by the Bonnes and arrested, but Glyde reappears a year later in Mega Man Legends 2. He works with Bola, Klaymoor, and the Bonnes to find the keys to the Mother Lode before MegaMan.
Lex Loath - A loan shark who desired to awaken an enormous Reaverbot called the Sleeping Colossus. To achieve this goal, he captured many Diggers, including Teisel and Bon Bonne. He was defeated by the Bonnes and put in jail along with Glyde, and hasn't been seen since.
Bola - An aged pirate, Bola looks like a ninja with a claw and a sword, and he has the ability to fly and teleport. He is convinced by his partner Klaymoor to aid him in the search for the keys to the Mother Lode, but he's not too interested in the keys. He battles MegaMan twice in the Manda Ruins and loses both times. When the pirates make their final stand in Calinca, Bola decides to leave, saying he's too old for this, and Klaymoor leaves with him.
Klaymoor - A veteran pirate, Klaymoor is the larger of the two pirates, with a machine gun arm. Unlike his partner Bola, who is easygoing and doesn't care about the keys, Klaymoor is determined to get them. He fights MegaMan twice on Nino Island, but concedes to defeat when he pulls something in his back. When the pirates make their final stand in Calinca, Bola convinces Klaymoor to give up the search, saying he's too old for this.
The Master - The last natural human, who lived on Elysium for 3,000 years. Despite being human, he bears a resemblance to Zero from the Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero series because of his blue eyes and long blond hair. He cared for MegaMan Trigger and towards the end of his life, he asked MegaMan to take him to Terra. Before his death, he asked MegaMan to destroy the System Library.
MegaMan Juno - The master of all the ruins on Kattelox Island, he was awakened by MegaMan Volnutt when he entered the Main Gate. Juno attempted to "reinitialize" the island's systems--by activating a system that would kill every person on the island. He was defeated by MegaMan in battle.
Reaverbots - The main enemies encountered by the player in the series. Reaverbots vary in size, shape, form, and abilities, and are essentially equivalent to a Mechaniloid in construction and thinking capacity.
Mistress Yuna / Matilda - A "Mother Unit" assigned by the Ancients to oversee the systems of Terra. Several years ago, she found a dying carbon (human), who happened to be Matilda, Roll's mother. Yuna used parts of her body to save Matilda, but ended using too much for her own body to function and she had to inhabit Matilda's body.
Mistress Sera - Another "Mother Unit," Sera was assigned to the systems of Elysium. She was jealous of the attention MegaMan Trigger received from the Master and engaged him in battle when the Master asked MegaMan to destroy the System Library on Elysium. After the battle, Yuna separated MegaMan and Sera, sealing Sera in a diamond-shaped force field on Forbidden Island. She is awakened by MegaMan, and she manipulates him into getting the keys to the Library for her so she can activate the Carbon Reinitialization Program (similar to what MegaMan Juno was going to do). MegaMan defeats her in battle, and even though her body is destroyed, her spirit lives on inside Yuna's original body.

Story Throughout the game, Lan and MegaMan.EXE fight off Net Criminals connected to an organization called the WWW ("World Three"). The WWW intentionally infects computer networks with viruses so as to hinder their normal operations and steal vital information. This organization is led by Dr. Wily, the primary villain in the original series and an important figure in both the X and Zero series. According to the storyline, Lan's grandfather worked with Dr. Wily on various projects, though the former specialized in networks (which led to NetNavis) and the latter on robotics. The government cut Wily's funding, opting instead to pursue the NetNavi project. Wily's (the WWW's) goal throughout the game is to collect four super programs with which the LifeVirus ("Dream Virus" in Japan) may be constructed. The LifeVirus is supposedly a nearly indestructible virus capable of wiping out the Net and all associated devices. Some of the confrontations with the various members of the WWW involve desperate, life-threatening situations including rigging a bus to explode, cutting off air at a large party, freezing all clean water in a city, and re-educating school students to be mindless slaves to the WWW.
During the final confrontation with the WWW, it is revealed the MegaMan.EXE is actually a unique Navi that Lan's scientist father created. Lan had a twin brother, Hub ("Saito"), who died at a young age. Dr. Hikari was able to essentially transfer him into a computer program to become the NetNavi MegaMan.EXE.
Characters Lan Hikari and MegaMan / Netto Hikari (光熱斗; Hikari Netto) and RockMan The main characters of the game. Lan is a 5th grader whose father is one of the top scientists and Navi researchers in the world. Megaman.EXE and Lan are noted throught the game as having extraordinary cooperation. The reason for this is revealed toward the games ending. MegaMan was created by fusing the soul of Hub Hikari (Lan's brother) into a revolutionary NetNavi program designed by their father, which utilized human DNA in order to produce a truly sentient program capable of befriending its operator.
Mayl Sakurai /Meiru Sakurai (桜井メイル; Sakurai Meiru) and Roll Mayl is Lan's childhood friend who lives next door to him. She is also noted as his girlfriend, which is best shown in a comical romantic scene after Lan saves her life. Her NetNavi is Roll, who is based on Roll from the other Mega Man games, though she is not related to MegaMan is this version. Both Mayl and Roll take on a romantic role in the series. Roll has the ability to attack other Navis with her antennae, as well as heal friendly programs. Roll (along with other NetNavis) also takes the form of a Battle Chip which allows her to be summoned for a single, but powerful, attack which then heals Megaman for about half the damage that it deals.
Yai Ayano / Yaito Ayanokoji (綾小路やいと; Ayanokōji Yaito) and Glyde Yai is the brilliant daughter of a rich CEO. She is smaller and younger than most of the other characters, yet she is also more intelligent than most of them. Her NetNavi, Glyde, is not suited for battle, and must rely on the rare and powerful battlechips in Yai's collection. His character is based on Glyde from The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.
Dex Ogreon / Dekao Oyama (大山デカオ; Ōyama Dekao) and GutsMan Dex is somewhat like the school bully, but he is far from being bad. He and Lan become good friends due to the fact that they share the same passion for Net battles. His NetNavi, Guts Man, is bulky and powerful, similar to Guts Man from the original Mega Man game.
Eugene Chaud and ProtoMan / Enzan Ijuuin (伊集院炎山; Ijūin Enzan) and Blues Chaud is an official "NetBattler," commissioned by the government in order to investigate Net Crimes. Chaud is Lan's primary rival, both working towards a similar goal. This eventually leads to a degree of mutual respect and friendship between the two boys. ProtoMan is based on the same character from the original series, however the design is notably similar to Zero from the X and Zero series (especially his sword based attacks). Like the original character, both ProtoMan and Chaud carry a lone wolf attitude, take umbrage at help, and are convinced of their superior battle technique.
Dr. Wily The mastermind behind the WWW. He was once a government scientist who worked with Dr. Hikari (Lan's grandfather) until funding was stopped for Wily's robotics research. He began the WWW to get revenge on the entire Net base society. To date, he has died twice in the games, but once his death was faked, and it seems that his second death was false as well, as he has talked to his son Dr. Regal in BN5, two games after his 'death'. This proves to be true when he makes his final stand in BN6. Wily, like his classic counterpart, survives the entire series.
Bass.EXE / Forte.EXE The so-called 'Super Navi', Bass was created 10 years ago in a secret project, but was later attacked when he was believed to be causing system failures that were actually caused by the "primal" internet, Alpha. Surviving, Bass swore vengeance on all humans, and any Navi who dares ally with them. Despite various defeats at the hands of MegaMan, Bass still manages to survive every encounter, and comes back later stronger than ever. He manages to steal Dr. Wily's completed Life Aura and uses it for himself.
Dr. Yuichiro Hikari (光祐一郎; Hikari Yūichiro) and Dr. Tadashi Hikari The father and grandfather of Lan respectively, they are considered the greatest scientists of their generations, and many expect Lan to follow in their footsteps. Dr Hikari (who isn't given a first name in the U.S. version) invented, among other things, the NaviCustomizer (which does not appear until the third game) and advanced versions of the PET. His father, Dr. Tadashi Hikari, is credited with creating the first PET and programming the first NetNavi.
Mr. Match / Hinoken Mr. Match is the one minor villain who appears in the most Battle Network games, appearing in all but BN5. As his name implies, he is a fiery and passionate individual whose specialty is lighting fires on the net that reflect on the real world. He's not a bad actor, either. In this game he commands the navi Fireman, who appears as the first boss of the game inside of Lan's oven.

[:Index - Classic - X - Dash - EXE - ZX - Ryusei No Rockman:]
Story The game takes place at least 200 years after the end of the Zero series Humans and Reploids now coexist peacefully.
In time, the humanoids of Earth (who were once humans and Reploids) managed to revive some of the former nations of Earth. However, preventing further prosperity like the days of old, incidents around Earth began where some of the machine life forms became Maverick, making some areas dangerous, and soon this activity obstructed exchange between nations.
The nations became divided into areas designated as Innerpeace (インナー, Innā?, Inner in the Japanese version), where it was safe for humanoids to live, and the Outlands (アウター, Autā?, Outer in the Japanese version) where the dangerous Mavericks appeared. Great developments were made due to the efforts of the corporation Slither Inc. (セルパン・カンパニー, Serupan Kanpanī?, Serpent Company in the Japanese version), which possesses technology unearthed from ruins in the Outlands. Peaceful life is maintained by receiving the technology offered by Slither Inc. in the central areas of cities.
In the frontier regions where the crisis management of countries still doesn't reach, damage from attacks by Mavericks (general term for Reploids and Mechaniloids that threaten the peace) still occur. The humanoids in these areas developed the self-defense organization known as The Guardians (ガーディアン, Gādian?, The Guards in the Japanese version, although the katakana are literally "guardian") They defend the frontier regions and investigate the cause of the Maverick element.
Slither Inc. uses the technology developed from historic ruin finds essentially as a life-line for the cities, providing goods to its humans such as energy resources. It is not necessarily a bad thing that the company has more or less grasped the life-line of the cities, at least for the humans in those cities. Slither Inc.'s president is named Serpent (セルパン, Serupan?). Serpent is considered a wonderful humanoid who raised the company on his own by excavating the ancient technology sleeping in the Outlands. Furthermore, he has arranged a Mechaniloid army in his company, and is said to have repeatedly saved countries from Maverick attacks in the past.
On the other hand, the Guardians in the frontier regions are considered to be unassociated private ventures. They make the "Guardian H.Q.," a gigantic flying ship, their headquarters, and they take people on a volunteer basis to not only defend the frontier areas but also investigate the Maverick source. The original leader of the Guardians disappeared during the investigation of an Outlands area, and command has been taken over by the young girl named Prairie (プレリー, Purerī?).
The two adolescent protagonists, a male named Vent (ヴァン, Van?) and a female named Aile (エール, Ēru?), have lost their parents due to Maverick attacks. Another character, Giro, full name Girouette (ジルウェ, Jiruwe?), is Vent and Aile's senior, and carries out his own business, Giro Express (Girouette Express in the Japanese version) which sends anything, from letters to weapons, to anywhere, regardless of its legality. He receives a request from Prairie to transport the Biometals (ライブメタル, Raibu Metaru?, Live Metals in the Japanese version) Model X (モデルX, Moderu X?) and Model Z (モデルZ, Moderu Z?), which are based on Mega Man X and Zero. Biometal is a substance discovered in places, such as ruins, that contains information about past events. They carry the battle experience and memories of beings from the past.
Later, Models X and Z are used by the characters. Vent and Aile use the Biometal Model X to take a form similar to Mega Man X. X's battle experience from times past provides them with attacks such as the Double Charge Shot. Giro uses the Biometal Model Z and takes a form similar to Zero. There is actually very little known about Model Z other than the fact that it utilizes a Z-Saber-like weapon. Only Vent and Aile are playable, and Giro is a supporting character. While players are not able to use Model Z, they have access to Model ZX, a fusion of Model X and Model Z with some capabilities from each.
Characters Vent (ヴァン, Van?) and Aile (エール, Ēru?) are the two main protagonists of Mega Man ZX. They use the powerful artifacts known as "Biometals" to defend themselves and others from Mavericks. Vent means "Wind" in French, while Aile means "Wing" in French.
The game doesn't make it clear whether or not Vent and Aile exist in the same timeline, or what their relationship is if they do. Neither one is ever seen or mentioned in the other's storyline; however, a promo movie for the game features both of them coexisting in the same timeline, and the game's English web site states they both work together at Giro Express. The site also says Aile has "plenty of spunk to keep Vent on his toes", again suggesting they are in the same timeline. Their backstories are identical, and other than gender the main differences between them is different dialog in certain scenes, and very minor gameplay changes.
Vent and Aile have been confirmed to appear in Mega Man ZX Advent, which is stated to have a "separate but intertwining" story, with Vent appearing in Ashe's story, and Aile in Grey's. However, it remains to be seen whether Advent will clarify whether they exist in the same timeline or not. Both of them still retain their Model ZX transformation from the first game. Also due to Advent being set about 4 years after the first game both look very different with Aile having a long thin ponytail and Vent having Giro-like hair only brown instead of blonde. Also both are wearing blue versions of model ZX's jacket instead of their shirts that they are seen wearing in Mega Man ZX. In Mega Man ZX Advent Grey or Ashe will be fighting Aile or Vent at some point to obtain model ZX.
Ten years prior to the events of Mega Man ZX, they went with their mother(s) to the fair, where their mother(s) was/were killed in a Maverick attack (Vent's scenario reveals that the Pseudoroid Purprill was responsible for the incident). At the beginning of the game, Vent and Aile work for Giro Express and are asked by the Guardians to transport the Biometal Model X. They later come into the possession of Model X, and later Model Z when Giro sacrifices his life to save them. They also later obtain Models H, F, L, and P.
Vent and Aile are both voiced by Sanae Kobayashi in Mega Man ZX. In Mega Man ZX Advent, Vent is voiced by Kenji Nojima while Aile is voiced by Sanae Kobayashi.
Girouette (ジルウェ, Jiruwe?), who goes by Giro for short in the English version, is a character in the Mega Man ZX video game. He is the senior to Aile and Vent, and oversees his own business, named after him: Giro Express (Girouette Express in the original Japanese). Giro Express is a delivery service that will deliver "anything, legal or not". The name "Giro" refers to the British name for a direct deposit, while "Girouette" means "weather vane" in French.
His possession of the Biometal Model Z varies between Vent and Aile's storylines. Vent's story clearly states that he used the M.E.G.A. System to transform at approximatively the same time as Vent found Model X, but in Aile's it is implied that he has had Model Z for far longer and even was part of the Guardians. In both storylines he sacrifices his own life to save Vent/Aile from Serpent and Model W. After Vent/Aile destroy the Model W Core, Giro has a dialouge with the protagonist and gives him/her a mission to "guide this country to peace".
In Aile's scenario a supplemental scene between Aile and Prairie mention Girouette's striking resemblance to Zero of the Mega Man Zero series, proving that it was most likely intentional and not due to a coincidence of character design.
Giro is voiced by Yuuto Kazama, the same actor who voiced Zero in the Mega Man Zero series.
Grey (グレイ, Gurei?) and Ashe (アッシュ, Asshu?) are the protagonists of Mega Man ZX Advent. The two characters will be able to control the new Biometal A modeled after Axl (although it is actually based upon Master Albert of the Three Wise Men; It's abilities are better suited to resemble Axl's) from the Mega Man X series. Unlike Vent and Aile from the first Mega Man ZX title, these two characters have different storylines; for example, Grey's story begins with him awakening in a laboratory and meeting Pandora, whilst Ashe and the Hunters are attacking an air fleet and encounter Prometheus. Model A is the only model seen able to use the Giga Crush. Using Model A's Trans-On ability they copy Biometal forms H, P, L, F, and ZX. Model A also is able to use the Trans-On system on the eight Pseudoroid bosses. The main difference in gameplay between the two is their charged buster shots as Model A; Grey fires several homing shots to destroy nearby enemies, while Ashe fires a single round that travels from enemy to enemy.
Prairie (プレリー, Purerī?) is a character in the Mega Man ZX video game. Her name means "meadow" in French. Prairie is the current leader of the defensive organization known as "The Guardians", which was created by the people of the frontier regions; they are considered to be an unassociated private venture by Slither Inc. The Guardians take in people on a voluntary basis to defend "Frontier" areas and discover the cause of Maverick outbreaks. Their headquarters is the giant flying ship known as "Guardian HQ."
Prairie took command of the Guardians after the original leader (who was revealed as Ciel) went missing after an investigation of an "Outlands" area. At the start of Mega Man ZX, she hired the Giro Express to transport the Biometals "Model X" and "Model Z".
It is revealed in the game that Prairie is over 100 years old and is not human, but a reploid designed to look human, as she was present when she saw Ragnarok breaking apart in the atmosphere, and later during the time of the Models' first discovery. It is greatly implied that Prairie is Alouette from the Mega Man Zero games, but not outright stated.
In Aile's storyline, Prairie is hinted to have fallen in love with Girouette, being said that Giro reminded her of someone she knew before - a reference to him resembling Zero.
Prairie is voiced by Ryō Hirohashi, who also voiced Alouette.
It should also be noted that Prairie has the same cat toy that Alouette had (although it now has an appearance similar to a Cyber Elf), and she also states that it was given to her by Ciel, just as Alouette states.
Serpent (セルパン, Serupan?) is the head of Slither Inc. (Serpent Company in the original Japanese game, in which it is named after him). Slither Inc. specialises in the excavation of technology from historic ruins such as Biometals, an act which is exclaimed as the lifeline for the cities of the frontier regions. Many great developments were made thanks to Slither Inc.; they were the ones to ensure that peaceful life was maintained despite numerous Maverick attacks. Though Slither Inc. has acquired much power, for the people living in the frontier regions, this is not necessarily a bad thing. Serpent has amassed for himself a mechaniloid army in his ranks that he has already used several times in the past to save countries from Mavericks. It is revealed that he was a former member of the Guardians.
He comes into the possession of the Biometal Model W, which originate from Doctor Weil and becomes the antagonist of the game. Serpent makes it his mission to revive Model W by sacrificing Cyber-Elves filled with the power of fear. When Vent/Aile defeats Serpent for the first time, Serpent harnesses his/her hatred and uses it as the final sacrifice to Model W, fusing with it to become a powerful robot. However, Model W's resurrection is short-lived, as he is defeated again. As Serpent dies, he declares all of humanity to be Mavericks for stopping progress.
It should be noted that it is suggested that Model W drove him insane. In the final scenes he states he wishes to evolve the world rather than destroy it, and in Vent's story, he states that he wishes to remove pain and suffering.
Serpent is voiced by Kiyoyuki Yanada.
Pandora and Promethus are two mysterious characters that appear to be working under Serpent to help him revive Model W, but later reveal to be working as the voices or servants of Model W to help with their destiny of destruction. They reappear in Mega Man ZX Advent.
Prometheus and Pandora fight the player at three different points in the game. After the third battle, they escape and are not seen again. At the end of ZX Advent, their souls are absorbed by Model W.
Prometheus seems rather sadistic and cruel while Pandora is very obedient and quiet. While both seem to behave in a similar fashion for their plans, Pandora prefers magic based movements whereas Prometheus is much more adept in physcial combat and as such they respectively carry it in their approaches and personalities. Where Prometheus would prefer to tackle the enemy directly and take the goal second, the opposite is true for pandora's style where the mission comes first. This can be seen in their independent battles against the player.
Prometheus, being derived from the Titan in Greek mythology of the same name chiefly honored for stealing fire from the gods and giving it to man to use, can use flame-based attacks in an indirect fashion, as well as use his large scythe for more direct melee attacks as he prefers to stay grounded or in high speed aerial movement. Pandora, on the other hand, uses a staff in a more indirect approach with ice and electrical attacks at the player as she floats never actually touching the ground during battle. They are named after two of Saturn's moons. They are created by Master Albert as two sibling reploid with each one given a small portion of Model W's power. They were then ordered to seek out the strongest Mega Man.
Prometheus is voiced by Daisuke Kishio and Pandora is voiced by Shizuka Ito.
Master Thomas (a red-haired tall man), Master Albert (a blue-haired tall sage) and Master Mikhail (a short man) are the controller of Legions in Mega Man ZX Advent. They are named after Thomas Light, Mikhail Cossack, and Albert Wily from the original Mega Man series. Ironically, Mikhail is killed after having been "infected" by Model W into doing its bidding, and Albert winds up Megamerging with Model W to battle the player. Master Albert also created Grey to be another body for himself.
Helios (ヘリオス, Heriosu?), Siarnaq (シャルナク, Sharunaku?), Atlas (アトラス, Atorasu?), and Thetis (テティス, Tetisu?) are the new holders of Biometal Models H, P, F, and L, respectively, which were stolen from Vent and Aile prior to the game's start. Like Prometheus and Pandora, they share their names with Saturn's moons. After defeating them in battle, Grey and Ashe can use Trans On to use their abilities (unlike Vent and Aile, who actually acquired the Biometals). All of them were created by Master Albert.
When the Biometals are used by these people, it is noted that they look similar to Vent and Aile's versions, with some differences, presumably because they are using the Biometals on their own, instead of through a Double Megamerge with Model X as Vent and Aile did.
Helios, using model H has considerably different shaped wings. Though the original version had them protrude from the shoulder and face back, these face to the side, and do not have boosters under the wing. Helios is also noted for being the only user of the main 4 Biometals to not wear the distinct "Boots" that come with the Biometal armor outside of using it, Atlas, using model F has a differently shaped helmet--While Vent and Aile's version had the 'horns' facing back, Atlas' points forwards, much like Fefnir's in the Mega Man Zero series. Siarnaq, using Model P looks almost demonic compared to the original. His face, which is not readily visible, has Purple-red eyes, unlike a humans. The protusions that hold the 'scarf' also extend, making a sort of face guard. Thetis, using Model L, looks much the same as the original version, though one difference is that while Vent and Aile had 2 "Pigtail" Jet propulsion attachments on their heads, Thetis' version only has one long "Ponytail".

Story The Mega Man franchise takes place in two separate timelines, one where robotic technology flourished and another where network technology prospered instead.[3] The Battle Network series was placed in the network timeline, causing it to be completely disconnected from every other Mega Man series (Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends). Mega Man Star Force explicitly states that it takes place approximately two-hundred years into the future of Battle Network, thus placing it into the network timeline. As such, Star Force deviates greatly from the standard Mega Man fare because it draws almost exclusively on elements from Battle Network (mostly gameplay elements), making very few references or allusions to the other Mega Man series. However, Capcom has produced Star Force as a stand-alone series, meaning players can fully enjoy the title without being familiar with the Battle Network series.
Set in the fictional year 220X,[4] emphasis on internet technology has lessened, and instead, the world has become networked through use of EM waves. Though cyber worlds and NetNavis still exist in Star Force, human dependency on them has greatly decreased, and people no longer have Navi companions. Three large satellites orbiting the Earth—Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon—power the EM Wave World that exists around the Earth's atmosphere, keeping the world networked. While the EM Wave World is normally invisible to the human eye, a special piece of eye-wear called the Visualizer (possessed by the series' protagonist) allows a human to see this other world. However, like with the cyber worlds of Battle Network, viruses (known as EM Wave Viruses) inhabit the EM Wave World, causing problems in every day life.
In Battle Network, people operated PErsonal Terminals (PETs) to constantly interact with the network. Similar devices called Transers are used in the Star Force world. Transers are compatible with Battle Cards (the Star Force version of the previous Battle Chips), and when swiped through, they provide means to deleting viruses that infect the EM Wave World and other electronic devices. A group of Satella Police also exist, dedicated to stopping virus attacks and thwarting criminals who manipulate the EM Wave World in order to break the law.
Furthermore, there exists an alien planet known as the "FM Planet," inhabited by extraterrestrial beings called FM-ians. FM-ians can traverse in both worlds, and also possess the ability to physically merge with human beings through a process called "Electromagnetic Wave Change" (denpa henkan). Other than lending a human the FM-ian's powers, this process also transforms an ordinary human into an "EM Wave Human," allowing him or her to freely operate in the EM Wave World (as well as cyber networks within specific electronic devices).
The protagonist of Star Force is Geo Stelar, the son of a famous scientist and astronaut. He has an encounter with a rogue FM-ian known as Omega-Xis who takes residency in Geo's Transer. When the two go through an Electromagnetic Wave Change they form an entity known as Mega Man.
Whereas a large focus in the Battle Network series were the NetNavis (who are mostly based on Robot Masters from the Classic Mega Man series), Star Force focuses on FM-ians based on many real-life constellations
Characters Geo Stelar (星河スバル, Hoshikawa Subaru?, Subaru Hoshikawa in the Japanese version) is the main protagonist of the series. After fusing with Omega-Xis (ウオーロック, Wōrokku?, War-Rock in the original Japanese language version), he is referred to by the name Mega Man (ロックマン, Rokkuman?, Rockman in the original Japanese language version)
A fifth-grade student, Geo mourns the disappearance of his father that occurred three years prior, and has neglected school as a result. After being confronted by his classmates who beg him to return to school, he heads to an observing platform where he discovers the fugitive FM (in fact a survivor of the AM Planet's destruction) Omega-Xis by donning the Visualizer glasses left to him by his father, which allow him to view the EM Wave World. Omega-Xis, having stolen the mysterious Andromeda Key from the FM King, claims to have knowledge of the boy's missing parent.
In the anime, Geo is voiced by Jason Spisak (English) and Fuyuka Oura (Japanese), while the role of his FM is played by Kyle ********* (English) and Kentaro Ito (Japanese). Geo equips himself with weaponry as Mega Man by feeding Battle Cards to Omega-Xis through "Predation." Geo believes his father is still alive somewhere, so he dreams of becoming a space pilot so he can launch into space and find him.
The origin of the Mega Man Rockman name varies by version. In the Japanese version, when asked what his name was, Subaru starts to ask War-Rock. The police chief hears the rock part and impatiently calls him Rockman. In the Egnlish version, Geo starts to give out his name when Omega-Xis just tells him to say "Megaman"
In the manga, Geo's back-story remains the same. However, he is more ambitious about building up the strength to find his father. Subaru goes after the "Star Force," a power being offered to the winner of the Wave Coliseum, a tournament pitting various radio wave humans against each other in battle.
Luna Platz (白金ルナ, Shirogane Runa?, Luna Shirogane in the original Japanese language version) is one of Geo's classmates. After fusing with Ophiuchus (オヒュカス, Ohyukasu?), she is referred to by the name Ophiuchus Queen (オヒュカス・クイーン, Ohyukasu Kuīn?).
Luna is the fifth-grade class president of Echo Ridge Elementary. Because of her involvement in numerous FM-ian incidents, her elitist parents give her a hard time and decide to transfer her to a new school. She keeps this painful news to herself and instead decides to tail Geo and Sonia while they attend a jungle exhibit. There she had an unexpected run-in with her parents, and the confrontation prompts Ophiuchus to appear before her. Promising to punish Luna's parents, Ophiuchus joins with her and unleashes poisonous snakes on the exhibit patrons before escaping into an anaconda robot. Although defeated by Mega Man, Ophiuchus attempts to strike a deal with Omega-Xis for the two of them to be the sole users of the Andromeda Key, but she is forcefully ejected from Luna's body by Gemini on sheer whim.
In the anime, Luna is voiced by Melissa Fahn (English) and Kana Ueda (Japanese), while the role of her FM-ian is played by Kaoru Morota. Infatuated with Mega Man, but unaware of his secret identity, she is targeted by Ophiuchus (an FM-ian with particularly high tactical strength) during one of Sonia's concerts, who takes advantage of Luna's desire to see her hero and her jealousy over Harp Note.
Bud Bison (牛島ゴン太, Ushijima Gonta?, Gonta Ushijima in the original Japanese language version) is one of Geo's classmates. After fusing with Taurus (オックス, Okkusu?, Ox in the original Japanese language version), he is referred to by the name Taurus Fire (オックス・ファイア, Okkusu Faia?, Ox Fire in the original Japanese language version).
Bud is a gruff bully, who attempts to intimidate Geo into returning to school. During one such encounter Omega-Xis's brash personality causes Geo to punch Bud, leaving him embarrassed and his companions questioning their association with him. Taurus acts on his anguish, offering him the power to get Geo back. Escaping into the cyber network of a truck that Luna and Zack are riding in, he drives it recklessly through the city, attempting to run Geo over.
In the anime, Bud is voiced by Robbie Rist (English) and Shintaro Ohata (Japanese), while the role of his FM-ian is played by Nobuyuki Hiyama. He grows unhappy over Luna spending so much time with Geo upon his return to school, and is targeted by Taurus (an FM who is number one in terms of power amongst his kind) when the FM-ian is thrown into a hallway by Omega-Xis during one of their battles.
In the manga, Bud encounters a gang of street thugs who bully him and an innocent puppy. Taurus subsequently targets Bud who desires the power to overcome the bullies. However, after being defeated by Mega Man, Taurus becomes an ally of Omega-Xis's and reveals that the "Star Force" will help Geo find his father.
Zack Temple (最小院キザマロ, Saishōin Kizamaro?, Kizamaro Saishoin in the original Japanese language version) is one of Geo's classmates.
Zack is a somewhat nerdy and condescending student who is always seen tagging along with Luna and Bud.
In the anime, Zack is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (English) and Yuko Gibu (Japanese).
Aaron Boreal (天地守, Amachi Mamoru?, Amachi Mamoru in the original Japanese language version) is a friend of Geo's father.
The head researcher of Amaken Laboratory, Aaron delivers the news of Kelvin's disappearance to Geo and his mother, and bestows upon Geo the Visualizer that was left to him by his father. He aids Geo in reaching a space station to prevent the FM King from destroying the Earth by using a transmitter in its debris on Dream Island.
In the anime, Aaron is voiced by Wally Wingert (English) and Hiroshi Tsuchida (Japanese).
Detective Copper (五陽田ヘイジ, Goyoda Heiji?, Police Inspector Heiji Goyoda in the original Japanese language version) is chief member of the Satella Police. His character is based on Zenigata Heiji, and also bares resemblance to Koichi Zenigata of Lupin III. His surname translates as "there's trouble all around".
Copper investigates all of the incidents involving FM-ians and suspects that Geo, who is often present during the incidents, may be involved. When a surge of Z-wave energy makes the EM Wave World visible to humans and threatens to absorb them into a wave hole, Copper is able to rescue himself, Geo, and Aaron by reflecting the signals with his Transer.
In the anime, Copper is voiced by Michael McConnohie (English) and Tomoyuki Shimura (Japanese).
In the manga, Copper succeeds in capturing both Mega Man and Gemini Spark, and pits the two against one another in a Wave Battle.
Tom (宇田海深佑, Utagai Shinsuke?, Shinsuke Utagai in the original Japanese language version) is a worker at Amaken Laboratory. After fusing with Cygnus (キグナス, Kigunasu?), he is referred to by the name Cygnus Wing (キグナス・ウィング, Kigunasu Wingu?).
Paranoid and distrustful, Tom contributed to the creation of Brother Band. He received no recognition, however, and was thus afraid of having his work plagiarized, specifically his latest invention, the Flying Jacket. When he misunderstands coworker Aaron as claiming the jacket as his own, Cygnus appears before him, and together they trap Aaron and some children visiting the labs in a planetarium exhibit by forcing them to dance in circles. Hoping to earn Tom's trust, Aaron removes his helmet in the oxygen-less chamber, releasing Cygnus' hold over him.
In the anime, Tom is voiced by Sam Regal (English) and Norihisa Mori (Japanese), while the role of his FM-ian is played by Liam O'Brien (English) and Nobutoshi Canna (Japanese). He builds an "EM Wave Conversion System" that allows FM-ians to transform into EM Wave Humans without host bodies, and directs his fellow FM-ians to seize the Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon satellites.
In the manga, Cygnus Wing appears as an opponent of Mega Man's in the Wave Coliseum tournament. Cygnus Wing's manga personality exhibits a mixture of effeminate mannerisms and slight sadism. Also, Cygnus Wing is lacking his wings for unknown reasons.
Sonia Strumm (響ミソラ, Hibiki Misora?, Misora Hibiki in the original Japanese language version) is the heroine of the series. After fusing with Harp (ハープ, Hāpu?), she is referred to by the name Harp Note (ハープ・ノート, Hāpu Nōto?).
Sonia Strumm is a popular rock star who, like Geo, is depressed over the loss of a parent (in her case, her mother). Sonia and Geo become friends, but Sonia is constantly pressured by her money-starved manager, leading Harp to manipulate her into attacking people throughout the city with guitar wails. Following her defeat by Mega Man, Harp becomes an ally of Omega-Xis.
In the anime, Sonia is voiced by Misato Fukuen, while the role of her FM-ian is played by Kyoko Hikami. She hopes to write original songs instead of merely performing those that she is given. Harp's decision to break ties with the FM Planet lies in both her friendship with Sonia and her belief that fighting Mega Man is not productive
Michinori Ikuta (育田道徳, Ikuta Michinori?) is Geo's homeroom teacher at Kodama Elementary. After fusing with Libra, he is referred to by the name Libra Balance (リブラ・バランス, Ribura Baransu?).
Receiving word that he will lose his job as a teacher, Ikuta breaks down due to stress and meets Libra. Together with the FM-ian, his personality shifts to extremely strict, and he puts his class into a trance of non-stop studying.
In the anime, Ikuta is voiced by Kenji Hamada, while the role of his FM-ian is played by Hiroshi Shirokuma. He lectures at Echo Ridge Laboratory. When Libra (an FM-ian who often weighs decisions in an "A or B" scenario before taking action) becomes injured in a battle against Mega Man, he takes control of Ikuta's body to hide while he recovers. Once Libra is able to take the form of W Ikuta, he hosts a game show that Sonia is invited to participate in.
Tsukasa Futaba (双葉ツカサ, Futaba Tsukasa?) is one of Geo's classmates. After fusing with Gemini, he is referred to by the name Gemini Spark (ジェミニ・スパーク, Jemini Supāku?)
Abandoned by his parents in a junkyard on Dream Island as an infant, Tsukasa developed split personality disorder, his other more evil personality named Hikaru Futaba (双葉ヒカル, Futaba Hikaru?). While generally nice, he is pushed by Hikaru to hate the world, and has also been in contact with Gemini (the FM King's right-hand man) for an extended period prior to Geo's meeting with Omega-Xis. Once merged, Tsukasa and Hikaru separate into two separate bodies representing the form of Gemini Spark. However, he remains touched by Geo's kindness.
In the anime, Tsukasa is voiced by Yuki Kaida, while the role of his FM-ian is played by Atsushi Kisaichi. The Hikaru personality is virtually absent, and Tsukasa is seemingly a willing participant in the FM Planet's plans. He was rescued by Gemini after being run over by a truck and left to die in the ensuing blaze. Unlike Geo, Tsukasa has mastered Electromagnetic Wave Change before they meet. Although the other FM-ians plan to destroy Earth, Tsukasa and Gemini secretly intend to destroy the FM Planet by taking the Andromeda Key for themselves.
In the manga, Gemini Spark (nicknamed "Gemini-kun") only has one embodiment that alternates between the darker, more aggressive Black (B) and the calmer, more mellow White (W). (The two personalities usually dispute over control of the body.) When Gemini Spark was a child, he was abandoned in space and found by Crown Thunder. They shared a bond through their control of lightning, and thus Crown Thunder raised him. Considering Gemini Spark has existed as Gemini Spark since his youth, it is unlikely that Tsukasa and Gemini exist independently in the manga.
Chiyokichi Hazami (狭見千代吉, Hazami Chiyokichi?) is a boy who frequents the BIG WAVE store in Kodama Town. After fusing with Cancer (キャンサー, Kyansā?), he is referred to by the name Cancer Bubble (キャンサー・バブル, Kyansā Baburu?).
A third-grade student, the cocky and determined Chiyokichi was saddened by his lack of friends, resulting in his encounter with Cancer. While Cancer does not have evil intentions like many of his FM brethren, he and his human partner are boastful and pride themselves highly on their skills in battle.
In the anime, Chiyokichi is voiced by Wasabi Mizuta, while the role of his FM-ian is played by Daiki Nakamura. He is a die-hard fan of Sonia's, and is targeted by Cancer after failing to get into one of her concerts without a ticket. Unlike other EM Wave Humans, Cancer Bubble always retains Chiyokichi's voice, and the transformation is rarely complete (thus, Cancer Bubble is often still wearing Chiyokichi's clothes or hat). Later in the series, Cancer Bubble becomes the comic relief of the villains, much in the same vain as BubbleMan in the series' predecessor, MegaMan NT Warrior. In the Japanese versions, Cancer also commonly ends statements with the word "buku," very similar to BubbleMan's tendency to end statements with "puku."
Jūrō Ogami (尾上十郎, Ogami Jūrō?) is a gardener. After fusing with Wolf (ウルフ, Urufu?), he is referred to by the name Wolf Forest (ウルフ・フォレスト, Urufu Foresto?).
Jūrō is employed by the owners of the jungle exhibit that Geo and Sonia visit. His introduction to Wolf was abrupt, as the FM-ian just showed up in his Transer one day.
In the anime, Jūrō is voiced by Tetsu Inada, while the role of his FM is played by Tokuyoshi Kawashima. He works for the family of a young woman named Himeka, who he also courts as a possible suitor. Targeted off-screen by Wolf (a particularly ferocious and uncontrollable FM-ian), Jūrō automatically undergoes Electromagnetic Wave Change (though its effects can be suppressed) whenever he sees anything in the shape of a full moon due to the FM-ian's inability to fully corrupt his heart. Wolf also temporarily takes up refuge with a little girl named Mayu after getting into an argument with Taurus, entering a dog show to please her. He is eventually forced to depart after going on a rampage, but leaves her his "baby" to care for in his place.
Jean Couronne Velmond Georgione XIV (ジャン・クローヌ・ヴェルモンド・ジョルジョワーヌ14世, Jan Kurōnu Berumondo Jorujowānu Jūyon-sei?) is a deceased French soldier. After fusing with Crown (クラウン, Kuraun?), he is referred to by the name Crown Thunder (クラウン・サンダー, Kuraun Sandā?).
Duke Couronne is the ghost of an officer whose ship sunk off the coast of Dream Island. His spirit haunts the junkyard, but the circumstances of his meeting with Crown are unknown.
In the anime, Crown is voiced by Shigenori Sōya, while the role of Crown Thunder is played by Nobuaki Fukuda. Couronne, a phantom sea-traveler believed to guard a sunken treasure within an abandoned amusement park, is targeted by Crown (an FM-ian who enjoys threatening the weak) off-screen, who gains an immortal vessel in merging with the man's skull. Crown is later able to take the form of W Couronne, but his body is cold and dead with various arrows protruding from it, causing humans to flee at the sight of him.
In the manga, Crown Thunder found Gemini Spark when he was a child, and through their bond of lightning, Crown Thunder decided to raise the child. It is currently unseen if Couronne or Crown exist independently in the manga.
The Satellite Supervisors (サテライト管理者, Sateraito Kanrisha?) are survivors of the AM Planet's annihilation, named Pegasus Magic (ペガサス・マジック, Pegasasu Majikku?), Leo Kingdom (レオ・キングダム, Reo Kingudamu?), and Dragon Sky (ドラゴン・スカイ, Doragon Sukai?).
Surveyors of the three satellites in Earth's orbit that keep the EM Wave World in check and the wise men of the AM Planet, the Supervisors question whether Geo and Omega-Xis are strong enough to take on the FM forces, and as a test, Mega Man must battle with one of them in a weakened "shadow" state. In defeat, Mega Man is given the legendary "Star Force," a power which allows him to take on the appearance and abilities of the Satellite Supervisors themselves.
In the anime, Pegasus Magic is voiced by Kunihiko Yasui, Leo Kingdom by Tōru Furusawa, and Dragon Sky by Tōru Ōkawa.
Cepheus (ケフェウス, Kefeusu?) is the FM King. Cepheus is the original holder of the Andromeda Key, a device which permits access to a war-engine made up of EM waves throughout the universe known as Andromeda. Under Gemini's suggestion, he obliterated the AM Planet with Andromeda's assistance, and also ordered the assault on the space station from where Kelvin was trying to contact his home world. Cepheus viewed Brother Band as a means for humans to invade and conquer his planet, thus he sought to stop it by declaring war on Earth. He is rescued by Mega Man when Andromeda begins to overload, and turns over a new leaf when offered a hand in friendship. As a token of his appreciation, Cepheus leaves with the Satellite Supervisors to rebuild the AM Planet from its remnants.
